Be friends with genuine people, not just for music taste. It's cool to recommend something new but if someone tries it and dosent like it do not keep going out of respect
I just don't even mention my music or movie tastes to people. I watch horror and listen to metal more than anything else but I have never met a single person who is as into either of them as I am. So out of respect I just don't mention my interests much at all because I know no one cares, but I do wear my horror/metal shirts, battle jackets etc and if anyone I meet points them out and says they like them, then great.. But that hasn't happened yet..
I had the opposite. I listen to metal, of course & through my life I had people trying to make me quit & "cure" me; mostly with pop & rap. Made me hate both even more
Similar situation here because I wear all black and people constantly tell me to wear different colors sometimes they even recommend me certain clothes I shoud wear
Or worse is when you do like metal drumming or air guitar while in between sets at the gym (to take a bit of a breather) and you see people laughing at you. Why did I mention this? Because it's happened to me so many times.
I think the biggest problem people need to realize is the fact that other people have their own individual thoughts they don't have to like the same stuff that you like they can be completely different and still like the same kind of things but don't push things on other people let them make that decision themselves. Great message by the way I really enjoyed this video keep up the good work!
Most of the metalheads hate the ones who listen to pop, rap etc. but they ignore the fact that everyone have their own music taste. You can hate pop but don't hate the people who listen to it.
Story I don’t like pop music but I don’t judge a person on their music tasted and judge them more on their personality. I did meat a few toxic people who listen to pop though... it wasn’t a good experience.
Hi, just found your chanel, nice. As a female metal head in my 40-ies I tend to meet the metal pushers that for some reason think I'm totaly oblivous to the existence of some bands and I hate it. Like the other day I took my car to the car doctor (needed to order a set of new tires) and there was this guy in a Ghost t-shirt that noticed I had an old bathory shirt on (My favorite "today I don't give a shit how I look"-t) and he asked what Ghost record I liked best, and I just " hey dude I don't care fot Ghost, I think it's generic, boring radio metal".(I don't give a shit if others like them, just don't push it on me)..it seemed to offend him for some reason and he started to yapping about me being a fake as lady, just wearing an old t-shirt to look edgy or what not.....most anoying. Thr garage owner (after he walked away for a little moment to luagh his ass off) that know me quite well and know where I come from, firmly told the guy to back off. I hate people trying to push things on me and specially the type that get offended when you don't share theire oppinion ä.
That's pretty fucked up, he was asking you what your favourite album is from the band HE! had on his shirt? Not yours? You're not the one repping it.. So if you don't show interest in it then it makes sense. What he should have asked is what your favourite Bathory album is.. You know.. Because that's the shirt you're wearing!! Not fuking Ghost. You didn't even say that you don't know who Ghost is.. You clearly stated a valid opinion of them which from that he should have noticed that you are aware of them but you just don't care for them.. But he looked past that and got pissy just because you have a different opinion. Sad. I enjoy Bathory and Ghost btw. I like to wear metal shirts too, but I never try to quiz people on what bands they're repping or whatever.. It's just childish, gate keeping elitism. Especially in the way that guy did to you, makes no sense at all.
Another thing that needs to stop is all the hatred towards people who like Metal/Death Core,Hardcore, Rap Metal and Nu Metal and calling them “Posers” because they don’t listen to the same type of Metal or “True Metal” as the elitist call it. Things like that alienate newer fans and by not allowing them to like what they like and grow in to bigger fans you instead chases them away from Metal all together and leaves a negative impression on them.
Within the metal community there is this frequent thing where people believe you ought to love certain bands and/or worship certain albums or "you don't belong here." You can't have just listened to the albums in question and found them just not to your liking but still harbor great respect for what they are and their place in the history of the music. You have to HAVE TO like it, worship it. By doing this, they steer people away from the albums/bands that they are endlessly venerating, through no fault of the bands themselves.
Holy shit i get that so much haha Like people harassing you about certain bands i should listen to when i don't care about the band. It pisses me off so much now.
I’m a very diverse guy who loves listening to multiple genres and other sorts of entertainment that most people like. I’m glad that I know how to get into a conversation with a person base on their character and interests, so that it would be an interesting conversation somewhat.
Ugh I hate when people call others posers or criticize them just because they might not be into death metal . I like some heavy metal but for the most part I'm not a death metal person I do think that heavy metal does tend to get a bad reputation.
