Guys, there’s one absolute rule for parenting: just when you think you’ve figured it out, everything changes!! My son is one and still there are moments where I’m like, “what do you want?!?! I can’t tell!!!” It’s a very normal thing so don’t stress that there are times when you’re just not sure what to do. You just get through it sometimes and then start again! You’re both doing so amazingly well!!
I cannot thank you enough for supporting give kids the world!! When we went on my son’s wish trip in 2015 we were told he was going back for heart surgery as soon as we got home. Somehow he started getting better and hasn’t been in the OR since. We were even fortunate enough to be married in the chapel at the village❤️
Love seeing the attention given to Give Kids the World, I got to go there with my family when I was younger. It is such a wonderful place for kids who need it most
LOL. You just described parenthood-perfectly. I have 4 children from age 14 to 34 and I’ll tell you the only rule I know is that there are no rules. Whatever works today probably won’t work tomorrow. All you can do is love them, love them, love them and then love them more. Ultimately, that’s always the answer. You guys are doing great. I’ve actually misted up watching you guys interact with Jackson. You have such love in your eyes, words and your hearts. It’s a beautiful thing to see parents who respond to a child like you two respond to Jackson. 🙂
Try putting a mirror on the seat where the carseat is so he can see himself in the mirror. See if that helps. I think they feel like they are alone when in the carseat when they can't see you or anything else.
You have great supportive fans. Your team have over 15k already and will be a driving force their event will be successful. Great cause and best of luck! Keep up the great work!
You guys are doing an amazing job of getting out there with Jackson while still being so in tune to his needs! That’s not easy but it’s great for all 3 of you!
My old high school would send a group of us down to Give Kids The World Village. I did that trip twice. It was super fun and awesome place for the kids and their families to get away for a while.
We loved our Petunia Pickle Bottom baby bag! It held up so well! Love all the home vlogs! Jackson is so precious! We enjoy seeing him. We know y'all are proud parents!
The more Jackson rides in the car the better he will get. My youngest struggled with it but was fine by the time he was 4ish months old or so. You’re doing everything right though. He’s so stinkin’ cute! Thanks for another great video! 😊
It's awesome your getting to know him and learning his tells and trying new stuff! For my first, he got really happy and like energetic right before his crash. So when he was having his up, that's when we had a fun little nappy change and and then started our wind down. Worked like a charm! Grandad was over and he was all like 'but hes not tired at all!!!' .....🤨 DONT GET IN THE WAY OF MY ROUTINE OLD MAN!!!! It works!
Babies will change and you are adapting to his behaviors. You are both doing great. You know his cues for when hes tired and you do what's good for him.
I learned about Give Kids the World from your earlier vlog when you visited. Last week I donated and set up a Give Kids the World birthday fundraiser on Facebook which was very successful. So thank you for sharing info on this amazing charity.
I love that one day Jackson is going to be able to come back to these vlogs and see himself as a baby! I’d be so happy if there were videos of me when I was that young☺️
You Guys are AWESOME!!! WE LOVE YOU! Watching Your vlogs makes Me feel like I have come HOME again! KUDOS! Where would We UA-camrs Be without Your WONDERFULNESS?!?!?! XOXOX
Those meatballs look so amazing. And I swear Jackson gets more adorable every vlog he stars in. The Christmas tree should be a holiday tree. Valentine's day you can put cut out hearts on it. 4 leaf clovers for St. Patrick's day. Plastic Easter eggs. Red, white and blue lights for Memorial day, Flag day and the 4th of July. Real and fake leaves for fall. Little pumpkins and so on.
Being a parent is ever changing, just when you think you got it figured out, he’s going to throw you a curb ball. Good luck in the amazing race Orlando, I’m huge fan of the Amazing Race , been watching it since the beginning.
Loving that you still have you tree up and light at the end of Jan. Also, the best hand lotion I have found is called : Udderly Smooth. Not greasy, soaks in, and not expensive. Available at Target/CVS, etc.
