honestly thats a nifty setup you got there i cant fault you for returning your triples. Im personally using triple 32inch setup and the ability to see all 3 mirrors is so good and immersive. Im using them as my main pc and as a sim rig, to change surround modes quickly im using program called display magician which lets me do it with a single click. I only need to setup my steering wheel stand, which is already equiped with everything i need, so the procedure takes only like a minute or so. However i think that if you have space for "dedicated" sim rig you have space for triple monitor setup. the only more difficult thing to sort out would be pc itself, ideally you would want dedicated pc but thats obviously expensive and it still needs to turn on compared to your double switch solution. Previously i have been running janky double screen setup so it would be somewhat similar to your ultra wide monitor, but after having proper triple setup i wouldnt want to go back at all, just too much of a compromise especially for gt3'ish cars or euro truck simulator where environment and mirrors are much more important and spread out compared to open wheelers
I wanna run tripple. But i already have 2 monitors on my desk for other things. So everytime you unplug and plug in you need to do al the settings again? There isnt any profile saving or such thing? Because than i am bound to 49 as wel
I personally prefer triples, everything gets compressed in a ultra wide and nothing looks the size it should be...... triple 27s gets you a more 1:1 aspect ratio
I did like the triple screen better but only for the extra fov, I do like this setup alot but it does feel like something is just missing sometimes. but as a compromise so that I can use 2 other monitors at my desk for other things this is golden.
@@topcat8820 If you have the Space and your PC the power, i would always chose a triple setup, its way more immersive. 49 ultrawide is the sweetspot for me, i don't need it wider at the cost of fps. Also i'm waiting for the VR2 headset from Sony, hope there will be VR for GT7.
I have a samsung odyssey neo 49 1000R mini led + 2 AOC mini led 27 flat of the same height as the samsung. The samsung I have in my cockpit rack in the middle and the 2 AOC flat monitors I have on the sides each with its own stand floor. it's the best monitor setup you can get today. better than 3 curved monitors. better than everything y guess. I prefer mini led instead oled.
luv my 49 and ~ track IR makes all the difference

There are profiles you can use but I don't think it's a good idea to change cables in the back of your pc 3x a day.

You can fix this with the right fov settings.
I’m leaning towards changing my Samsung G95T for triples
I’m just not impressed with it graphics are terrible and it’s just not wide enough
@@topcat8820 i went for triple g7s, didnt dissapoint
