great single track ride. i think i'd have major arm pump on that one. i'd like to thank Charlie for hauling your bikes and setting up base camp! looking forward to more.
Great vid! That area through Idaho was my favorite section of the TAT. I think we camped somewhere near your spot kinda... maybe 15 miles down the road from Smokey Bar Store toward Featherville on the river. We sure didn't know about that single track though! Looks like the TDub did great... Nicely done man!
Finally! Someone speaking a language I can understand. Nutten like good ole boys riding bikes in the mountains. Loving every word of this trip. Did the ID BDR last fall and it’s my new favorite state,,,next to West By God Virginia.
That's right!!!! Nothin like it man!! We had an absolute fantastic time! Goal is to go back every single chance we get!! Thanks for watching! Complete playlist of the whole trip is up! Idaho '23!
I'm on it! Snowing like hell here in the high county of Arizona, so its a good day to follow your trip to the end. Riding up to the Arctic next fall and made a point to explore more of ID on the way north. Thanks from a transplanted hillbilly, and looking forward to more of your adventures.
@@rayfriend7450 Awesome! I hope to do a live feed soon or one of me discussing how we planned the trip and ending up picking this fantastic state! When I retire, I hope to have a place out there!! Keep the awesome comments coming. It was the trip of a lifetime!!!
Yes sir!! He knew the spots for sure! In the next one or one after, we'll head to his family mining claim at about 9200'. It was a magical place to put it mildly. Tough going to get to, but man, what a place
Awesome video! What sprocket set up are you running on your T-Dub? Did you tune the carb at at?? I’m coming from the Midwest around 1100’ above sea level wanting to take mine out west next summer.
Factory gearing on these, 14 and 50 I think is factory maybe? If it's a 96 or newer with the stock CV carb, you shouldn't have to touch it. We took jets but they ran great. We both are at less than 900' and have stock jetting. 125 mains. Koty had a small issue with his but it was a loose main jet on the emulsion tube. It'll be in a future video maybe half way through the series. We will really put them to the test in the next couple. Heading up to my buddy's mining claim got rough to say the least!
Thanks for watching. The TW is kinda in a group of it's own really. The big tires make it different than the XT in handling etc. I really like it. Very stable etc. The XT225 is really hard to beat with the 6 speed for longer road trips to the trail.
Looks like the tw was the perfect choice for those trails
They did great man! 1300 miles of Idaho dirt!
Y’all had me puckered up and I wasn’t even there lol. Beautiful place
Same here!!!
So epic, you guys surely got to experience Idaho to the fullest!
Yes sir!!!

Charlie was the MVP on this one!!! He took good care of us and had an awesome support vehicle!
