    loved this apartment and this video! the only thing I'd like to see more of is footage of how the whole place ties together (a smooth walk through). Or even still shots of how the kitchen, dining, and lounge work together. Otherwise, really enjoyed!

      Was going to comment this same thing, it’s hard to get a feel for what the whole space looks like when the shots are all set up on a tripod. But I do love these videos so much!

    I said this in the last video, but I wanted to say it again. I LOVE this series so much. Showing regular houses instead of ones either re-decorated for a photo shoot or owned by people who probably literally use money for fire kindling because they have so much of it is so refreshing. It's achievable looks if you put in the time, effort, and budget and save for what you can't afford.

    Keep the tile! I have a colleague who is redoing their bathroom and just *yesterday* showed me a pic of it in progress and it had the same tile color scheme (with a bit of sap green + the warm colors on white). The tiles were a little smaller. I told them it was the coolest bathroom I had seen in a while and that it defied trends.

    I feel like these traditional moroccan berber rugs have never become as ubiquitous and therefor aren't perceived as "basic" here in Europe, the kitschy US-American boho style is not thaaat big over here so if it's combined in a more unique context, I also still love the berber rugs :D anyhow, cool place he's got there! thanks for showing us around!

    • @beccacha9166
      @beccacha9166 2 роки тому +6

      It can get so frustrating too! I am moroccan-american and I have a really amazing collection of amazigh (berber) rugs that have been passed down throughout my family. I am at a loss with how to style them anymore because I feel like people always perceive them as "boho" when that's literally not what they are at all.

Yeah the Bertoia versions are pricey but look so friggin amazing. I say change the bathroom tiles but he can still add a color pop somewhere. Love the cornflower blue top on you! Merci

      Just a PSA, in european culture is quite disrespectful to ask about salaries/rent/anything money related basically (obvs It doesn't apply to conversations with your coworkers. Always know if you're getting underpaid lol). I know that in US culture it's different and i know the intention was just curiosity but if you ever happen to be in Europe don't ask these kinds of questions :)

    One of my dearest friends is from Bordeaux. I visited him and stayed with his family about 30 years ago (holy crap). His family home was a gorgeous, Napoleonic era townhouse. Three stories above ground; wine cellar below, of course. The stairs were winding all the way up, and they were so effortless to climb, because each step was only a few inches tall. Not like American stairs that are impossible and cause arthritis in the knees! I also got to drive up the Medoc and visit some of the famous vineyards. Also, there was a cheese shop in town that you could actually smell the stinky cheese THROUGH THE GLASS! Wonder if it's still there...

This is the first time I’ve seen a bathroom smaller than my master bathroom. My master is soooo small.
