This is your first 'anything' in flash? Good on ya' chap. This is one of the better kinetic typographies on youtube. Good choice of dialouge too, I never would've thought of that.
@imlordxenu Hey thanks! Word of advice: plan out EVERYTHING. I knew exactly how I wanted this to look and move before i even got into flash. Spend most of your time on pre-production and everything should fall into place. Also, I made the entire layout in Illustrator and imported the file into flash. So don't limit your self with flash's tool set. Use whatever programs you need to in order to get the job done. Hope this helps!
I have to do kinetic typography in flash cs4 for a college project soon, any tips on what to avoid or ANYTHING in general would be very much appreciated , GREAT work btw.
heya how did you upload the SWF file onto youtube?? i really want to upload mine onto youtube but every time i convert it into a mov. file the animation doesnt run smoothly and the audio is out of time. Please help
Ok, but not great. It wasn't a very dynamic speech to begin with. The choice of colors was bland and the explosion at the end just didn't capture the essence of the weapon or the scene.

This is one of the best KT on UA-cam, if not the best. The only one that comes close is one of the Shaun of the Dead ones.

@AdobeExcel video copilot has a lot of great affter effects tutorials. Kinda had to learn flash on my own