Babies sticking their tongues out are communicating. 😊😊 If you do it to him, wait for him to do it back. Take turns and you are teaching him how to respond /communicate with you. Beautiful. 😊😊😊
Omg I loved your conversation with Jackson! So stinkin cute 😊 also, I really appreciate your dinner portion sizes. Random but true....nom nom nom, give me all the food!
I totally agree about parenting being the hardest most rewarding thing we ever do...and my kids are 30 and 33 lol!!! You guys are doing great, Jackson is a lucky boy!!
Someone may have already said this but... in The Amazing Race there are challenges called "Detours" which are a choice between two tasks. The"U-turn" was a punishment that another team member might give you where you have to do both tasks in the detour (instead of only one) so a u-turn immunity is probably to avoid being u-turned which would save you time in the race. 🙂 love you guys!!
My family stayed at Give kids the world a few years back. Our son had leukemia when he was 12. That place is very magical. And a very relaxing place. Especially for the children.
I became aware of GKTW through the DIS, and support through them, but will certainly give something for your efforts as well (just did). They are SUCH a well-run and worthwhile charity!! I love watching the Amazing Race when it's on TV too. I actually watch it more as a travel show, to see where they go, 'cause they go to some really cool places! :) Ut oh - I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow, and now I'm going to have to keep myself AWAY from looking to obtain the peppermint and peanut butter pie Oreos! Why did you DO that to me????!!!! :) That diaper bag is very pretty,. Jenn - the other good thing about that "Perfect Man?" - he doesn't talk back, and you can bite his head off!! ROTFL. I Love those "chips" dog toys - precious! LOVE when you guys walk around stores, and make comments on stuff - I SOOOOOO want to go shopping with you some day!!! And I'm being serious!!! :) LOL @ Jenn withe the "cauterized cheese" and Tim with the "wooden spoon doesn't keep something from boiling over" (I agree!!). And I hardly ever serve anything "as is" Jenn, I alwyas put m own spin on everything, even if it's just a spice blend. I call it "Heidi-izing" it. :) Jenn - My BIL (who is Italian) actually calls ALL pasta "macaronis" (yes - plural!), and all spaghetti sauce "gravy". But then again, he's an idiot. ROTFL Those meatballs looked SOOOOO GOOOD!!! I will say though, Tim, I have found, as I get older, more and more things bother my GI system, and/or give me acid reflex, including tomato sauces - and I find the Bertolli brand to be extremely acidic. ROTFL at both of your comments during the "TJ Maxx haul" portion. Big hugs to both of you, Jackson, (LOVE to see him smile!!) and Big Brother Bandit!!
I ♥️ home vlogs. I also make too much spaghetti all the time. Once you figure out Jacksons schedule, he will change it on you. Yes, it gets easier as they get bigger until he hits the teen years, lol. Thanks for all you do 🙂
Even when they speak I still don’t understand my kids 😆 parenthood = constantly wondering what your kids are thinking 🤔 and never having it figured out
My son was granted a wish to Give kids the world it’s such a wonderful place and the people there are just the best. They make you forget about drs Etc and just enjoy family. 😍😍😍will be donating
Hey guys!!!! First time commenting and a relatively new viewer. I have a ten month old and I just want you guys to know that the schedule thing DOES get easier!!! The first two or three months with my babe was seriously a blur. Y’all are the sweetest happy family and you warm my heart with every video! ❤️ Also, it’s a BADGER GUYS COME ON
Meatball City makes me think of a restaurant my friend wanted to open years ago. Pudding Palace: all you can eat buffet of every flavor of pudding you can come up with.
Jackson is changing every day. He is developing his cute personality already. It’s so nice seeing him grow up. He is so cute and happy. You guys are doing great at parenting. Keep it up 👍🏻 I shave my cats and dogs often. Just have patience and keep reassuring he is okay. And give him treats every few minutes. It will be easier. Also. If you cover their eyes, they don’t see the clippers coming at them.
