It's a good paper for joints TBF. Struggle finding them once done.
Nice one Phil...when you picked that knife up, after marking the corners, I thought 'no, oh no, he's going to slash the socket!...noooooo'! Hahahahahaha...I did it once as an apprentice, slashed a brass switch, looked like Zorro had been in town!....cost be 50 quid to replace it, leaving me 20 quid for the job!...lesson learned!.
no.... that's a DIYer skool boy error. it's knowing what to do... hence you get what you pay for.. as they say lol

Nice work, only thing I would have done differently would be to abrade the paint above the skirting.
Yeah, I go around all the walls with some use sand paper just to take anything off that may have got under the paper.. also a bit of key to the overspray.
I like the way your paper is quite neat at th skirting I like to hang ready pasted from the roll
I do work off a roll on main drops. When it came for tye purpose of the vid I had them ready cut.

@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator talking bout tables Phil saw your vid on the table you got from lidl I got one of my tables from lidl and it was amazing the three sections folded into each other brilliant for staircases
@@williamgorman893 just a shame it's not a flat surface with it having those daft metal lips on the edge your paper bangs up against and then across the joining sections. I use mine for BBQs.
I like to wipe woodwork with a dry cloth after the wet sponge, sometimes the paper as well otherwise water marks can be left behind
If your water gets over dirty from paste, it can leave residue too
The sponge I have is very soft and we'll rung out it's very nice to use.
It's not left any water marks. I wouldn't leave any thing in new woodwork.. the blue would show up stuff like that.

Not so easy going round sockets using glued, wet wallpaper. Has a tendancy to tear.
same principle... apart from the face of the socket gets paste on it. Loosen off the socket all the way helps pass it through the cut hole though, if you can get it through.
