Damn, a very high compliment thank you bro! 🙏🏿 awesome to hear other people producing in FL! Yeah I’ll film a lowdown on it tomorrow actually! Hopefully get it edited and out by Friday! Mostly focusrite interface, neural Abasi plugin running thru same mid compression and Loki Bass plugin for bass and P4 drum pack from Get Good drums running thru some compression and EQ! I’ll dive into it deeper but that’s the surface level. Thanks again for the kind words dude!

Keep the vids coming bro. This is the most relatable music production/bedroom producer type bit. I love all the big names in the game, but it is seriously refreshing to hear other artists going for it!!! Props to you brother!!!

Thank you so much dude! That’s honestly the goal. I love the major names and creators but I don’t have a third of their set up or berklee degree and I feel like I can’t be the only one lol thanks again for the kind words brother!

Is the drumming 100% velocity a personal preference?
I've been trying to make my beats more realistic by varying, but its suck a pain in the dick and time consuming

So the parts that aren’t very technical on the drums I leave at 100% because of the tone with the compression that I use. When the drums are more technical I edit the living hell out of the velocity haha it’s not bad but I played more drums than guitar so I have a decent frame of reference for how something is played irl. Even with 100% velocity I always try and slightly off center the notes so they aren’t played EXACTLY in time. I have another video on atmosphere where the drums are super nuanced and adjusted if you wanna check it out!