It's not too soon to start a bedtime routine with sweet Jackson. A quick warm bath in his infant tub, pajamas with some sort of sleep sack or swaddle, nurse and put to sleep! I've seen my daughter do this with both her boys, they are 14 months apart. They both have great sleep habits. Love your little family!
Try freezing the cheese before you fry it. It’ll take longer for the cheese to melt and give you a chance to cook the meatballs before the cheese melts.
Great video, really enjoyed it. Love feeling that I’m hanging out with you three. With my babies I found that a good bedtime routine worked wonders. Nice warm bath, big booby in our or their bedroom with just a lamp on, cuddle then down in their cot. Sometimes they go straight down and other times they would need more cuddles, singing or walking round but always in a dimly lit room with quiet voices. It did take a couple of weeks of being consistent but once they learnt that it was time for bed it was life changing! You are both doing such a good job, it’s a joy to watch. K x
A U Turn in the Amazing Race is when you have to do both Detour tasks instead of just one. If you have immunity that means another team cannot pick you to do a U Turn. Good luck Tim!!
Wow those meatballs looked amazing.Tim on the thumbnail i thought you was wearing a minions outfit to start with lol.So nice your backing that charity great channel guys 👍🙂🇱🇷
Hey Guys! Love to see how well the little Tracker is doing! Just a helpful tip because I did the exact same thing....the wooden spoon has to be in the physical pot to avoid over flow 😉
The wooden spoon/ etc has to be laying on the pot prior to the water boiling so it can sense it can't boil higher than a certain level. It does actually work
I think the trick to keeping the boiling water from coming out of the pot is by putting a METAL spoon or knife across the top...(the metal has to reach from side to side to work)...so if the spoon or knife has plastic or something at one end you have to make sure it is long enough to have metal touching from one side to the other!
I love how Tim's trying to get Jackson to say mama or dada but we all know his first words are going to be "And now it's time to pay the price"
Joe Victor 😂
Jackson's first words are gonna be "Home vlooooog".
John S. I was just thinking this! Or MONORAAIIILLLL!!!
Or king of the bus
Squirrel! 😂
Or holy macaroni!
He would do a fortnight dance saying home vlog
"It keeps getting easier, but it's still hard" is TOTALLY parenting in nutshell! You guys are doing so, so great. Love these home vlogs!
I got excited because I thought there was a new restaurant named “Meatball City.”
Same.
Me too
Lol!!
It wasn’t until they started cooking I was like ummmm...oh. Meatball City. Lol
Same.

I think I am loving the Home Vlogs more than the parks vlogs until Jenn returns to the parks too.
I cannot thank you enough for supporting give kids the world!! When we went on my son’s wish trip in 2015 we were told he was going back for heart surgery as soon as we got home. So good to see Jackson smiling and loving time with Dad. Tim, you spending that time with your son is so precious. Hugs to all of you!
OMG Jackson is SO adorable!!! And I know i keep saying this, but that baby won the parent lottery!!!!!!
Jenn, you hair looked amazing when you went to Tijuana Flats. Loving your home vlogs. Tim's Jackson tickles are so cute. Love to you all. X
Love when you guys promote charities, good for you for giving back and sharing awareness! ❤️
I love love love watching Tim & Jenn being a mom & dad
10000000% agree that parenting is the hardest and most rewarding thing you’ll ever do. ❤️
Not knowing what you’re doing will be most of your parenthood life 😂😂. You’re not alone
Jackson is growing so fast! He is so adorable! I can tell yall and him are doing great getting acclimated to life ( with a baby).
💖💖💖
Jackson is so cute.😍 The baby talk with tim was so adorable. 😍 love all the videos they are so awesome
Jackson is so cute!! Love seeing him. You will understand what he wants when he can say it. Lol. You guys are doing good.
Omg Jacksons little smile and talking is the most cuteness overload ever ❤
I'm so glad to see that I'm not the only one who still has my tree up. 💖😂💖 Jackson just gets CUTER EVERY DAY.
Home vlogs are totally my new favorite haha. Give me ALL the home vlogs!
