Way cheaper than the Fenix but is Venu 2 worth it? - 90 Second Review

- I wanted to test a cheap Garmin wearable and see what my take on that was compared to the super expensive Garmin Fenix. Overall, this thing is my favorite watch. It's light, does the basics, doesn't annoy me when riding, and looks good. I don't know what else you could ask for. The downside is it just doesn't have all the cool extra bike related features that the Fenix has but it will track your ride and upload it to Strava.

As a counter point to the other person. I have watched your channel for a long time, before I owned a mountain bike. Your ride videos were good for me because I wasn't familiar with the local trails and it helped me know where to go and ride and what the trails were like. Now that I have been riding for a few years that's not as important to me and I actually don't really enjoy purely POV videos anymore. This format, while I might not be interested in purchasing some of these products, the short format is easy to watch and learn about a product. I don't care to watch a 20 minute review about a product I probably won't purchase, but 2 minutes is fine and I might actually be interested in looking into it more after that. Also I know you are doing this somewhat as a gift guide leading up to the holidays so to me this makes a lot of sense and I know this flood of product videos is temporary.
And as for the regular videos I just mean purely POV of the trail and that's it. If it was more 'travel' vlog style, maybe show some other parts of your day, like where you like to eat after you ride a certain trail etc. could be good also.

I've got the Venu 2 (non square version) and really like it, i like how its more sleek than the fenix so its a little more office appropriate to wear. still use the edge 130 plus to track biking stuff because it has all the extra mountain biking metrics and means i dont have to charge my watch as often as i'm not using it to track biking.
I do the same. I wear this watch everyday though.

How’s the battery life?
When using the gps it goes much quicker. But as a watch/fitness tracker it’s long enough that it surprises me it’s time to charge it because it seems so long I forgot it needs to be charged.

I have a bunch recorded. I just haven’t had time to edit. These reviews are quick and easy but a regular video is like 15 hours of work. Hopefully I’ll get to them soon.
