I have watched both of their matches of the world cup. They look scary even if tactics are not working the indivitual quality wins for them. Vini jr is a main threat with all 3 goals coming from his position. Great video
As a French, I'm just gonna say this: Brasilians should take football lessons over dancing lessons. Then and only then they can finally win a Worlds in this decade. European soccer is just so much more advanced compared to Brasilian.
@@sluggishhollow2030 Firstly and mostly, I said "brasilian football", which is different from south american football. Argentinian football was always more technical than Brazilian, Brazil has just stronger midfielders which always made the game easier for them. Like Croatia. But Croatia also has a solid defense, while Brazil went all in on midfielders and strikers. They couldn't get through Gvardiol and Juranovic, while Argentina could, for the aforementioned reasons. Until Brazil doesn't change their football, they will always lose to european football WITH solid defense. They always did. Now, if you want a serious response to what you implied: They won, yeah, but at penals, after a soft pen gifted at the beginning to Argentina. After some really sus management of the game since there were very little cards (how Martinez didn't get a red card after shooting the ball outside the field, twice, in front of the French shooter? That's yellow once and 2nd yellow after if it was Collina as referee, the most respected referee FIFA ever had, not counting all Acunas and Alvarez fauls that were easily multiple yellows). It's not really an accomplishment to win at penals. Mbappè played godly and everyone said it, he scored 4 goals in a final, never happened before. It went like this, it's fine, France can easily win the next 5 world cups or at least keep going to finals consistently. I do expect Italy and Germany to step up their game with the 2026 WC and I do believe we can see a full European ro16 in 2026 WC. Especially if Serbia gets their shit together management-wise. They have amazing strikers, really bad backline tho. Balkans also have really high potential and they showed it in two WC in a row. Brazil showed inconsistencies and they can't keep up with a good defense like Croatia, Morocco also would've beaten Brasil IMO. They got lucky by finding Korea at the beginning which is still very unripe, otherwise they would've been eliminated even faster. France would've destroyed Brazil, for example. Argentina was absolutely really good and deserved the win, however, again, the game had questionable choices and it ended at penals after a free soft penal at beginning, not really a solid win in most books, mine included. I'm glad they won tho, they needed something. Especially nowadays that their country is in ruin and despair from a geopolitical standpoint. Also Messi is really an amazing player, I disagree he is even close to Maradona, but he is still one of the top 3 players of his generation. I'm just saying this now: keep an eye on Mbappè and Gvardiol/Livakovic. They are the new generation, they are what you will hear a lot at 2026 WC. That's my personal analysis.
@@clintwestwood3539 I disagree that Morocco could have beaten Brazil. I think France would have won against Brazil. But you make it seem like Brazil is a shitty team. There is a reason Brazil is ranked number 1. Brazil has a lot of individual potential. They just don't have their shit together. They need a good coach. Scaloni is a damn good one. That's why, Argentina were able to really step up their game. The problem with you Europeans is that you have a superiority complex. You think of the rest of the world as backwards. Losing at penalty is still a defeat lol. It’s quite a shame that the mighty Europeans lost to the backward South America at penalty. Loris couldn’t even block easy goals. Japan were magnificent this year. Only thing they were bad at was penalty. Spain, Germany, Portugal lost to Asian teams. Only a few European teams played good this year
@@sluggishhollow2030 You are right on individual potential. Their problem is that they don’t work as a team, as I said in other comments. They are not shitty, but their style of football doesn’t work well vs European style with solid defence. You can’t approach head to head Slavs where they are taller and stronger physically (Gvardiol, Juranovic, Sosa, Brozovic are alle 1.80/1.90 cm x 80/90 kg), you have to keep the ball running at fast pace and never stop, like Argentina did. That’s why Argentina won with “ease”, seemingly, while Brazil struggled to do anything. Brazil needs to change both mentality (way too big EGO from each single player, not good in a team-game like World Cup tournament) and playstyle. Then and only then they can do something against Europeans. It’s since 2002 that Brazil struggles against Europeans, twenty whole years. They just don’t function against them and keep on trying the same shtick that just doesn’t stick. That’s my personal thought, I may be wrong, I’m no analyst. However it’s objective that Brazil is struggling against most European countries for 20 years now. 2026 will be the same if they don’t change something. As soon as they face an European team with solid defence, they are out.
Hi mate. Just watched that video now, a few days after result. Thanks for that, by the way - subbed! For me despite the result, Brazil still seems the best team of the WC. To be honest, that match against Croatia was just unfair - but thats why we love football, innit? Not sure about BR x Argentina, both teams quite strong as well.
Raphinha is Dembelé reserve player in Barcelona. Richarlison is Son and Kane reserve player in Tottenham. Rodrygo isn´t real madrid first choice, Paquetá is not at world class level in Europe, Fred is a very limited player, would never be first choice in national teams like French, Spain or England. (But in Brazil he is). Alex Sandro and Danilo are good players, but not even the top players in theirs positions right now, they are far from it. Marquinhos is top world class player... ok! But Thiago Silva , despite his good capacities, is already with 37 years old. I Think that many of us completely OVERRATED the capacities of the brazilian squad.
Brazil is a tactical disaster and that's why we didn't win a single world cup since 2002. Brazil always come as one of the favorites but that's only due to the quality of individual talents. Tite was a huge step forward compared to previous managers, but for international standards he is mediocre. There aren't any good Brazilian managers, and the only way we can win a world cup is by getting a foreigner one.

they didnt play this team, from that final 5 players in the starting team changed. Also they didnt play this tactics with two wide wingers, neymar was playing a false 9 at the time, that didnt work. AND that game was a 1x0, very though match with a goal of a individual mistake of the leftback Lodi(who is not in the wc squad). Now 2 games in the WC, we´re the only team that hasnt conceded a shot on goal, not a single save from the gk. The backline is solid.

There is not an argentinian central back alive who's better than Marquinhos or Thiago Silva. And Militão or Bremer would probably be starters in Argentina squad. The full backs are basically the same level. Argentina won the copa América playing a defensive and at times blantly violent (anti)game. And gave way more importance to the tournament since they hadn't won a title for decades, whereas for Brazil it was seen more as a preparation. So... Yup, hold on to that...

Can you make a tactical analysis on what happened today? 🙏🤯 Felt like they were missing an extra midfielder
uploading more frequently would be great love the content
Another incredible video, keep up the great work
So much work in the graphics and explanation!! Just awesome!! Subbed!!
I love how the automated captions gets Richarlison as "A charlatan"
Brazil or Argentina to the final.
Brazil is deeper, but in one game- can go either way.
In the other side France, Spain or England as a dark horse.
Argentina in final.
France dark horse lol
Would be nice if u analyze tactical analysis of major teams like portugal,Argentina,Spain
