i preordered cyberpunk and played it nonstop at launch. I absolutely loves the story, dialogue, and alternate endings. For anyone that grew up on the OG bethesda games like new vegas, skyrim, or oblivion, there is so much to love about this game. Night city has so much character and the neon lights give you tokyo vibes. Having both keanu reeves and idris elba in this game is going to solidify it as one of if not the best rpg of all time. Dont sleep on this game.
They promised to fix it. With pc there wasn't much to fix but 2.0. Now it's what it should have been. Well they spent 135 million or such to fix it. So total budget for the game is over 400 million dollars. Should look good, should work well, should be immersive...and it is now.
The phrase getting thrown around that update 2.0. will make Cyberpunk 2077 "as intended" is supposed to be a positive for the game, but I'm not really a fan of it because if you watch the trailers close to launch of the base game, the ones with no disclaimer that it's a work in progress and things are subject to change, you get all that you see in them in the base game already. Update 2.0. only works to improve on an already great game. And I've been playing it since launch and I've also played a lot of great games, Ghost of Tsushima, The Witcher 3, RDR 2, etc, and I can say that Cyberpunk 2077 is up there with them and a lot of its aspects are even better than the games I mentioned.
When a game can make you that emotional to the point you have tears in your eyes. I hope people start realizing how much of an ART games (singplayer story) can actually be!
I am 56 years old and I have played games since the amiga and atari days. Cyberpunk started as a big fiasko for me when I bought it on PS4 Pro. Full of bugs and unplayable. But when I got my PS5 I thought I will give it another try and by then the game was patched many times so it was playable and actually really good. And by now, after the latest patch 2.01 and with the liberty dlc it has jumped up as my absolute favorite game of all times. I just love the whole concept of this game and the details in just about everything is just mindblowing. All the cool characters, the different endings and the possibilities to choose your destiny is so awesome. And the first time I saw the end credits I actually had tears in my eyes. That has not happened to any other game before. This game as is today is a masterpiece and I am so glad Project Red stuck with it. And made it what is was supposed to be from the beginning. Great reaction guys! And you guys must try this game, It will bring many hours of fantastic missions and storylines.
I had tears streaming through the DLC finale and the main game new ending. New bar has been set for quest design it was insane. Also did you ever play Hired Guns on the Amiga?
Starfield Steam reviews = 76% Recent Cyberpunk Steam reviews = 90% ^prolly will even be higher once update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty drops. It's not 2020 anymore. Just because the game launched horribly doesn't mean it deserves to be hated on forever, especially when tons of fixes and improvements have been issued on it. Nobody is going to be playing the launch version anymore.
I just realized that was arasaka who took him down and machinima is making the video game version movie where u see it from a different pov it's the whole story again but ur watching now
99% of their animations are made by unknown studios that got famous because they work for netflix, like the Powerhouse Animation Studios with Castlevania animation. Hiring an already well established and famous studio for its own style its a whole other thing. yes, it is netflix and cannot be used as an example for netflix quality cause 99% of the shit they do wont have half of that quality
@@Ratovx Yes, but it's not under their label. If it was just the studio by themselves coming up with the idea and animating it then it would be their s to claim like what Mappa does. However it wasn't, they were just hired under Netflix. It's still their animation lol
Trying to tell a story as complex as the game using the format of a movie would be like taking a step backwards, you'd have to make like 3 branching storyline movies to capture it all. The thing about RPGs in general is the amount of agency you're given as a player, I think creating this and changing it to a movie would make it stagnant. Saying that, they are making a live action cyberpunk story, I don't think it will be related to the game characters but that format i feel will work with an original storyline rather than taking something already made like Phantom Liberty.
I'm calling it right now : Solomon Reed was left for dead in a trash just like V was in the base game. Built his network in NC with the goal of getting revenge on the people that betrayed him and that SAM hitting the plane at the end? That came from him (or his network) with the goal of getting the netrunner back to ground in NC and have a chance to get her
It wasn't, man. Wasn't about performance, crowds/civvies were all over the place, police were non existent, cars would just catapult all over the map, dialogue text constantly getting stuck on screen, t-posing enemies and NPCs even on PC. I played through the whole game on launch and had a great time but the bugs were undeniable on any platform
A Cyberpunk live action movie with Idris Elba (Solomon), Keanu Reeves (Johnny), and Tristin Mays (Panam) along with the graphic designs and CGI would be one expensive ass movie that would take a MAJOR and establish studio to acquire like Lions Gate, Sony, Warners Brothers, Universal pictures etc. Thats the only way it would be done right, we're talking a 250 million dollar budget at the LEAST
This is the only DLC because CDPR is moving on to Unreal 5 instead of Cyberpunk's current came engine, Red 2. The DLC sold over 3 million copies in the first week, and many are calling that and update 2.0 the redemption of the game and CDPR. After this, the developer is moving on to Witcher 3 already in development, and they're in early development of Cyberpunk's sequel, code named Orion, both using Unreal Engine.
Cyberpunk was always playable most people just didn't stick with it long enough to see it for what it was I can't totally blame them though I surprisingly didn't experience many bugs the most bugs I experienced was after the dlc and 2.0 came out oddly and funnily enough the game is the same besides the obvious differences new dlc and new perk tree/system other than that pretty much the same content from launch.
Oh my God I'm loving the new update and I'm loving the game phantom Liberty is awesome I hope it's not the last update I can see them updating new side missions or big side mission stories cuz now you can do a lot more with the game and everything else cuz they did say they working on cyberpunk 2 we might get it until a 2025 or 2026 release but I'm sure we will get update to could keep the game fresh and keep us going for a while
CDPR was the poster child for pro-consumer behavior in gaming. that's why people went rabid after Cyberpunk's buggy launch. Starfield isn't treated the same way because they don't expect Bethesda to do anything but a buggy launch
Exactly, people were already expecting Bethesda to release a buggy unpolished product, so when Starfield launched, people are like "welp, it's a Bethesda game, first time?" And even Bethesda fans don't even put their faith in the company to fix their game's issues, they know they'll have to wait f or the modders to do that.
Who is jumping back into the game with 2.0?
Lulu's Fantasy Show: linktr.ee/cluelesslulu
John X Lulu Wicked Fun: linktr.ee/johnxlulu
after starfield and baldur's gate 3

100% facts
People aren't "sleeping" on this game. People are just wary so as not to get burned like it's 2020 release.
@@CatsOverdrive it was a mess on old gen consoles but on PC it was a completely normal state for a giant sized game like this at release
This is how it looks when you give developers time to finish their work. CDPR has top tier writers and other workers are also very talented.
Well... they were the ones that decided to launch as is. So not sure who didn't give them the time to finish their work besides themselves?