I adore black metal but not a humongous fan of death metal. I do like it quite a bit but it's just nowhere near as interesting as black metal, grindcore, doom, funeral doom or others.. Out of all the "extreme" metal genres Death is just the least interesting, least memorable one of them for me.
I think it’s so cool that you do all your videos in front of a pair of Iron Maiden posters. And I love the King Diamond artwork in the mix. I try not to be pushy towards anyone about anything, but I’m human and I slip up from time to time. I’m clearly interested in your channel, but I’m still learning about black metal as it is known. I like a handful of proto black metal artists.
I,am guitarded, my conversation always gets around to guitars somehow, so I try to remember not everyone is interested in guitars . Good point Blackmetal Werewolf.
A lot of it really comes down to maturity. I used to be VERY opinionated that I was always right and pushed my opinions on others but now that I've grown up more, a lot of that really doesn't seem to matter. I now realise that everyone has their own opinions and interests and we are all created differently. I am both a metalhead and a huge Marvel fan ironically, haha. Metal and Marvel have always been two of my biggest passions and I love talking about them. My wife is not a metalhead like myself, but she understands that it's something I enjoy and she supports it. She even has grown to tolerate some Extreme metal in the car during road trips because I haven't forced it on her. Being respectful and not a jerk can really go a long way believe it or not.
I know I'm several months late, but I like this video. You do got a point, just they like it doesn't mean they should push it to you to like it. I always wanted to try to listen to other metal bands but I was afraid of being judged of what music I listen to.
This is a great topic. I used yo be sort of a pusher. Not just in metal but in everything. I just get extremely passionate about things i love. But since I've had some self-reflection to do and i am trying to do my best not to be thst way. Now i just try one or two times to get someone to like something i like and then i leave it to them
I love the sharing aspect of this metal community on UA-cam. It's where I have been able to learn about some great new bands. However, I agree that pushing is never the way to go - whether someone is trying to push their favorite band or get you to hate a band.
Even though most of us ( i know I definitely am) have been guilty of being a pusher, especially being young & recently discovering a certain metal band or genre. Your video had hit the nail on the head. Even though I’ll continue to refer bands or promote my band to people, if people respond positive comments then I’ll continue if they don’t react or give negative comments then ok I’ll stop. Good video.
I use to push metal onto a friend in middle school. He liked Slipknot, so I started pushing death, thrash, and grindcore onto him. He didn't like it, but years later we started meeting up again, and he was into all the same stuff as me. During that time, I was also getting into old school hardcore and old school metalcore to switch my tastes up. Nowadays I'm more into all types of punk music (punk is just as various as metal, if not more, honestly) and punk helped me bridge back to my grunge days as a kid before metal, and now I'm able to appreciate more music than ever. But anyway, I started pushing hardcore and metalcore (and of course my jazz, rock fusion punk albums by Minutemen) onto my friend more recently. He grew to like Minutemen, because they're not metal, not exactly punk, but something totally different. Other than that, when ever I bring up hardcore or metalcore, he's not interested. I get it, but with some bands I've shown him that are basically metal to begin with, I've come to the conclusion that my friend probably just hates the hardcore/metalcore label that most metalheads hate without giving some of it a chance.
I dont push metal all the time But when i do I succeed Two of my friends who HATED heavy metal and laughed at me for liking it are metalheads now because i can be very persuesive about it
@@nathanpeterson7387 like i see why you might think that But they paid 120 dollars for a concert last summer So its a bit much for being nice to a friend
Completely agree. My sister is completely into kpop and used to push it into my face a LOT. That's why I refuse to be a "pusher". We've gotten along fine and we recommend each other songs that we like even though it's not really our style. I think that it's nice to take interest in other people's interests. It validates them and they associate you more positively, too. So even though I don't know marvel much, I checked endgame out because everyone was so into it. Also I don't really care about football but my brother does, so I follow it. There's a difference between coworker and family and friends obviously, but it makes people happy to talk about their own interests and you just need to take a little bit of time out to follow the latest news. So I agree, don't push your opinion onto others, but also take others' opinions seriously and listen to their interests.
In my opinion Heavy Metal is a calling. It’s something you either like right away or do not. I only show it to someone once and if they’re not into it that’s when the conversation stops.