Love seeing the attention given to Give Kids the World, I got to go there with my family when I was younger. It is such a wonderful place for kids who need it most
I’m so excited I get to watch this baby boy grow with you guys. So exciting!!

Jackson is getting so big!
Babies change literally daily (and grow like crazy! Lol). He's such a little sweetheart 😍💖
Tim with the yellowish shirt and the baby carrier made me think of minions 😂
U guys being parents makes me the happiest I’m soooo happy for y’all 🥺❤️
We loved our Petunia Pickle Bottom baby bag! It held up so well! Love all the home vlogs! Jackson is so precious! We enjoy seeing him. We know y'all are proud parents!
Tim : and we’re just gonna eat meatballs haha
Me an Italian with celiacs: welcome to my dinner
Hello fellow human with celiac disease
Italians with celiac gang👊🏻 did u know Italians are more susceptible to being gluten intolerant hence why there’s so many of us
@Lauren Ditri I never knew this! May I ask where you learned this? I want to learn more about it for a future trip
The more Jackson rides in the car the better he will get. My youngest struggled with it but was fine by the time he was 4ish months old or so. You’re doing everything right though. He’s so stinkin’ cute! Thanks for another great video! 😊
I love it that you still have your Christmas tree up! 😂
It works!
When Jackson is fussy, he's clearly trying to say, "why haven't you taken me to Disney World yet?"
David Cervera they’ve explained this, they’re worried about the high population of people and their germs before he has his vaccines
He has now. Yay ❤️
Babies will change and you are adapting to his behaviors. You are both doing great. You know his cues for when hes tired and you do what's good for him.
I see Jen’s face in Jackson, mainly his eyes!
lol when i see jackson, i see tim!
(Regarding Jackson and understanding him): In my case, every time I thought I figured my baby out, everything changed again.
That's because if you don't figure out which cry means what, your baby will actually change his/her cries.
velocity1012 I’m not just talking about cries. That was actually the easiest to figure out when he was tiny.
misschanty I agree with this because I feel like everything changes again every time I have my almost 13 year old figured out, lol! 😂
I learned about Give Kids the World from your earlier vlog when you visited. Last week I donated and set up a Give Kids the World birthday fundraiser on Facebook which was very successful. So thank you for sharing info on this amazing charity.
It's a badger! 🦡 Hufflepuff pride! 💛🖤
That makes me sad. I'm a Hugglepuff and saw the harry potter hangtag and still had no idea😂😂😂
I love that one day Jackson is going to be able to come back to these vlogs and see himself as a baby! I’d be so happy if there were videos of me when I was that young☺️
love you guys and this new adventure in parenting! You guys are killing it!
You Guys are AWESOME!!! WE LOVE YOU! Watching Your vlogs makes Me feel like I have come HOME again! KUDOS! Where would We UA-camrs Be without Your WONDERFULNESS?!?!?! XOXOX
It's a badger! Hufflepuff 💛🖤💛🖤
I thought it was a wolf 😂😅
Totally a badger
That’s exactly what I saw!!!! I’m a gryffindor though
I am going to find that. I’m a Hufflepuff all day. I didn’t know what it was lol
yes, that's what I thought! 💛🖤💛🖤
Home vlogs make me so happy 😍😍😍

Hello guys
🙋🏻♀️ I wanna see Bandit get groomed and all the spoiling of the Baby Bean! 🐶❤️
I thought tim was wearing a minions shirt in the thumbnail
Omg I loved your conversation with Jackson! So stinkin cute 😊 also, I really appreciate your dinner portion sizes. Random but true....nom nom nom, give me all the food!
One very lucky baby right there. Such loving parents x
I totally agree about parenting being the hardest most rewarding thing we ever do...and my kids are 30 and 33 lol!!! You guys are doing great, Jackson is a lucky boy!!
Being a first time parents is simply a classroom of learning your baby. So, trust me you will get it. #GREATJOB!
I volunteer at Give Kids The World. I'm going there tomorrow, and I'll be there from 11am-2:30pm.
