@@wardaddy7216 It has quite a few moments where my suspension of disbelief reached its limits. Before the final ova, which was a complete disaster, this was really the first arc where things didnt seem to make sense or have proper set up.

When they got their send off, it felt so earned. And to see Erwin all hyped up and absorbing the moment, that was the cherry on top.

@@mmenryu4976 Levi and Erwin disagreed on Erwin going in the mission. My interpretation of that look is that Levi realised at that moment, that this is Erwins calling, his sense in life. This is way more important to Erwin than Levi realised. Erwin really lives and breathes for the Scouts and the discoveries he hopes to make through them. This is why Erwin had to go, even at great risk for himselfn having just one arm. And Levi looked at him and realised that Erwin really needs to go and that was the only decision Erwin could have accepted. Something like that.

This episode is truly needed. I love watching our beloved characters chilling out and enjoying the moment together. Eren has definitely recovered since his meeting with Keith Shadis; he was reminded that each of them is special, and he could release all the pressures that had burdened him before. Even Mikasa enjoyed Eren's change of personality and let him have his moment with Jean. It's great to see that for the first time, the scouts are ready, and there were no surprise events that distressed us.
Watching Levi being alone just made me kind of sad. But Hayley, I really could share the same emotion that you had... I also had chills and tears in my eyes when Erwin responded to the great send-off by the citizens of the wall.
Again, i truly enjoy your reaction! Please let me give a suggestion : Don't hesitate to revisit parts that you may not have grasped well, perhaps the emotional aspects, character expressions, or factual data, or subtitles, or other details. Trust me, this will be very helpful.

the end credits is actually very creative imo
I have always thought of this episode as very similar to the Sylvan Retreat motif found in lots of Elizabethan theatre. Like how in Shakespearian tragedies there's sometimes a random act where they fuck around in the woods and have fun and find peace for a bit. It's a break between the heavy shit that alleviates the audience's (and characters') tension with some silliness and sentimentality before we plunge right back into the fire

This is my favorite version of Eren. He's got his mental strength back and feels hopeful. It feels like the audience deserved to keep him around for a little longer without having to throw more adversity at him right away. I know that's kind of the author's point but it couldn't have hurt to have some bonding time with him.

Most Japanese anime have part A and part B after the middle commercial, and although not always, there is also part C after the credits. Therefore, it is no good unless you watch until the To Be Continue message appears.I'm Japanese and can't speak English, so I hope I can understand it well.
yeah, they're aware about the post-credits scene, but that isnt really meant to be watched (otherwise it would be on the manga too), its just to create hype since (if you were watching this on emition) youll have to wait a whole year from one episode to another, but when watching it "all straight" createting that hype backlash since you have that scene still on your brain and will predict easely, more if youre as observant and smart as theyre, what will happen

In my opinion the next 4 or 5 episodes are the best of the show. It is hard to choose but, even though it isn't the end, those episodes are the culmination of many things, and it does not disappoint. Also those episodes have some of the most epic scenes in a show that is epic in general.
