    This was live audio -- Fleetwood Mac didn't mess around. They have stacks of hits. Three singers who write and take lead on different songs.

    Lead singer on this song is the legend Stevie Nicks. She was the first woman to be twice inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, first for her career with Fleetwood Mac, and second for her highly successful solo work.
    Fleetwood Mac has multiple hit songs. For more of Stevie's incredible vocals, listen to the band's performance of "Rhiannon" on The Midnight Special TV show in 1976.

    This group is so awesome! Love Stevie Nicks, and I love Fleetwood Mac. They were the top group in the 70s and the 80s. Stevie is my age 76 and still performing. You need to listen to all of their hits! ❤❤❤

    Mick Fleetwood (Drums), John McVie (Bass), and Christine McVie (Keyboards, Backing, and Lead Vocals, Song Writer) are English, and comprise the bands name. Stevie Nicks (Main Vocalist and Song Writer, Backing Vocals), and Lindsey Buckingham (Guitars, Backing and Lead Vocals, Song Writer), are both American. This band has a lot of hit songs, and interesting back story.

    The first concert I ever went to;
    Fleetwood Mac.
    1974 University of California Santa Barbara.
    Everyone had lawn chairs and blankets spread out on the grass.
    Perfect day I will never forget.

    That was LIVE. 1977 to be exact.
    Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham (Americans), Mic Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie (British).
    This band is a journey into a deep rabbit hole of incredible music and relationship drama that spans decades.

    Fleetwood Mac’s album Rumors is the best “break up” album ever. “Chains” is the best song! You’ve probably heard people cover Stevie Nicks’ Landslide. Lindsey Buckingham has a really unique plucking style playing the guitar and it really sings.

    Fleetwood Mac initially was an American/English Rock Band with Blues roots that formed in London in 1967. Christine McVie joined the band in 1970 & Stevie Nicks in 1974. Rumours was their most popular album. The original band was made up of Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, Jeremy Spencer, and Bob Brunning. John McVie replaced Brunning as Bassist a few weeks after the band was created. I saw the original group in Detroit, I think in 1970 at the Grandy or Eastown, hard to remember those high times. A good example of their early music, if you can find it, is "Oh Well".

    2:13 Yes, this would definitely fall into the category of soft rock. Other examples are 'I Wanna Know What Love it' or 'Waiting For A Girl Like You' both by Foreigner and 'More Than A Feeling' by Boston. I recommend reacting to all three. Oh and to answer your question about the lead singer here. Her name is Stevie Nicks and she has quite a few hits under her belt.

    New sub here! Stevie Nicks (gorgeous blonde lead singer) and Lindsey Buckingham (white suit, Afro, guitar player) were a couple for a while. They had broken up but still played on in the band. Many of their songs are the break up songs that either one of them wrote about each other. If you want to see absolute fireworks between Stevie and Lindsey- you have to watch the live version of Silver Springs from The Dance tour. You can see, feel, and hear the pain in Stevie’s voice. If it doesn’t give you chills, NOTHING will!

    Didn’t follow them too closely but they were huge and had some good tracks like this. I think you’re referring to a slide guitar? They’re awesome. Soft rock works, I think I called it plain old pop. The SoCal folk-rock-pop mix 😅

    The original mid 60’s Fleetwood Mac lineup was all British, and they were a blues band. The lineup you’ve reacted to had retained two original Brit members, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie, and added a third, keyboardist Christine McVie, as well as two Americans, Stevie Nicks (lead vocals on this song, which she wrote) and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. All but the drummer and bassist sing lead on various songs. They are a legendary band with numerous gems, many which in my opinion are far better than this one. Check out their catalogue. You will not be disappointed.