La Chica Mexicana , I loved volunteering at GKTW when I did my Disney College Program!
La Chica Mexicana that’s awesome! ❤️
I wish UA-cam let you share pictures 😩. My 7 month old Jackson was just enthralled watching you two talking about your Jackson in this video 🤣
What a little cutie 😍 Jackson is all Jen when he smiles 😊
Someone may have already said this but... in The Amazing Race there are challenges called "Detours" which are a choice between two tasks. You guys are doing a fantastic job with babe Jackson and as all ways the home vlogs are amazing and I love every minute of them 👍👍👍
He is so darn cute. Thank you for sharing him with us ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My family stayed at Give kids the world a few years back. Our son had leukemia when he was 12. That place is very magical. And a very relaxing place. Especially for the children.
Jackson keeps getting cuter-how is that possible?! He started so cute!!
Hi Tim and Jenn and Jackson that's awesome of yu both thats so 😎 cant wait awesome video
Jackson is sooooo adorable! How blessed you are!
So happy that you took my suggestion about babywearing! Looks soooo good! Glad that he loves it.
I became aware of GKTW through the DIS, and support through them, but will certainly give something for your efforts as well (just did). They are SUCH a well-run and worthwhile charity!! Happy 2 month birthday Jackson! You guys are doing a great job with him. We were in survival mode for the first 2 months of our first child’s life.
Just donated! Such a great charity. I'm an artist and will be at disney in 2 weeks to check out the arts festival at epcot. Hope to see you there!
I ♥️ home vlogs. I also make too much spaghetti all the time. Once you figure out Jacksons schedule, he will change it on you. Yes, it gets easier as they get bigger until he hits the teen years, lol. Thanks for all you do 🙂

Dana Lamb I feel this way every day about my almost 13 year old... 😳🤷🏻♀️🤣

Oh my ❤ Jackson's little wittle baby sounds!😍 I'm due in April with my second and I am loving all the home vlogs!
Never catch up to the "home vlog" tune, Jenn. It sounds great as it is now, in rounds. In a few years, Jackson can add in a 3rd round.
velocity1012 lol, that would be the cutest!
Meatball City makes me think of a restaurant my friend wanted to open years ago. Pudding Palace: all you can eat buffet of every flavor of pudding you can come up with.
I can’t believe you guys are approaching 1million subs...I remember subbing way back when u had 20,000...So happy for you guys!! Jackson is adorable
He is sooo cute. I am thrilled for you both with the new family edition.
Yay another home vlog! Great to see how you guys are getting on.
im not the type of person that gets "baby fever" or anything but watching Tim play with Jackson in the morning warmed my heart right up
Jackson is changing every day. He is developing his cute personality already. It’s so nice seeing him grow up. He is so cute and happy.
You guys are doing great at parenting. Keep it up 👍🏻
I shave my cats and dogs often.
It’ll take longer for the cheese to melt and give you a chance to cook the meatballs before the cheese melts.
great idea, Courtney...never thought to do this!
Or use less cheese
Efrain Flores never. Always use as much cheese as possible 😂
Great video, really enjoyed it. Love feeling that I’m hanging out with you three. With my babies I found that a good bedtime routine worked wonders. The cuteness level is off the charts!!!
Jen is looking amazing!
A U Turn in the Amazing Race is when you have to do both Detour tasks instead of just one. If you have immunity that means another team cannot pick you to do a U Turn. Good luck Tim!!
Just donated! You're currently in second place - let's bring it, family! (You can see the rankings on the home page after you donate)
It does actually work
I love the home vlogs so much!!
You can bring the water up to a boil after adding pasta and turn off the heat and cover. Give it 5 or 10 minutes and check. Easy way to cook pasta
Home vlog, favourite vlog 😊
I think the trick to keeping the boiling water from coming out of the pot is by putting a METAL spoon or knife across the top...(the metal has to reach from side to side to work)...so if the spoon or knife has plastic or something at one end you have to make sure it is long enough to have metal touching from one side to the other!