Man that Babymetal guy reminds me; Last Summer we had a bad ant problem in our house. At one point it became such a problem that they infested our PS4. So my boyfriend and I went to the store to buy some ant traps, and were discussing the problem with each other at the checkout line, where the cashier overheard us. And every single time since then, a year later, whenever I've had the same cashier at the store, he will without pause, ask if I have ants in my PS4 still (I don't). Obviously not exactly metal related, but if you want to talk about pushers, holy shit. Which is worse, being known in town as the guy that had ants in his PS4, or being the guy that a year later has to keep asking about it?
It's like with WWE, overpushing wresters or pushing a wrestler the fans don't want at all. Examples: Charlotte Flair, Roman Reigns, Jinder Mahal, etc. Nobody wants someone or something shoved down their throats if they don't want it.
I think I might have pushed a little on my rapper friend who likes some metal. He's open minded, but he only liked one song I shared. Witchfynde's "Give em hell". So I'll take the hint, thanks for this brutal video.
That's pretty particular for someone who is into rap music, since .Witchfynde is more of an acquired taste, even in the metal community.. Not trying to "push", but if it's the riffing that did the trick I'm pretty sure he would like "Death Or Glory" and "Stronger Than Evil" by Heavy Load. Still not pushing, no sir. Hahaha :D
this is funny cause I told my old friends about how Im into metal a while ago and they expressed how they hated it, a year or two ago they started actually liking the stuff (despite they only listen to Nu-metal lol) its just funny how they were actually able find a part of metal they enjoy after so long.
I used to work with a guy like that not Metal but constantly pushing rock music (which i do like) movies, books, etc just mostly I wanted to check out in my own time but once he started it was literally EVERY single fucking day he’s go on about it & I couldn’t avoid it at the time i was in a small open planned office, apparently he knew what everyone should like ugh, other than that he was nice enough, somethings he did suggest i did like but other times i just weren’t into it & he almost seemed like he got mad when I didn’t like something else he suggested. There was another great guy we liked same classic rock bands like zeppelin, deep purple etc but he kept pushing more & more obscure bands which some i found not my taste, but in his words he wanted to get me to listen to better stuff than “that metal shit”
this happened to me with an ex once who was _obsessed_ with Kpop, and constantly gushing about them and how attracted he was to them. We would switch listening to music on our bus commute with shared earbuds to share our music. I'd play good and classic Queen, and he'd play his stuff. I tried my best to just go along with it or whatever, I never said anything rude about it to him. But on the other hand, he fuckin hated my love for queen. The "worst" thing I even said was commenting on how Roger Taylor's 'prettiness' and he'd say immature shit like "then go love him instead." And in my head I'd just be like "uhh the fuck??". But yeah. He had a lot of diagnosed mental issues and the relationship was shitty.
As a metalhead I dont push it to anyone however I do ask them if they're interested in it and if they are i recommend bands/songs. I listen to a variety of genres so I'm pretty open to music not just one :)
Great video. I've felt the same way when it comes to friends that talk about anime and video games. The only time I've felt this way about music was when I had a friend who was really into black metal and tried to shove bands in my face. Granted I don't hate the music, but it's just not the kind of stuff I like to listen to. I don't have any recollection of any time I might have acted like this with things I like, but I hope I didn't piss anyone off as bad. I have Asperger's Syndrome, and one aspect of it is talking a lot about a particular thing you really like and you don't even realize that the person you're talking to might not be interested. This reminds me of a video I have on my channel that I made last year called "How to Recommend Bands to People". One thing I talk about is another friend I have that spammed a bunch of page invites on Facebook for bands he likes, and I had to tell him to stop because that isn't gonna make me want to check the bands out.
I hate it when people push anything on me so I’ve never tried to push metal or anything into anyone because it’s annoying as shit I’m happy to talk about music with anyone but if someone’s not into it I’m happy to change the subject completely
I had a coworker who is into country big time and well of course I'm a metalhead as soon as she found out I hated country she just about flipped out and told me she was gonna make sure I liked country by the end of the month so she always played country and that actually made me hate it more lol
That logic makes zero sense to me. Why the hell do some people think that making you endure more of something you already said you don’t like is somehow going to make you start liking it? Do they just assume that you haven’t ever actually watched/listened to it and just formed an opinion out of your ass?
