knowing that the free update alongside the expansion is apparently "the game they wished they shipped with", this dlc is going to be INSANE. all new gameplay with the idea of a "true ending" for V and Johnny is a dream and i am SO EXCITED
Knowing how Cyberpunk is dark you will get a cure but you will sell yourself and all of the values you had. It's never positive ending.

Yeah I would think we would lose silver hand and V by way of them merging into one so they won’t be silver hand or V but something new…one chaos incarnate and another of control and great decisions from what I saw lol V always made the right choices for the situation mostly anyway lol

They reworked the skill tree from scratch

The devs have said they highly recommend starting a new “V” / playthrough. This will def have a new ending

So stoked for this DLC! Really hoping the melee changes are what they make it out to be.

They gave the most heartbreaking ending and I love it.
many don't realize this but female v and kassandra from odyssey are canon, to the stories. for all those surprised. lol
there is no canon v
I don't think any game has risen from ashes like a phoenix the same way cyberpunk 2077 has, from bug ridden & barely function to one of my favourite RPG's of all time.
Edit: I suppose No man's sky also did but I'm still not a big fan of the game, though that is due to personal preference not overall quality.

Sadly it's going to be the *only* major expansion for the game. That was an effect of their prior failure.
*Very extensive* mod tools coming instead, so community content would be driving the game forward. Night City is a very solid foundation, so that's great
I mean they're already working on the sequel so having this as the only expansion don't matter that much, because if they work on another expansion, it could mean a year or so delay on the sequel. I think this expansion took 2 years to make.

No such thing as a 100% happy ending. Something has to be sacrificed
Yeah you might want to start a new playthrough when it comes out because they've made a lot of changes in the game too. They said that it was hard to think about an aspect of the game that they didn't change, but I think the biggest changes are the melee system rework, addition of vehicle combat, and the police system overhaul. There's also some big changes on acquiring skills, armor now depends on your cyberware, etc, there's so many things. So if you start a new playthrough once this is out, it'll be kinda like experiencing a new game. And yes, I also trust CDPR when it comes to storytelling. They may have fumbled it with technical stuff during release on old gen consoles, but the storytelling in Cyberpunk 2077, the game, the comics, and the anime, are all top tier. Also, I can't believe that you didn't know that Idris Elba would be on this lol

NGL with the 2.0 Update it'd be best to play through the game again since it basically overhauls the whole game. I'm personally doing the same thing.
Isn’t the that women president the CEO of militech? I would think or assume she’s not exactly the best or for the people as a standing or future standing president lol if theirs a chance to zero her and get someone else to take her place I’d do that in the game if it’s allowed lol
The new ending is still heartbreaking even though it saves your life. Nothing truly happy in a cyberpunk world.

Is a new ending confirmed for this? Because I didn't get that impression from the trailer. V is searching for a cure, and the only way she can be pulled out of everything she's doing is by being promised a true cure. But if this DLC gives an ending that lets you live, it would promptly invalidate every other ending in the game, making it a necessity to buy the DLC if you want to unlock the "true" ending. Like... of course it's not necessary, but if you were given a choice between your character dying/abandoning your love interest vs. living to love another day... everyone's gonna want the latter. CDPR wouldn't do such a thing as locking a new, perfect ending behind a paid DLC. That would be way too much bad PR.
It got leaked awhile ago that song bird somehow gives the player another ending where they live.

I love how they present Female V as the canon character. Which is well deserved because Cherami Leigh did amazing job with her. Im even ready to compare it to Jennifer Hale as FemShep.
