    A funnel would have helped when filling the base, you raised some concerns about the welding and the stitching on the top, the rest looks okay, be interesting to see how it holds up over time, keeping it about 3 to 4 feet from a wall should be enough, it seems to spring back pretty well and it didn't fall over

      I was just going to say that exact same thing, I’ve used several different brands of free standing bags and always need a funnel.

    Thank you, nice review but I disagree with the design part at 7:40, they're all like that and I feel like you didn't think that one through, you could have used a hose, a 1$ funnel, a watering can for plants, a kettle, etc.. there is so many things that fit into that hole, it's not that small.

    • @MicBot
      @MicBot  2 роки тому

      It's a great bag overall. If the hole was a little bigger it would of been nice. But I agree a funnel and slow pour would of worked as well. I didn't have a funnel at the time I made this video.

    Sand works best (coz if water begins to spill out...) although it (sand) is a total pain to fill, also if you are filling with water, please use a funnel. What's the standing height?

  • @tangobravo8889
    @tangobravo8889 Місяць тому

    They have this thing called a “funnel” which would have made a huge difference when filling it with water. The instructions on mine says “not recommend to fill with water, as water inside the bucket will move, and water inside will result in unfavorable smell”. You are lucky, your bag assembly arrived with all the hardware installed, everything on mine requires assembly.

    Thanks for the review and apologies for the mess. I appreciate you including the frustration points that we will all learn from in our installation. Any sense for how far from the wall to place the base given flex?

    • @MicBot

      Hi Mike, thank you for watching and leaving a comment! On top of replying to every comment and giving advice I do like to include everything in my videos. I try to keep it as raw and unscripted as possible. Everyone else does things by the book, but I like to do things my way. It provides a different perspective for everyone on UA-cam to watch.
      As for the bag, I leave mine about 6 ft away from any wall or object. That is mainly to give myself room to move around the bag. I think you can probably get away with four feet if you are working with a tight space.

    How would this be for delivering low roundhouse leg kicks? Like is the bag low enough for that and can withstand some decent kicks in it's lowest region? (say calves to above knee on a 6' man) or maybe you'd not hit the bag and instead the shocks? Thanks

    • @MicBot
      @MicBot  2 роки тому +1

      It really depends on your height. But I can safely say that you would probably hit the shocks. I also don't recommend this bag for kicking, unless you are just doing very very light kicks. I haven't used the bag since I made this review. Mainly because one punch sends the bag flying even with all the sand in it

    Hi, great review! I had a question, I've ordered the bag but intend on using it in my kitchen before I am able to move it to the garage. Anything to bare in mind? is the base easy to move around when you want to position it somewhere more permanent, I intend to put 25kg of sand in it when the bag arrives and not go too hard, or does this not matter ? thanks

    • @MicBot
      @MicBot  2 роки тому +1

      Hello thanks for watching! You will need 60kg of sand. At least that's what mine took. As for moving, if you are on hard wood or ceramic then you can slide it slowly. Just watch for the suction cups catching. You will also need to be careful not to break the bag off its bracket. Hope this helps.

    • @stingerfist
      @stingerfist 2 роки тому +1

      @@MicBot If I move it I intend to disassemble the bag and then move the base, if its too heavy to move, do you think it’s straight forward to remove the sand? thanks again for the reply

    • @MicBot
      @MicBot  2 роки тому +1

      @@stingerfist Removing the sand will not be easy unless you have a tool to assist you. If you disassemble it then it will be much easier to use.
      When I had to move it more then a foot, I used a dolly which made it much easier.

    The bag I got is solid, but filling is a pain. I got some sand for it but I need to dry (thanks Amazon). The suction cups aren't too great though but with weight in the base I can see this being a good piece of home workout equipment.