Personally, I've grown up with metal and my younger brother likes hard rock and pop but ya know gotta deal with it, it's cool when he asks what the new band is on my battle jacket every now. When it comes to friends I'm just not a very social person so I have my two friends I've had for years and one likes pop one likes rock and soul and the pop one dresses "normal" I guess while the rock one will sometimes wear band tees but she basically looks like an e-boy and I look like a metalhead with the arm bracers, battle jacket and bullet belt so when we go to town together we get a lot of looks.
I'm very guilty of being a metal pusher I try not to be but I have a hard time fathoming that some people don't like metal I can see why so people don't like death metal but all metal that's crazy to me but I know some people don't and that's fine but I'm smart enough to not push woman into metal I get laid
I had this friend whom I got along with at first because she was also a woman that was into metal. But eventually she just started shitting on my music taste whenever the topic came up. I would buy a an album of a band she doesn't like and it's just "why would you do that? It's stupid its a waste of money bla bla bla" needless to say we aren't friends anymore.
I’m somewhat of a metal pusher but only to those who try to push their music onto me mostly the ones who like pop, rap, country etc cause somehow they think they can get me into it so I push metal onto them eye for an eye thing lol
I've been a metal pusher for like a year. I had just learned about metal and was excited and stuff. And so I tried making my friends like it but the worst thing is that my friend is from these dudes that does like he enjoys everything you do like and enjoy so I acted the same way for a long time until a person I wanted to be friends with just tree me off. So that's my story of metal pushing... Hope I'd realize it sooner..
Oh god, they're the fucking worst. They're like the Jazz snobs of the metal world, lol. And whenever I've mentioned that thrash is one of my favourite sub genres, they never miss a chance to mention how much more tEcHnICaL prog is, act all elitist and 'tfw too intelligent' as if I'm some uncultured pleb who is totally ignorant of music theory. They really shit me right off.
@@AnnaKraft97 WTF jazz snobs? Is America that retarded? Tastes are tastes indeed, but come on it's not about technicality at all. There are certain genres of music that are more intellectual and that's it. You don't read philosophy if you can't even understand Dr Seuss. But that's fine! There's music for everybody. You are free to listen to whatever you want, as long as you don't denigrate my own tastes. Maybe it would be better if we all listened to actual intellectual music but we don't, so hard cheese. What "jazz snobs" feel is frustration, because they can play and write everything - much like classical musicians - yet other people talk trash about them. Be it because of ignorance, be it because of envy or whatever reason you find. It's funny because at least in my country famous pop singers still have session and live musicians, and they're all jazz and classical players. Also this whole "LmAo LeT mE lIsTeN tO wHaTeVeR i WaNt" makes sense if you already know what a person is talking about. If you're not even a bit, just a little little little bit curious BEFORE you get to know the matter of discussion, than you're just self centered and boring as fuck. Just my two cents.
@@Celio19891 lmao yeah especially Tool fans, I love Tool, but their fan base can get pretty cancerous, even more cancerous than those 13 year old edgy Slipknot fans.
I've met at least a couple of metalheads trying to push me out of Metallica "but they're sell outs" "but they're not the same band anymore since Justice" So? Metal's just fine and still chugging along nicely. They're the band that got me into metal, but they're not the only ones I listen to either.. Btw great vid and good to find another metal channel! Subbed!
I think I'm guilty about this one. My crush likes BMTH, AA, PTV which I don't like. I told her it's not my thing, it's too mainstream and I said "it's not really metal" unlike the oldschool thrash, death, and black metal genres. Poor me. Hehe lesson learned not to be too honest/bold into a conversation.
@@clownworldhereticmyron1018 you are getting it misconstrued. Honesty by no means rules out politeness (one of the stupidest things I've ever heard, no 🧢). In fact, by not being honest you're likely to lie, give false hope, etc. By being honest you let ppl know you ain't fucking around. Honesty is a sign of respect
haven't really had this problem with music, but a couple of my friends did this to me with an anime a while back. I watched a few episodes of it, it wasn't my thing, but they just kept on telling me in detail about all these characters and plot points and trying to get me to watch more of it. like.... I tried, I'm just not into it, I'm sorry 🤷🏻♀️
It's like this one customer at my job and he likes talking to me about classic cars (I like looking at classic cars, but I don't want to hear every single detail about the vehicle itself). I totally agree with this topic, though sometimes it's hard to do..including if the person that your working with doesn't say or do anything to send the message across to you that don't want to partake in whatever conversation you are talking about
I feel like a lot of metalheads who got into it early pushed it on other people, metalheads always feel like they have to push and protect metal to others and that’s not the case
I will admit that I am guilty of pushing my music tastes on my friends and family whether I was joking or not. When I came to the realisation that I was doing that I did my best to make sure I didn’t continue doing because I realized that what I was doing was rude.
