I just found a hooded crows, I've been feeding its parents the last yr n I feel like they took it to be ..it was hiding then walked straight up to me ..with the parents watching, what is a decent died for a start for him/her..
I would let the parents take care of him. If you want to give him a treat (and the parents are ok with it), you can offer fresh pieces of corn, scrambled eggs, or Puppy Chow that has been softened in water. The crows I took care of were orphans in a wildlife rehabilitation center. I would never recommend taking in a baby who has a living parent. That would be extremely cruel and unethical.
Hi I found a young crow about the exact same size while I was working. I guess he was pushed out of the nest. I have had him for 4 days now. feeding him small pieces of cat/dog food I soften it with water. He seems to love it! Any advice as he gets bigger? I was thinking get worms and grubs?
mealworms would be a good option I actually rehab birds who are injured or fell from a nest. You can find mealworms or crickets at your local pet store
I LOVE the sound they make when they eat, it sends me into giggle fits. They're so cute.
fact: Crows are the best birds
Yes I appreciate you. I like crow's.

Sadly, most crows are underrated, like pigeons...
Actually crows are most beautiful.
Ohh my god, I remember that noise. It's like a combination turkey gobble and puppy mumbles
You really have a baby raven. Wonderful birds!
No, the baby is a crow and was rehabilitated at a wildlife conservation center and released with other juvie crows.
When the crows are nestlings we feed them puppy chow soaked in water. As they get older we add veggies and fruit to their diet.
Crow = Zonk.....you gotta love those birds

Do not give them large pieces of food. Give them small pieces at least they can swallow it.

Y all grey eyed crows liked that are crazy blue eyed are nicer?
keep it for pet they chase off other birds and hog feeders
Saw one the other day and realized helping it meant killing another animal.
