Lana and Abel have been friends since before either of them became famous. They used to support each other’s music online when they were trying to make it big. Abel has said that it always felt like they were singing to eachother through their songs, bc Lana is the type of woman he sings about, and she sings about guys like him. They super love and respect each other, and I think that’s very sweet.

@@luisa.c.8920 Si de hecho hay unas cuantas en UA-cam, uno de Abel cuando esta Apple Music, Lana en los MTV, Un performance cuando ambos cantan Prisioner en el 2015 y Abel tras el final dice que conoce a Lana desde el 2010 y es una gran amiga . O cuando Lana es entrevistada en los Billboard antes de Los Grammys y cuando le preguntan que si tienen algun artista favorito que gane y ella tan entusiasmada dice que Abel va tener una noche especial porque va ganar premios sobre su album Beauty Behind The Madness y dijo estar orgullosa de él. O hay de una publicación que surgio que un trabajador del Hotel se quejo de Lana porque ella no paraba de hacer ruido ya que ponia la cancion de Abel Wicked Games en volumen alto y no paraba de bailar y saltar de la cama. Amo su relación se nota que se quieren mucho

Did you know that 11 years ago, The Weeknd discovered Lana Del Rey through tumblr, and was the first one to ask BBC Radio 1 to put 'Video Games' on their playlist. In fact in an interview Abel admits that when he met Lana, he felt that he had found the girl who was writing in her songs, that is, I found her muse for her songs. The Weeknd and Lana met in 2010, the year in which the Weeknd launched "Trilogy", and it is seen that they became very good friends, so much so that the voice of a woman who sounds in "Lonely Star" is inspired by Lana del Rey and it should be clarified that Lana helped a producer the album, "BBTM".On the surface, The Weeknd and Del Rey might seem like very different artists. Even the whole monologue intro on “Lonely Star” from [my 2011 mixtape] Thursday - I just realized now that that’s Lana. That’s Lana’s voice. I mean, it’s my voice pitched up, but it’s her. It’s who she is. She was definitely the first feature that I wanted to bring on this album.”
The Weeknd and Del Rey are more than just collaborators, it seems. The pair’s music - according to The Weeknd - is spiritually linked. Perhaps this revelation puts into context not only the collaborations between these two but their respective catalogs as well. As great collaborations he has Prisoner, Party Monster where Lana makes Background vocals, Stargirl Interlude, Lust for Life and Money Power and Glory an unreleased remix by The weeknd for the album kissland but the original is from Lana's album Ultraviolence.Anyway, long life to this wonderful collaboration. I remember When I was on Abel's Madrid concert in the east track when he sang Less Than Zero I wrote in my poster something else in which he said: "Please Collab with Lana cause you know is your Stargirl" and he smiled at me, in fact it is a video on a channel that is an X❤O fan called Anything Abel in which it is titled "I flew across the world to see my favourite artist live" when Abel after jumping and sang a fragment of the song "I try to hide it, but I know you know me. I try to fight it, but I'd rather be free" he looked at me along with my sign and he made that gesture of affection while he was smiling again and little by little he was heading to the other side. The girl next to me warned me again that Abel looked at me again and asked me if I could point out the sign to take a photo or make a video. That means that he still has affection and admiration for Lana and that it is also another sign that he may be collab with Lana someday, let's hope so for this AMAZING COLLAB 💕
