This is probably the best version I’ve personally heard. Tasteful ornamentation, and above all, not ridiculously fast!
I did bar exercises to this in ballet class every week for a whole year...i can't get the association out my head :-)
I am never weary of watching and listening to this fantastic piece by Handel and Marco Vincenzi performing it
Florid, almost stunning use of free ornamentation. Brilliant playing..
a masterpiece
This harpsichord sounds so warm. I love it.
That's a lovely interpretation of this piece. I never heard it played so slowly, with such delicacy and wonderful ornamentation. You can hear every note. Great skill here.
Penny Betteridge I very much agree. The stately pace and tasteful ornamentation bring out the beauty of the piece perfectly.
well said Penny
Well done to you, whoever is playing this, a pleasure to listen to
Lovely, thanks for posting!
A wonderfully talented musician playing the music of a wonderfully talented composer..Thank you for this rendition.

Thank you!
Fantastic!
So many trills.
Un poco demasiado recargado pero muy bonito. Y un acierto volver a tocar el tema al final, redondea la obra.
Grazie!
Magnífico bravo
very good!!!!!!!!!!
Eccellente!!
Excelente!
A wonderful demonstration of virtuosity. He always wanted to be Bach. Bless his heart. But like Beethoven observed "his name should have been ocean, not brook",
Eric must have been drinking when he wrote that...
"Handel is the greatest composer that ever lived... I would uncover my head and kneel down on his tomb." L v Beethoven 1824
"Handel, to him I bend the knee." L v Beethoven
"There is the truth." L v Beethoven looking at Handel music on his deathbed.

Thank so much at all!
I could call this a symposium of energy and imagination... or I could simply say...fuck me..
Why is only 1/5th of the piece put???!!!!???!!!
Now thats more like it, just been listening to Zuzuna Ruzickova playing this and it sounds as if she,s rushing to go to the loo or something similar
I've listened to quite a few interpretations of this piece, and while there are many I enjoy, Vincenzi's is easily my favorite.
Ruckickova is just awful. Her interpretation is terrible, no phrasing, no understanding of the piece.
I've played on the piano for a recital many years ago. I started playing it again recently. I sounds better on a harpsichord though.
So Handel died in 1759 ?
A fact that's easily checked on Wikipedia.
Excellent - a good interpretation. However, Virginia Black IMO played the ultimate rendering of this piece.....
Sorry to disagree with you ,but her version good as it is it does not differ from many others talented musician; Vincenzi interpretation does. Superb, one can ear every single note without breaking the melody line, and the harspsichord sound is also spot on.
