Hey! Creator of Pokemon Stranded here. I am so glad you enjoyed this game, and most of the comment section is nice too. Thanks for the showcase, really means a lot! I intended to make something different compared to usual Pokemon games/ROM hacks, something equal parts wholesome and equal parts dark. Seeing people enjoying the things in the game makes me a lot happier. The community support is fantastic even if the fanbase is small and development is slow. Thanks once again!
P.S. You have done a good job summarizing the key highlights from the walls of texts! But I would still encourage people to read the dialogues because there are many hidden easter eggs in it!

After losing a pokemon to ninetails you recieve your pokemon back going to the border and talking to the pokemon there tho
I find it crazy how large developers don’t see these sorts of rom hacks and decide to contact the team or person who works on these. To me it seems like they would be a great addition to the team
But then they would have to actually put effort into their games cause people would actually expect good games from them if they actually recruited talented rom hackers, and they can't have that, minimal effort maximum profits anti consumer practices only
Why would they? As long as people keep buying their mass produced overpriced garbage they dont need to do better

@@Galax94cz I must agree with you. You just have to look at the state the previous two games released to realize that the Pokemon Company doesn't really care anymore. And now additionally with DLC's the money grabbing gets even worse.
Because large developers arent concerned with creativity or skill. All of their work is cookie cutter and easy to mass reproduce by anyone

Secret route:If you press B while evolving Wartortle the process will stop and you unlock a new route call "Wartortle route" but it will take away your eevee and all of your pokemon and give you six Wartortle Yes you heard me six Wartortle teammates so feel free to try it 😅(only with the ocean girl)

@@molassesman4066 Yes!!! There is a hidden under water psyduck village which has a item shop one of them sell rare candy for 150$ now my main blastoise is lv100 and my Ivysaur is lv63 but all the wild pokemon and trainer's level also change becoming harder (you don't need to grind too much😅)
1. Eevee comes attached with a moon stone. You can get an umbreon if used right away.
2. Eevee has the ability Run away, which you can use to run from shadow tag Wynauts and wobbuffets in connection cave.
I think Eevee has a different stone every time because mine had a water stone

I kept him as Eevee because the ability Run away is very useful and the game gives you powerful fully evolved sweepers with 80 BP moves right from the beginning.
@DrSid-fp9ze have you swapped your party around to see if you can sacrifice *not* eevee?

Idk in insurgence the first gym leader’s best friend is a literal rock, that turns out to be sought after by cults because surprise it randomly turns to reshiram 😂 and the timing of this gag and reveal of legendaries being everywhere is just chefs kiss😭
For anyone wondering what the qr code shows. It's like a bunch of random stuff someone would doodle in their looseleaf notebook during class. Probably a bunch of references to their friend group and maybe anyone who tested the rom hack. All drawn in colored pencil. Theres a logo for dota2, hearthstone, some stick figures with a numerical code under them (one number per stick figure) very random and not what I exoected. Oh theres a lit joint and a potleaf too as well as 420 etc

Siding with Haunter is hilarious considering Gengar was probably going to kill Nidorino lol. Not to mention that a Ghost/Poison type 3rd stage losing to a mono-Poison second stage is embarassing. Also getting nothing but a thank you is a good sign you made the wrong decision.
Also injured animals in the wild tend to die if they're injured, and they also tend to hide before they die.

I have NO idea what the hell is going on with this plot, it's insane, but the game is awesome, and I LOVE how unique it is.
They need to hire the people who develop these, maybe even purchase and publish them as official indie games that aren't part of the main timelines
Pokemon Company never like their fans so why bother?
Nintendo doesn't want people thinking that the fans can make superior products.
@@psyxypher3881 bigger prob. is, that nintendo used to take this kind of fan games down and dont hire the creators cuz of the copyright .... if nintendo wont go after that they would loose there copyrights on the pokemon franchise and that would be a big disaster for them. and if they would hire the guys making great fangames / romhacks they would encourage more and more to try this and nintendo would need to invest more money to save there copyrights .. so its just an financial and industrial problem : /

Honestly, I'd love an actual pokemon survival game. Pokemon legends arceus kinda gives a very very small peek at it, but a full on survival would be so cool
There is PokeWilds but it's really more of a sandbox than survival.
Yea, a proper pokemon survival game, maybe even with no NPCs to talk to and only occasional notes to find for story, would be an absolute blast. Think something like the pokemon mods for Minecraft but fully fleshed out in a setting designed for it.
There's a game called Palworld coming out at some point that's kinda like "legally distinct pokemon survival".
@@Gamer3427Pokewilds, you have to craft the stuff by yourself; there's no TMs or HMs, instead, especific pokemon know those moves; you can make a house, and a ranch for your pokemon to be there, wandering; And you can both battle pokemon, or befriend calm/friendly pokemon.
Btw, the pokemon are all wandering around, there's no pokemon center, no stores, no NPCs, and no pc to save pokemon (u just drop them)
It has pokemon Silver graphics, and, at least the last time I played, there was pokemon up to gen 8.
@@InsanityForceI mean, you can die (by the ghost, and just the normal fainting) and you craft. The only thing missing is the need to drink and eat, and exhaustion.

When you don´t except many battles, this game seems to be very funny. The game is focused about funny quests and exploring the many paths of the island. Good video and funny Fangame.
That intro just described Palworld. Obviously this video came out way before Palworld, but it made me chuckle.

This is way to confusing. I see the effort from the devs but it’s a nightmare to follow what’s even happening in the story. It’s simply too convoluted.

This is one of the best fangames I’ve seen, and my only real complaint is that it functions much more like a puzzle game than an actual pokemon game, which isn’t even inherently a bad thing.
The Orphanage (PokéLand) is actually a reference to the PokéLand 0 ROM-Hack series. There will also be a collaboration with Stranded in the future

one way is that in the Underwater Palace, there's a squirtle who will reset one of your pokemon exactly once to level 1 and remove all EV's from them, but give you tons of rare candies in return for free, over 60 of them. But like others said also in the Psyduck Village.

The Champion's/Big Bad's name isn't pronounced "Uh-lee-shya," by the way. There's only one i in there, it's spelled Alita. Which means the correct pronunciation is "Uh-leet-uh."

That's debatable. It depends on how you measure the effort and creativity. These romhackd are generally made by one or a few people. While they have interesting ideas, usually, the story and mechanics vary so much that it's tough to say they're generally better.
True. Even if they bring an open world experience, Pokemon hasn't really changed since its inception. Same old formula, nothing as dark that B2W2 did and still remains childish to this day

Wich emulator did you use? Everytime i try and collect a vine, either from my venosaur or a tree the game always freezes for me and im not sure if its the emulator im using i still love the game just hope it stops freezing (alzo freezes when i try and collect wartortle and azumarill quest after encouraging them)

a compound of nitric acid and alcohol created by mixing nitric acid with as close to pure alcohol (96%) as possible. The ratio is 30% nitric acid to 70% alcohol and the reaction won't occur unless it's perfect.
