Thx for the review, as well as letting us tag along while you were playing. I really enjoyed the gameplay, and look forward to its release. lol, I thought he was going to push your guy over the ledge too, lol.
I like this game very much, it's unique and beautiful, so i already bought it too! For me, the main issue is a bad or not enough technical optimization of the game. The game lags often, FPS slows down from 60 to 15 - 20 frames unexpectedly, sometimes the sound disappears, which is quite sad. I had the impression that with the release of new hotfixes, the devs fix past bugs / errors, but create new ones. Despite all the technical problems I’m waiting for the full game release.
This is the universe i was meant to alternatively exist in. Land of no leg day 😂

played this at a friends place as i didn't want to pay for this and glad i didn't pay for it. because this is not the game for me. not a fan of the combat system. i find it not very fluid and janky in parts. i'll revisit this at full release.
Diablo like games don't have anything to fear even though this is marketed as a Diablo style game. They are absolutely different in almost everything save for the fact that they are both isometric. This is an isometric souls like game, period. That's it. It is not a Diablo like arpg in the slightest. I am not saying it is bad but this is what it is. PoE and Last Epoch are Diablo like games. We need to get this out of the way. If someone for example loves PoE there is nothing to indicate they will like this game. My point is that this game has been marketed as something it isn't probably to get people to play it.
You didn't play the game yet did you? lol Don't be a hater, it's a great game, It's okay for diablo to "fear" a game and have competition. Kill enemy, enemy drops an item, that item could roll common up to a unique, I'd say that is a bit like diablo type games. You upgrade your gear from common to blue or purple, sounds like POE using orbs but this game calls it enchantment. You can add runes to your gear....Interesting. Tight inventory space, the list goes on. So to say it is ABSOLUTELY different other than being isometric seems a bit drastic. Other than that, Good times!
@@korbandallas8931 first of all I did play the game, that's why I can have an opinion. Secondly, where exactly did I say that it is a bad game? I did not say this. The game has a lot of potential, I enjoyed it but it needs improvements, it is not yet 100% there. I know, it's early access. The feel of the game however is absolutely different. In Diablo style games you have classes, skills, skill points and the combat is so much different. Also this game is a lot more complex, there are so many systems. These are some pretty major differences which make the core of the game which in my opinion matter a lot more than you kill an enemy and sometimes something drops. I enjoy the game, but I don't feel that it will replace the other games like Last Epoch etc. But there is no reason to choose only one of these and I did not trash the game.
