Gr8 video!! I'm getting ready to do a 30-0300 aem in a 99 silverado so the views are about to go up on this video from me watching it 10 or more times!! Lol
Wow, this is the exact video i was looking for, and Wow , I even got the same laptop haha , Creepy. keep up the good work , glad to have found you .. i know i am in the right place now, peace .
great video, but I have a question, why do we need to add a third party AFR gauge to the MPVI why can't we just use the stock factory vehicle O2 sensors to read the air fuel ratio? am I missing something I'm a newb to HP Tuners
Awesome video man, I appreciate the info. Quick question I believe I know the answer, just want to verify. So if I setup all my pids and stuff when I log a e38 ecm then log a p01 will the pids that are supported by each ecm log, or do you have to setup different pids for different ecm's? I am pretty sure they pickup the pids they support without changing anything, but just wanted to verify.
Definitely useful is there a way to monitor afr on it if you don’t have the pro version of hp tuners such as tapping into the old rear 02 sensor pins with my AEM afr gauge
Can you explain Trans Slip? When you started it it was at 200ish. How does this tell you if it is slipping or not? This would be an awesome addition for any 4L60 tuning!
How do you like the 30-4110? I'm needing a new WB. The Innovate MTX-L just doesnt interface with the MPVI pro accurately. I wonder if the X series AEM 30-300 works good with just hooking up the analog output to the I/O pin 1 on the pro interface.
Hello. Thank you for the video. Is absolutely everything data logged when you record, even if it's not on the channel list? All I want to do is record everything for my tuner to see. Also, do you need a licence to data log your vehicle?
Not very accurate. It's going to be manipulated by airflow and fueling. I've make a lot of changed with it and don't really find it useful, thats why I didn't keep it for this.
So when creating the Math, I notice some of your IDs are highlighted in pink. Does that mean they aren’t going to work? I am having a similar issue with AFR err Math in the preconfigured list, as my AFR sensor is showing pink highlight, but I have my Wideband properly transformed in my channel list. Any ideas?
Your information was great for setting up my scanner. only problem I am having is several of the scanners I setup aren't scanning after I set them up. I think I am missing something in the process. Going thru it a second time to see what of if I missed something. Any suggestions?
Wouldn't use the trans slip calc. I found later it wasn't accurate, and did show slip properly. If you do, don't use "calculated gear ratio" PID. Use the actual gear ratio. (1) for 3rd.
I have noticed over the years, when trying something new. Success is a ratio of effort and pretending like you know what you are doing, with about 5% luck, half the time things work out fine, if you didn't try, put in the effort, you will never have succeeded , and if not it's not the end of the world! Unless you are trying to save the world! Ha-ha,
Thank you!!!!!!!
Best video on how to set up HPT on the internet
Great stuff, straightforward and explained so well. Made understanding set up simple & easy! Thanks and keep the videos coming please.
You have no idea how helpful this has been thank you very much sir!
Thanks man! Since I’m so new to this it helped a lot!

Wow. Still light years ahead of my time.. lol but I'm trying to catch up to you man. Thanks for putting this together my friend. 👍🙏
Good shit man just was I was looking for👍👍
Dude your video just helped me so much thank you

awesome video,it helped me get all set up,thumbs up,cheers
Awesome glad it helped.
You are great man! Thanks for these vids
Dude you are the BEST, why no volts logging, how to choose the correct volts to log?

Damn... worth the time watching! Do you have a video for editor?
Check out the "Tuning" playlist on this channel. There's a HPtuners Basics video.

No, you have to select it to log it.
Sorry if this is a dumb question but is the cylinder airmass mentioned measured through the maf?
Thanks for sharing!
Have a good one too buddy
Thank u
Very helpful. One question tho, I added your horsepower math parameter. How accurate is this to actual dyno numbers?
Not very accurate. It's going to be manipulated by airflow and fueling. I've make a lot of changed with it and don't really find it useful, thats why I didn't keep it for this.
Muy buena información. THX.

Can make a viedo on how to set up parameter for cylinder airmass for (maf and map) if your o.s doesnt support it

Make sure they are in the channels lists, and unit of measure for each is correct.
@@BlaserBuilds thank you. I am checking that now. That's probably what I did. I'll let you know shortly
EQ ERR in the graph doesn't work and it appears to have everything in the channel. What am I missing?
@@goingup7257 Did you set up the scanner using math parameter or just the EQ ratio setting? Is the wideband configured and working?
@@BlaserBuilds EQ ratio.
gracias amigo very good
What Values did you use for the Trans slip calculation min/max?? in the scanner
Wouldn't use the trans slip calc. I found later it wasn't accurate, and did show slip properly.
If you do, don't use "calculated gear ratio" PID. Use the actual gear ratio. (1) for 3rd.
What laptop do you use?
Could p0122 and p0223 be a tune issue
