- If you are researching different cam grinds for your 5.7L LS1 motor, this short video might help you out. This is a quick demo of the Crow Cams 871249 grind. Beautiful choppy idle, tons of performance, really brings the LS1 to life.

The 871212 is a great cam as well.

Very similar to my recent build
Although I went with a Crane cam based off c4b with a little tickle.
Very lucky the end result was 274 rwkw through my tired old auto .
Its actually an 871249 I run the crow 871223 in my LS1 which is a 229/235 112 theres video on my channel if you also want to hear what that sounds like as its a touch bigger.

@@GrouseGarage I researched cams non stop for 3 months before I chose mine and looked at yours at least 20 times that's how i knew the part number you posted wasn't correct.

I had the next cam up...871251 (from memory) Needed a small stall (2800) Drove like a dream, tons of attention. Wish I still had it really.
Thats not the next cam up its a 235/243 much bigger
