Q. Tell me about the work you did.
A. I can’t talk about specific cases, but I can talk a little bit about what I did. You know counterintelligence work is different than most people think of when they think of the FBI. FBI shows are completely inaccurate. I was doing a lot of surveillance. Tracking people, behavioral analysis, trying to flip people to work for the US government versus their government. We were targeting diplomats, people from other countries who are here spying for their country. We want to stop them from doing that and ultimately get them to give us information. It's a bit like what the CIA does abroad, but the FBI has jurisdiction here in the United States.
