Just so know Abbadon wears a legendary armor named "plot", making him physically unkillable. Runes such as "gw financial conditions" and "chaos space marine players" are also written on the armor to protect him from psychic attacks.
Just like any loyal space marine or even soldier. In any Dan Abnett story Ibram Gaunt could walk right into the eye of terror and wipe the floor with with all the traitor legions. Or take the "End and the death" where Fafnir Rann kills like 50 traitor marines while they are just standing around. So it all comes down to the story or bad writing.
The only reason the Emperor didn't kill Horus as soon as he seen him on the Vengeful Spirt is he still had love for him as soon as he realized no matter what there was no redeeming Horus he jizz blasted his soul into nothing and permakilled his punk balled ass!
Not really. It is clear in the book tha Horus is on another level above Emperor in that fight. Emperor tricked Horus to win but in raw power Horus was league ahead. Hope that people read book who will state otherwise
A dark couple more that could one on one any primarch: 1. The Harlequin solitaire, this one would make childsplay fighting any loyalist primarch and he is near purpose build to defeat the traitor primarchs, possibly killing them in final death. 2. Liliyth Hesperax... comon, she is simply to fast in hand to hand combat and has skill to match.
Nah man solitaires could be a good scrap for the low tier primarchs and he could maby kill Lorgar but most primarchs would stomp them bcs they are blanks and that is why they are effective against traitors. And that dark eldar bi*ch dosent even stand a chance
I wont agree with Abbadon. Yes, he defeated Horus clone, but it was a clone: maybe it had physical strenght of a primarch, but that soul or whatever you call it is KEY element of primarch. Primarchs are (a bit of theory here) humanity C'tan: some form of god-like creatures (or just warp energy) put into physical bodies. They have strong connection to warp, which suggest that soul of a primarch is a minor god/powerfull entity from warp. Without their soul, Primarch is just a much more physically powerfull Space Marine. Im pretty new to lore so probably a lot of holes: My small imperfect theory: some primarchs are actually our human gods from before. If primarchs are minor gods, why is Leman Russ basically a space-viking? Why Girlyman uses Omega, greek symbol of war? So we know for sure, that believing some god makes them materialize in warp (like Greater Good god created by faith of human auxiliaries in Tau Empire). So its for sure possible, that Thor, Atena, every other human god existed at some point in warp. They were probably minor gods, not really powerfull but still existed. After humans stopped worshipping them, they lost power, but maybe they didnt fully died. Maybe they also got a bit transformed, for example whole pantheons merged into one god to survive. So in my theory Emperor just took these human ex-gods from warp by offering them physical bodies, like necron to C'tan once did. So few primarchs that I was able to guess which god they could come from: - Lemon Russ: nordic pantheon, maybe one of few godlike wolfs (Fenrir for example) - Jaghatai: early mongolian gods. - Girlyman: greek pantheon, maybe Athena. That would explain usage of omega symbol. - Sangi: 2 angels (one of dark, one of light), maybe some archangels from Christianity (one fallen angel, for example Lucifer and for example archangel Micheal, not gods but powerfull entities) That would also explain why Primarchs landed on worlds that suited them: gods choosed planets that were similar to land where their worshippers once lived, OR they were connected to planets in some ways even before Emperor took them from warp. Probably a lot of plotholes and anti-lore bullshit, but here is my theory.
I mean in theory by sheer weight of suicidal attempts I think Dante could since the universe is keeping alive to make him suffer. The man is willing to strap on a nuke to himself in order to spite the necrons he’s willing to turn himself into a shish kebab in order to get a clear shot on a swarm lords head.
Starts the list with the Emperor... really dude? The guy who created the primarchs and has the chaos gods pissing in their pants could defeat a primarch. What a revelation.
No. Magnus had the POTENTIAL to be more powerful. In reality, he has been defeated by numerous different characters, even Space Marines. Magnus had numerous weaknesses that he has yet to overcome.
I think there's a strong argument that Magnus is actually weaker as a Daemon primarch then he was pre-heresy, due to his missing shards. Either way, him getting fucked up by a dreadnought makes me think he's pretty trash in actual melee combat for a Primarch. Not so much on the strength side of things, although judging by Angron holding back a Warhounds foot, primarchs should be significantly stronger then dreadnoughts. It's more the speed side of things..Dreadnoughts are a class below marines in terminator armor, speedwise. And Terminator armor makes an Astartes significantly slower, to the point that even high-tier marines like Abaddon struggle to keep up in the agility/finesse department with marines in normal plate. A primarch should have way better reaction time then a normal marine, so for a dreadnought to land hits on Magnus in a duel...Bjorn should've gotten speed-blitzed honestly. He would've, against most primarchs, Magnus apparently can't dodge for shit
Krorks weren’t as powerful as Primarchs and the Beast was not a Krork. How could Primarch level beings be foot soldiers in the WIH if the Necrons in 40k can get crushed by space marines?
That's literally how it was. The War in Heaven is the biggest war in wh40k for something. Today necrons are weak compared to the time where they were at their best fighting the old ones.
Constantine Valdor cannot destroy a Primarch with ease and there's nothing in the lore that says that. He's sparred with the Primarchs and held his own for a while that's all. Also Abaddon can't destroy a Primarch with ease either. I suggest you go and actually read the books. Abbadon was almost killed by Sigismund in a duel and Sigismund is just a normal Astartes. Also he didn't defeat the clone of Horus on his own, he had help from many others in that fight.
The Sigilite isn't a Perpetual. If that was the case, where is he now? What's her face had to give over her remaining life to bring him back after Magnus fried him. He isn't a perpetual in the (outside John Gramatucus) normal definitions in 40k.

You forgot the fact that Failbaddon the Armless has no arms, Failbaddon can't defend himself in any other way but by headbutting and kicking.
yea bro how else does he expect us to know that Failbaddon the Armless has no arms
Well to be fair, that is one of the few things GW actually fixed ;)
