It always makes me happy when I look for one of these videos and she's actually singing instead of those wretched fake band/lip synching "performances". I'd get up and leave if a "singer" ever pulled that.
I don't think artists get much of a choice about that, at least, not often. Lip-synched performances save the bother of a sound check, so you can see why shows/venues like them. Corny, sure, but a fact of life.
I saw Belinda say 20 years ago at Cabot hall here in London, she was amazing.Uri Geller was there,no time to bend spoons, the gig was great with Kirk supporting ,i forget his surname sang They will never take me alive .x
I listen to Belinda songs by music device when I go out. I am listening to the songs imagining like her music video and her music live show. Then I feel like what I'm doing is recentley pretending like I'm the Belinda most of time. Is it just simply imagination of her performances or I'm the Belina kinda thing ? Actually I guess I have both of plays. Is it bad thing pretending like I'm the Belinda ? Listening to her songs and most of time for me it's inevitable thing and I know I feel awkward when I do that.
If only they all could have excised their demons and somehow stayed together as the GoGo's this would have been a HUGE hit for them as a band... same with Jane's Rush Hour
Probably the best live version of this song !
I liked American Bandstand's version better. Just search Mad About You American Bandstand on youtube. Just my .02
@@YouDontKnow-that Nobody played live on American Bandstand - Ever.
@@TonysMusic1974 Congrats Tony!
@@YouDontKnow-that What are you congratulating me for? I'm just providing information.
Oh geez check out Letterman - rocks!
Give it up to my ultimate crush. Belinda Carlisle is drop dead gorgeous here.
This is by far the best recording! This woman is so beautiful and sings like an Angel!
The keyboard sound just screams 80’s. What a great time to be alive.
she was gorgeous and loved her style and voice
Two besties putting on a great show!
Back when music artists played and with real talent.
Now its just T and A and no talent.
Having grown up in the 80s I am loving this.
For this brief moment in time, 1986, she was the hottest woman I've ever seen. The blonde shoulder length hair..jeeeez
For a lot longer than a brief moment.. she's easily one of the most naturally beautiful women of the last 60 years
@@wpochert totally agree! Even more with red hair! For ever Mad About Belinda!
yep, even in this horrible video quality, she looks amazing.
2:50 - love the way she kicks it up a gear.
She does that 'grunt' rarely on her singing for years. The way she sings Mad at 2:50.
Hard to describe it. But it always sound HOT.
Actually at 2:22 is when she really got into the performance.... call it nerves or insecurity.. it all went away in that moment
Beautiful Charlotte
Belinda Great Look! 😘❤️

You know it is live as the sound engineer could adjust the guitar and background vocals down a bit. Belinda was perfect!
Love the 80’s! If I could go back I would!
Funny that Belinda says she wouldn't ..Saying she did the 80's really well and that's enough :)
Maravillosa Belinda

haha wtf awesome
Mr Big's Pat Torpey on the drums. We miss you, Pat.
Had a few conversations with her in the 80's. 1000 times better looking in person if that's possible.
*Thanks for sharing it, shame on the sound check failing*
ya horrible mix
You can tell it got to Belinda early on... after the guitar solo though she just went off vocally regardless
great clip; love this song so much. Was this an early MTV show?

Why are you pretending to be her. You are a man. You're wasting your time being delusional.

Where's the rest of the band????!
That was the band. Belinda went solo, with Charlotte playing and writing songs.
Straight from the mullet archives.
Nice upload...Pat Torpey rip on drums...but Charlotte mic is too loud
Wow...nice catch on Pat Torpey!
...😬 ..I agree!!... they should have done a Soundcheck first!!!!???!!...🙄
Charlotte sounds awful here!
Totally!!!
It got better as it went along with more of the band singing backup.
Jesus who is running the sound board? While it’s great to hear Char, her vocals are WAY to loud
I don’t mind. Sounds like a duet. Live music.
Haha...BC totally dropped the ball; instead of "aren't weeeeeeee", she does "aren't weee-eeee." Take a breath, babe.
