But Seb is washed these days and haven't seen his true brillance since his redbull days. Hes spinning and making rookie mistakes.
@@bevanmcnicholl2525 2015 and 2017 were some of his best years. Yes he made a few mistakes in 18 and 19 and in 20 he lost all motivation but in 2022 he’s definitely showing the ability of a 4 time world champion. He’s got 15 points in the 9th fastest car and is dragging that car to results. I have no doubt that he’d be fighting at the front if he had the car to do it.
@@map1526 Motivation is key man! I'm shitting on him and believe he isn't like his old self because of that. He wouldn't be the same unless he was given the mercedes Bottas got in 2017. He needs an easy car to learn that wont reflect Daniel from the last 4 years. He'll never get that car. Hes still making stupid mistakes and not performing close to where he should.
God I miss the sounds of these cars, this is by far one of my favorite f1 cars ever

On the other hand it would be cool to see an older car with an updated livery, like most promotional events these days. But the original is the way to go.

@@dylanburston7453 you’re not the only one who thinks like that. I myself don’t like it but can understand it’s due to sponsorship reasonings. While can make an exception for Red Bull cars and any of the V8 Ferraris from the early 2000s but doing it on a car from the 2000s jeez that hurts me

Man, I miss David Couthlard. He was a great professional, serious when needed and nice person outside the tracks. Really nice to see hhim back into a F1 car.

Incase you didn't know, this is Vettel's actual RB8 which was given to him by redbull coz he won the championship with it. Seb has been having this for years now. He even owned the ferrari sf15t but he sold it before 2020. RB8 and the FW14B are the only F1 cars he has now.

I was so honoured to be there this weekend; it was an epic moment for the ears; I can't image 20+ of them at the track 😍

I still hope they'll get a RB1 back on track, this V8 sounds nice but those old V10s were the pinnacle of F1 sound.
Living close to the Albert park Melbourne track isn't the same anymore when the GP rolls around :(

The sound of these cars really does raise your blood pressure in a good way... Beautiful, fast, screaming banshees.
Also much lighter and agile, which produced lots of spetacular overtaking moves. Even midfield drivers like Kobayashi were able to pull some impressive moves on the big names.
This was great to see. RedBull, please make your videos longer as I never understand why anyone wants to show their content as fast as possible. David talks about his multiple laps but yet we are only shown one lap :/ As a fan of F1 and RedBull I would love to see an extended version with multiple laps, radio chatter, more build up to his preparation to drive and maybe add in the mechanics back and forth action with the car for good measure. Just my two cents, otherwise great video. Thank you.

We live in the TikTok age where the attention span of most is 30 seconds.
@@davidferrick That's the narrative. Maybe a small percentage of younger kids yes, but that is because everything lasts 10 - 30 seconds, you're a product of the environment you live in.
We live in the times where a lot of F1 fans are quite casual and don't really care about technicalities and such. Red Bull just adjusts their content to match the target audience that will bring in the most views. That's just how it is if you want to be relevant on social media platforms. It's a shame, but if I was running a UA-cam channel and wanted to be succesful, I would probably also look at the current trends.
Obviously though Red Bull's YT channel is not it's sole money making buisness, hell, I'd say it's pretty insignificant. But I guess it's significant enough, perhaps as promotion of the brand, that they try to keep their content relevant.
