I'm really glad my UA-cam auto-played this video. I wasn't thinking Gen2 at all, and have been waiting to mass evolve a lot of the pokés I have caught during this event, and have hatched a couple of Eevees with my 10ks (which, I THOUGHT was disappointing before I watched this!). Looks like I should be saving my candies for...what, March? Thankfully, I do have over 100 Onix candies, like you, and, with nothing to do with them, looks like I'll be saving them :) Also, my son hatched two Scythers from 10ks in a row, and was super sad, but I had him watch this video and now he's stoked!

😫 When I first started playing GO, I HATCHED two Porygons, but that was so long before word of gen 2 came out that I used half their candy to power them up. The first item I got after a 7ds was an UPGRADE! You need 50 candies and the Upgrade. Really kicking myself now...

The closest Pokemon nest to my house is a Seel nest that's about an hour away in a car.
I don't even have a Seel because he's nowhere to be found where I live. You're lucky.

How do you determine IVs?
LuigiThe13th I have a real account that I don't bot with, but I use bots for other accounts that I sometimes sell or give to friends if they don't play Pokemon Go and the bot shows IV percentages. Otherwise, I'm sure there are other means of findings IVs. Some websites calculate CP after evolving a pokemon. I'm sure there's something like that which finds your pokemon's IVs! :)

Just a myth. Despite what you might here, buildings and specific locations not shown on the map itself don't spawn any specific Pokemon.
Victor Fallas Chansey is one of the best Pokémon to lvl up gyms with do to the high health pool

I don't know where you live where Scyther is rarer than Onix, but where I live, that's not true. Onix is extremely rare where I live and the only Onix I have is one the I hatched.
Same. Where I'm from, it's scyther/pinsir galore. I've never seen even the shadow of an onix before.
I live in Eastern WA, and I've never seen a Scyther in the wild. I've seen/caught 5 Pinsirs total (one might have been hatched), and 7 Onix - but Onix shows up in my nearby fairly often when I'm somewhere I can't do anything about it... So they are all pretty rare here.

You MUST walk with an Eevee as your buddy for at least 10k before attempting evolution for any chance of getting Espeon or Umbreon, making it "like" you as is necessary in the other games.

Actually he is right you need another slowpoke because slowpoke evolves into slowbro or sloking
Slowbro has a mega evolution but it does not evolve into Slowking. Slowpoke can evolve into either Slowbro, at level 37, or Slowking, by being traded holding a king's rock, so this guy is actually correct, another Slowpoke will need to be obtained.

If you nickname your eevee "pyro" for flareon, "rainer" to get vaporeon and "sparky" for jolteon (before evolving it), you will be able to control which one you get (I did it in all three evolutions)

There is like no nest near my house. My neighborhood is on a river and in my neighborhood I live the farthest from the river so it kinda sucks. This is why I go to Orlando FL and Atlanta GA because I get more chances to catch rare Pokemon near water because of the poke stops.
Tip: you catch more rare Pokemon if you are in a city with a beach and a bunch of pokestops. Other people will be putting poke modules on the pokestops so no need to worry.

Today i caught 2 masquerain’s 1,300 cp and a 1,220 cp , evolved all my eeves into vaporeon, jolteon flearon umbreon and espeon , and also caught a 1,900 CP HI-HO from a mystery research challenge and also hatched a shiny grimer! Havent had a pokemone day this good in a long time thanks for all ur help !

just a note about your failed catch of Abra. if you let go of the ball it drops to the ground and the pokemon doesn't move. Abra will only run away if a pokeball hits it and it breaks out. It's just a common pokeball so who cares about 1 ball... right?

As soon as he was talking about the Porygon one spawned near my house but i did not want to leave the house in the middle of the night. Then he started talking about how rare it is. It dissapeared. I ran. Got it and made myself look like an idiot for for running out of my house at night to catch a pokemon. Only caught one before so i know how random they are but i did not know about its evolution thats why i never bothered with it.

Well near me there is a building and the land is on is considered to be a park. And at one time Scythers spawned on it, so I got a few, hopefully close to enough, probably near a few more
But you get Horseas pretty easily apparently, so guess it's where you live

Gyms a day, it will make a huge difference
Got one of my Chanseys at the hospital when I go there and another when I hatched it. The spawns increase greatly when you are at a hospital.

If you live in Atlanta Georgia there is a Scyther nest in some parks in the cities near Loganville (if that's how you spell.) as long as the parks are surrounded by trees. I think the main nest is a football field/park near a vet & it starts with D

I've actually had trouble finding bulbasaur but found a venusaur and caught after a while as it kept getting out and my phone was one 1%, I was just glad my phone didn't go flat until after I got it
If u shake your electronic unless u have a computer u can catch Pokemon way easier idk it works when I do it my friend calls me crazy but it works way better for me anyways
