This video just goes all over the place and I love it. Thanks for showing such a wide variety of bells!
This is why I love having bells. They are a lot of fun to screw around with! Especially my teardrop bell I get to make people jealous:D
I’m jealous
I’m jealous
I like the railroad crossing. The combo of Lex-Cs and the Western Cullen lights on the top actually make a good combo.
Great video! Glad you were able to get your Safetran Hybrid Bell working!
I'd really like to see an American mainline crossing with a Westinghouse Hybrid Bell.
I like the lex-c 8 inch lights
They came from this crossing: ua-cam.com/video/zCFlEC4z6Ag/v-deo.html
@@kyleb06 nice
3:35 I never knew someone would hook up a vintage fire alarm to a railroad crossing light relay.
Yeah that was funny
Nice video! How did you get your hybrid working again?
The relay wasn't working when the bell was taken out of service but just moving it a bit fixed it.
Thats so high pitched
Is that a space age fire alarm hooked up to a flasher relay?
Yep lmao
@@kyleb06 Ive always wanted a space age fire alarm lol, They sound cool
How did you restore your hybrid bell? i bought one last year and it doesn't work and id like to get it working again
Honestly there was just a part slightly out of place and realigning it fixed it
@@kyleb06late reply but i need the blue box thing inside of mine lol
On the safetran and Westinghouse hybrid bells I have a question why are they called hybrid bells?
Because they use hammers like mechanical bells but are driven by electronic components
@@kyleb06oh ok thanks for telling me
how do you get all these?
Not all of this is mine, this was at a former friends house. The stuff that is mine was bought off of sites such as eBay.
Your signal has those weird sealed lights on it.. do you happen to know any history on that style of lights?
1. This isn't my signal, just a few of the bells are mine.
2. You mean the Dialight Ball LEDs? All I know is they were made by Dialight starting sometime in the mid-2000s. I dislike them a lot and don't know much else.
@@kyleb06 I can certainly agree with you on the Dialights, I don’t like them either.
