The chitin that he is talking about is pretty unrelated to the medicinal chemicals. Each chemical will be different, so you may need to research individually. The pill/powder may be beneficial as is.
I believe the grinding process destroys some cell walls and also oxidizes the particles and also makes it easier for your stomach acid to go to work on the particles...but still may not be enough for total absorption.

Humans and mammals do have chitinases, so chitin is somewhat digestible beyond being an insoluble fiber. Plus your gut microbiome can digest it as well. I think there's more nuance to why cooking raw foods, particularly mushrooms, is important.

So if the mushrooms are basically indigestible when raw, or at least provide no nutrition, does that mean that mushroom pills/powder does not have any beneficial effects for you?
The chitin that he is talking about is pretty unrelated to the medicinal chemicals. Each chemical will be different, so you may need to research individually. The pill/powder may be beneficial as is.
I believe the grinding process destroys some cell walls and also oxidizes the particles and also makes it easier for your stomach acid to go to work on the particles...but still may not be enough for total absorption.
I like to see the slight smile and the shine in your eyes. You have every right to be proud of what you've accomplished. You inspire me. (Btw, I'm 52, and yes, you do inspire me.)
dude, you're fascinating. also, beautiful hair. and mushrooms.
I have learned so much from you. Thank you for your videos and your passion. I wish you all the health success in the world. You are a wonderful teacher.
Humans and mammals do have chitinases, so chitin is somewhat digestible beyond being an insoluble fiber. Plus your gut microbiome can digest it as well. I think there's more nuance to why cooking raw foods, particularly mushrooms, is important.
More nuance than anyone understands, so sometimes simple statements like "not digestable" are better.
I'm a new grower & I've learned more from just 1 of your vids than several others. You have a wealth of knowledge brother. I wish you well on your channel & travels.
There’s a lot of potential in psychedelics, I can’t wait to try any of them mushrooms specifically but it’s just so hard to find a reliable source over here, I’ll be glad if anyone can be of help
One of the most peaceful experience I've ever had..I really need to get my hands on some DMT
@@Neto37375
DMT is Earth shattering, literally.even after over a dozen mushroom trips ,it does me up. It is EXTREMELY powerful. everything I experienced was good, but when returning to this life and the way we live,I have become very disheartened with everything
@big stepper
The moment you started feeling this way you already having a bad trip..

@Jeffrey Hart

The Trips I've been having have really helped me a lot,I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well
Absolutely incredible. You really picked your field and ran with it. You're an inspiration to all!
Very interesting to see how culture has changed, 25-30 years ago I was growing them on oak logs in northern Pennsylvania, I did it as part of a forestry management process to use cull logs to produce a product, a lot of work with logs, drills, and inoculation pumps. I had a line of restaurants that took everything I could grow. Back in the day ..
We're still growing on logs in the woods!
Thanks for sharing..Great video.i am learning..Your work is rewarded.God bless

Love them too much. Been cultivating these too.
@@superman9693 Where did you get it?
@@saraqostahterra4548 Dutch smartshop. They deliver these things to Germany.
@@superman9693 Aren't they illegal nowadays? I live in Belgium, I could go to the Netherlands and buy some if still available there.
@@saraqostahterra4548 In Germany growkits with active mycelium are illegal. Ordering from NL is no problem, because there are no custom controls anymore (EU). Never had any trouble. These kits are fairly easy to grow.