Great video! I never really considered my self a "metal pusher" but have made recommendations in the past to people who are into the same music I am. Some people like it some people do not and although I do express disappointment when they dont dig what I recommend I let it go and move on. I have been on the receiving end when people try to push their "beliefs" onto me and It down right makes me feel uncomfortable so I can only assume its the same with music tastes. I remember 8 years back I met my current boyfriend who (at the time) was completely into thrash, power, & glam metal. I also love the same bands he does but as soon as i recommended black metal bands or even bands like Amon Amarth he gave me a "nah, i am good. I dont like that type of metal". He didn't even give it a try the douche, lol. I didn't push it then and to this day I dont push it. You'll be glad to know he made his way to Amon Amarth and Black Metal altogether a year ago lol on his own. I just left him alone and let him find his way to me.
My friends may think I'm a pusher, but I'm really not. I try to introduce them into it, and I try to show them that the stereotypes they believe aren't real. I don't actually force them to get into it, though.
I will always tell my Metalhead friends about a new band I’ve recently discovered, like “Hey, guys, I just heard (album) by (band), and they’re incredible!” Or “If you like (sub-genre), go check them out!” Give a positive opinion to encourage your friends, but it’s like what you said. Hassling somebody is the quickest way to guarantee that that person is gonna resent you. I usually only snark or bitch about bands with people I know who also can’t stand those bands.
I was a metal pusher. I'll admit it. Ive changed. Sure my room is covered in posters and music equipment, but I don't push it on people. Especially when you want customers for your music tracks. I'll also admit, I do like some Michael Jackson, but that's kinda universal. When I get bored of metal, I listen to some rock and MJ. In conclusion, I have no clue where I was going with this. It's 3 am. Thank you.
I don't remember ever being a metal pusher, but I was anti-everything that wasn't Metal when I was 14-17. Now though, at 25, I listen mainly to metal, but also anything that I find that I enjoy, but I can't stand rap/hiphop/rnb and that stuff, but I don't care if others like it. It's for them, not me.
I used to talk about metal with my cousin and eventually I started pushing metal unto her because I had a distaste on her music perferences(she listens to Paramore, fall out boy, green day...you know those types of bands) and wanted her to enjoy my kind of bands(Metallica, iron maiden, king diamond,Exodus) and would do it on multiple occasions....I stop doing that years ago because I noticed she wasn't interested and she changed the subject.at least me and her talk about other things likes horror movies(I know it's ironic) which she really enjoys.in a completely different story I have metalheads friends so when I end talking too much about metal too much they change the subject...I think you have to figure out the right balance on a certain topic and observe people and see if they are into it
i am a "i swear on my grave that the type of music i listen to is the best thing in the world" type of guy. but than again, i would never really impose my taste in music on anyone(by playing it publicly or anything).
Probably a lot of people have had a metal pusher phase, especially if they got into heavier music in their formative years. I know I had my "not like other girls" phase as a teen where I thought my music taste somehow made me superior. The important thing is that we can acknowledge that and we're no longer like that. It's unfortunate when people don't grow out of that. Maybe you should say something to your friend...
This is great. Definitely something I've encountered a lot, the best story is I used to work with this guy for 3 years who had severe autism and he would only talk about slayer and metallica, everyday all day he would talk about slayer and yell lyrics etc. The same 5 things about slayer the same lyric excerpts. Obviously everyone hated him and I just felt really bad for him but I still can't listen to slayer because of him
I don’t lake to push people into something. He only time I talk about it with someone who isn’t as familiar is when they say their looking into it. Even then, it’s not all that excessive.
