I absolutely love how your patterns go by measurements! It makes it so much easier to size for each child! Your patterns are just beautiful and I cannot wait to get started on a sweeter for my nephew who is only 7 months but wearing 12 month and bigger for clothing (he’s a big boy 😅)

I've checked your page several times but was nervous about crocheting a hoodie this way. A couple of days ago I decided to give it a go and not only do I understand the measurement way better now, I have just crocheted this hoodie in the size you used and it looks absolutely amazing. Great tutorial. I learned a lot of how to use the measuring techniques. Before, I wouldn’t make unless the pattern told me exactly the stitch count. Now I can figure the measurements to get the proper side. Thank you.

I always have a problem with sleeves when i do like this because its always big and bumpy at the underarm area...i always divide my starting chain by 4..so i have same number in all 4 sides...but finally this counting will solve it...thank you so much..so happy i bump into your channel

I am following your pattern for 0 to 6 months which is great, i really wanted to make this for 6 to 9 months but i found your maths difficult to follow, it would have been great if you could just give give chain count and institutions for different sizes. I will keep following to learn more. Thankyou.
Please show count numbers of stitches needed for baby cardigans in all sizes just leant to crochet last 12 months love love it .you are very inspirational with instructions cannot stop watching god bless you and family .x

I love your videos and the whole idea of using measurements. You can crochet along without having to track on a pattern. I have a question about the right and wrong side of the work. I’m making the same size as the video and stopping and starting at the same spots as you. When you start the hood on the sweater you indicate the inside of the hoodie is the right side. Do you turn inside out at some point or does it not make a difference. Thanks for taking the time to read my comment.

I have a question... on the measurement paper We can see that the chest measurement for a 0 - 6 months is 46cm, but you stop make chains on 36 cm. Why is that? It's because the button's part?

Watching another video of yours I understand why starts with the 36cm... the base for this measurement is the head circunference, not the chest measurement 🤭🤭

Managed to complete this sweater and quite pleased with it but found it difficult to follow the instructions especially the explanation of how to do the sleeves. I put this down to me being a relative beginner:
I always think of sleeves as the most difficult part... it is hard to show it as I have to twist it around all the time and it is hard to make out the stitches, hopefully you will find it easier next time 😁
What is the yarn you used in the first one you showed? The blue one that changes colour?
It is double knit yarn in colour Aqua Brand is " knitting essentials" and I think it is exclusive to DEALZ shops.

Yes the colours are beautiful 😁 I am sure you can find something simmilar , especially if you are in USA or Canada, it seems that there is a lot to choose from over there 😁
What size hook do you suggest for a toddler and older
I don't think a bigger hook will help in this case, I would suggest you make a bigger yoke😁 if you measure your child's head circumference and make a starting chain an inch or inch and a half shorter than head circumference you can count the yoke yourself ( as I do in this video) or you can send me the number of starting chains and I can count it for you .
I think you are amazing but I just cannot make sense of any calculations as I have a disability when it comes to numbers. I wanted a 3 to 6 months and am using all the same numbers as you so I don’t have to calculate anything. I am therefore using a size five hook and hoping it works out
