Hercules 5 Guitar Stand Review - Is it worth it???

- Here's a quick review of the @herculesstands61 Hercules Five Guitar Stand Model GS525B that should give you a good idea of what you can expect if you buy one. I picked one of these up to help clean up my studio and so far, I'm very happy with it, but it isn't perfect... As always, thanks for watching!

I have the ten guitar model. Works well, looks nice. I like it. It fits my Les Pauls, Strats, Taylor acoustic, Rickenbackers and Precision Bass.
Planning to gig with this. I’ll probably just tape the foam pieces together so they won’t move

I purchased it based on your video. Thanks. It’s nice. I wonder why it comes with five yokes but only enough foam ring for four yokes? I guess the foam rings are supposed to go in between each guitar, not against each guitar.

As far as the foam rings go, I think the presumption is that the guitars on the ends don’t need them as there isn’t a guitar on one side of them?… That’s my guess, it hasn’t really been an issue for me. The stand has held up well and the guitars on each end have been stable…

do you think it'll hold a martin and gibson dreanought sg and tele with still space?
🤔…. so I have a Large body Fernandes Acoustic, and it takes up a good amount of space…
I would think that if I had 2 of those, I could comfortably get 3 Electric guitars on the stand, maybe even 4 electrics…
If I had to guess, and mind you, it’s just a guess, you’d be able to get 2 acoustics, and 4 electrics on one rack… But keep in mind, that’s just a guess… Either way, it’s a great rack! Best of luck 🤘🎸
Will the foam damage and discolour nitro finishes.? Like les pauls and prs etc.
Great Question… Their descriptions on Vendor pages don’t say. I’ve seen a lot of customers in the reviews say they’ve used it with Nitro guitars without issue, but I wouldn’t rely solely on that, particularly because Nitro can be fickle… You may want to reach out to Hercules directly and see what they say… If I have time tonight, I’ll shoot an email to them and see if I can get a response. I’m not affiliated with them in any way so I don’t have a contact, but I’ll see if I can get a response from them
@@FretboardDiaries thanks..I think the foam might be ok against the foam blistering but the black dye worries me.. Will it seep into the wood..
I decided to go with the konig and Meyer 17515T today.. It has no dye and won't affect the finish.. Good work from you.

No Strandberg killed it for me 😔
Yeah I do have a headless strandberg knockoff on the rack, but it’s not a great fit and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it for headless guitars unfortunately