In my friend group, I do it kind of as a little joke (since we are all like that), I act like the stereotype that I am this metalhead elitist, but they all know it's a joke. I maybe was like this when I was a kid (particularly with video games before I got into metal which I regret that attitude), however when it comes to the subject of music my taste is luckily diverse enough where I don't listen to just metal. so if one friend wants to talk about alternative rock or progressive rock, I can talk about it in depth because I am into it as well. If it's punk rock in the case of another friend I can talk about is well since I am into punk rock. If it's singer-songwriters, I can talk about it as well since I am also into many artists of that type. Admittedly with mass-appealing pop music of the last few decades or rap (which I am also getting into I know I know I will stand on trial for treason later) that's where I start to not really follow since that is not what I am into. Really through this long post the idea is try to expand yourself when it comes to topics of music, or other topics, not only for yourself (cause u never know u might find ur new favorite thing that isn't metal) but also to help in many different scenarios.
I was on the train the other week and this old man sat infront of me and i had a cradle of filth top on and he looked me up and down and basically started insulting me for like 30 mins pushing music like the beetles on me and it was so fucking uncomfortable coz i was with my mum who ended up joining in sayin she likes this horrible screaming shit
Funnily enough, if its clear that you like metal (clothing, hair etc) your friends could automatically ask you to recommend metal. Happened to me, never pushed my music taste onto anyone and couple weeks ago my friends asked me whether I could recommend them some metal songs.
I send my wife videos from time to time. But that's because she has eclectic tastes. She even surprised me by mentioning she has Amon Amarth on her playlist at work.
Can completely relate where the Marvel movies are concerned. It’s not like I absolutely refuse to see them (if I’m at a social or family get together and someone suggests we watch one I’m generally down with it) but I’m not the sort of person who rushes to the theater and puts down a lot of money to keep up with what’s going on in the story. I don’t have that big emotional investment in it, I’ll see the movie whenever I get around to it. Unfortunately I have this cousin who can’t seem to wrap that concept around his head and always acts bewildered whenever he asks if I’ve seen the new Marvel movie yet and my answer is no. This is usually followed by a few minutes of him hyping up the movie to me and urging me to watch it when I get the chance.
The only person I talk a lot about things I like to is my wife, even though a lot of the time I know she's not interested.. But I only do It a little every now and then and I don't expect her to like whatever I'm talking to. Even though she's usually not interested she's usually just happy to hear me out because she knows it's something I'm passionate about and wants me to be happy. But when it comes to my friends and family who couldn't care less about metal or horror I usually just don't mention it at all unless asked.
You know, I feel most people are this way. I know I do. I'm really trying to be better at it though. I'm at the point now that I don't try to talk about my interests anymore though. Just easier.

Story I don’t like pop music but I don’t judge a person on their music tasted and judge them more on their personality. I did meat a few toxic people who listen to pop though... it wasn’t a good experience.
Every pop person I've met talks shit about metal no respect
Fans often destroy for their beloved bands. It's a thin distinction between being enthusiastic and being zealous.
Music is so personal so I also hate someone trying to push their music on me. Nope.
Holy shit i get that so much haha
Like people harassing you about certain bands i should listen to when i don't care about the band. It pisses me off so much now.
I’m a very diverse guy who loves listening to multiple genres and other sorts of entertainment that most people like. I’m glad that I know how to get into a conversation with a person base on their character and interests, so that it would be an interesting conversation somewhat.
or extreme metal pushers, if you dont listen to alot of death or black metal they will push it on you.
So elitists?
Ugh I hate when people call others posers or criticize them just because they might not be into death metal . I like some heavy metal but for the most part I'm not a death metal person I do think that heavy metal does tend to get a bad reputation.
I adore black metal but not a humongous fan of death metal. I do like it quite a bit but it's just nowhere near as interesting as black metal, grindcore, doom, funeral doom or others.. Out of all the "extreme" metal genres Death is just the least interesting, least memorable one of them for me.
Great video sir. So you want me to send you the new Baby Metal on CD or Limited Vinyl? LOL
LoL.. would you like to give Deepest purple a listen?

I think it’s so cool that you do all your videos in front of a pair of Iron Maiden posters. And I love the King Diamond artwork in the mix. I try not to be pushy towards anyone about anything, but I’m human and I slip up from time to time. I’m clearly interested in your channel, but I’m still learning about black metal as it is known. I like a handful of proto black metal artists.
I,am guitarded, my conversation always gets around to guitars somehow, so I try to remember not everyone is interested in guitars . Good point Blackmetal Werewolf.
That shirt is so damn metal
I dont push metal all the time
But when i do
I succeed

Protect yourself and your metal brothers. Make them understand that most of the stereotypes are false, prove them wrong!
