Play pokemon reborn, pokemon insurgence, or pokemon rejuvination. Pokemon insurgence is the only one that was completed out of the 3 and has a darker storyline. Pokemon reborn is darker but isn't finished yet. They are currently working on the post game right now. Insurgence is also in development and has some mechanics that feel that nintendo stole from them. Certain areas of the game will affect moves causes them to increase/decrease in power, change type, or even change the battle field. For example using a special attack fire type move in the forest will set it on fire which will damage every pokemon every turn. Using surf or muddy water on the poison field will turn the moves into poison type. Sound based moves will cause falling rocks in caves, weak water type attacks will straight up evaporate in volcanic terrain. Every gym as a type specific terrain. This was a small team of people who don't do this for a living. It took Nintendo four years after they implemented it to steal the idea and make a worse version of it with less variety.
Edit: insurgence is a pokemon game with actual villians that finished. You fight against cults and its gimmick is delta pokemon. Your starts are a delta charmander which is a dragon/ghost and is a skeleton with purple flames. A fighting/dark type squirtle that looks like a ninja turtle. A fairy/grass bulbasaur, or an eevee.

As a goth, when I first played Pokemon Black and white and saw Gothita I was like, 😑 perfect, just perfect.
As a goth, I legit groaned at the obvious overt stereotypical gothness of said pokemon line and eventual sexualization of the final evolution.
Gengar will always be the best goth pokemon.

Technically they can make any future things harder to make but that would cause trouble. Last I heard they have the say on what could be called "Pokemon"
I think they have at least SOME say. If they didn't, I have little doubt that The Pokemon Company would've already abandoned Nintendo's systems and gone 100% mobile long ago.
@@YamatoFukkatsu Game Freak stripped them of their operating power nearly 20 years ago. Nintendo doesn't even publish the games in Japan. TPC does it themselves.
The only thing Nintendo handles is international licensing, which was the reason Game Freak had them join the three-party venture in the first place.
As Game Freak is an indie developer, they cannot afford to go international themselves.
