Of course fine players twist the nuances at the expense of the music, and fine musicians twist nuances at the expense of other nuances, BUT this is the most balanced and beautiful that I have heard yet!
My local classical station, KLEF in Anchorage, played this piece today while I was driving. So delighting to hear, I had to write down name, composer and who transposed it to guitar {the recording today, was also on guitar}. A wonderful rendition you've performed here, with terrific quality as well. Thanks for sharing your talent!

Beautiful playing. The last time I heard this piece of music was when it was played by Anres Segovia i the 1970's. I think your perormance has more warmth.
@@ericmokotoff Exactly..., he did not record this or almost anything by giuliani. Segovia only recorded the Allegro con spirito of Sonata op.15 and very few studies, he despised Giuliani's music. Cheers Eric

He was a guitar music composer (27 July 1781 - 8 May 1829) and is one of a small group (Carcassi, Carulli, Sor, etc.) that is in every classical guitar collection music book I have ever seen.