Totally different thing. Still waiting for Jinder vs Brock
Like fucking Brock Winning mitb
Am I the only one, who thinks County Music Werewolf would be really funny?
Maybe as a next year's April Fool video.
Hahaha :D
Songs with groove or a rhythm that's catchy, usually get the attention of people into genres like that.
this is funny cause I told my old friends about how Im into metal a while ago and they expressed how they hated it, a year or two ago they started actually liking the stuff (despite they only listen to Nu-metal lol) its just funny how they were actually able find a part of metal they enjoy after so long.
Yes I had metal heads try pushing the nu metal on to me, like Korn, rage against the machine, etc bands that I don't care about.
4:21 I died at that moment! On another note, I'm definitely guilty of being a "metal pusher".
I’ve never met a single metal pusher in my entire life. I just get into every Metal band I like. Simple as that
Great video.
At 7:21 that’s how I feel about a lot of mainstream artists, they’re always being pushed on everyone so I tend to not like them, pop artists mostly.
@Antonio Viera seriously I fucking hate it... I love all kinds of music just country is a no
That logic makes zero sense to me.

Everybody’s different right?
I never realize how much I do that even about basic things as well. Its a habit I need to break. Been working on it.
I only talk about what I like when it's part of a relevant conversation unless I know the person has similar tastes.
I'm also a cat person and I don't force people to like cats either. But it's fun to meet someone with similar tastes.
I’m somewhat of a metal pusher but only to those who try to push their music onto me mostly the ones who like pop, rap, country etc cause somehow they think they can get me into it so I push metal onto them eye for an eye thing lol
I never push anything. I merely try to share if somebody has similar tastes, but if they don't seem interested, I leave it alone.
I really love these videos. Awesome topic.
When are you going to record some new videos?
My bro in law tried to push Classical music on me
I told him to back off,I 'm not interested in it
For me it was the Prog pushers; i just don't care about the genre
No surprise there. I actually love a lot of prog but hardcore prog fans are easily some of the most arrogant people that exist in the music fandom.
Celio19891 true, i only get “arrogant” about metal when people say metal is shit
It's 3 am. Thank you.
Also it's annoying when people say "you can't like metal" or thry say "if you like metal you can't like *insert mainstream metal band here* "
im guilty of this too. acknowledgement is the first step to fixing it.
I used to talk about metal with my cousin and eventually I started pushing metal unto her because I had a distaste on her music perferences(she listens to Paramore, fall out boy, green day...you know those types of bands) and wanted her to enjoy my kind of bands(Metallica, iron maiden, king diamond,Exodus) and would do it on multiple occasions....I stop doing that years ago because I noticed she wasn't interested and she changed the subject.at least me and her talk about other things likes horror movies(I know it's ironic) which she really enjoys.in a completely different story I have metalheads friends so when I end talking too much about metal too much they change the subject...I think you have to figure out the right balance on a certain topic and observe people and see if they are into it
Some metalheads don't even realize they are being metal pushers with their taste in metal bands.
i am a "i swear on my grave that the type of music i listen to is the best thing in the world" type of guy. but than again, i would never really impose my taste in music on anyone(by playing it publicly or anything).

I thought this was Country Music Werewolf.
Ok so now we all must send you babymetal CDs then
Funnily enough, if its clear that you like metal (clothing, hair etc) your friends could automatically ask you to recommend metal.
Thank god there more people out there that have the avengers movies
Exactly! I hate pushers and I never ever push anything myself.
Dragonlord rules! I also love Eric Peterson’s work with Testament 🤘🏼
Will you ever show of your Black Metal wall?
>free on netflix
except the 10$ monthly subscription or do you mean that first free month?
The only person I talk a lot about things I like to is my wife, even though a lot of the time I know she's not interested.. But I only do It a little every now and then and I don't expect her to like whatever I'm talking to. Even though she's usually not interested she's usually just happy to hear me out because she knows it's something I'm passionate about and wants me to be happy.
But when it comes to my friends and family who couldn't care less about metal or horror I usually just don't mention it at all unless asked.
Hey, do u like BOXES?
You know, I feel most people are this way. I know I do. I'm really trying to be better at it though. I'm at the point now that I don't try to talk about my interests anymore though. Just easier.
i used to be a metal pusher, and it was really dumb back then luckily everybody change with age...
I thought a pusher was someone who sells drugs so I got soo confused at the beginning
