I am obsessed with this format for a thrift haul! My favourite thing about thrifting is the stories and feelings that come with each item, and the way you two tell them is *chef's kiss*
The round mirror is such an amazing find. Upon a photo search, I found out that it's designed and made by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1950s. I think the design is so beautiful.
Gien is a town known for it luxury pottery works/ dishware and actually has been for 2 centuries ! That’s why the woman at the thrift store freaked out about your bathroom cup
@@wasselpa Gien, Sevres and Limoges are sought after ceramic sources in France. If you are going to the UK at any point feel free to get in touch, I thrift all the time here.
Thank you Paige for being authentic and encouraging in your videos, especially this one. Having a warm, comforting, and safe physical space is healing. I love your videos! Please keep them coming.
PAIGE!! Can we see more styling/prop videos? Like how you style a coffee table, kitchen counter, nightstand, bookshelves…I want to be dazzled by your prop styling
Your tipsy narrations had me laughing out loud, with you not at you. I have a friend that i would go thrifting with and drink wine after, I mean vodka, but same premise. My friend’s name is Cate too, and we’ve been friends for 34 years! We met in the Army and have stayed close ever since. Great video!
Hi Paige, I just found your channel and I LOVE how you have kind of branded yourself the villain of the Interior Decor Community. It brings the much needed drama we all need to a space of goody two-shoes type people! Stay blessed!
Love this vid! Friendship - real, sarky, kind and mutually appreciative, sweet vintage finds, woozily humorous and so many other reasons why I love your channel. Cheers from the midwest! So happy for your adventures abroad.
I‘m only two and a half minutes into the video but I can safely say: more of that please. Also, LOVE the fabric of the sofa you’re sitting on. Awesome thrift finds! (I am a teeny bit jealous, especially of the the small hot lamp.)
Hi! Copenhagener here! Ok so I responded to another comment with this post but I see a lot of people asking where to go in Copenhagen… I don’t know EVERYWHERE bc I’m always discovering but these are all a good way to start…. For furniture I’m still struggling… but for vintage I would HIGHLY recommend Smukt Brugt way down on Amagerbrogade. Amazing, AMAZING taste. Additionally for furniture… don’t sleep on the countless Red Cross thrift shops… especially the one on the corner of Nørrobrogade. Now for a mix of clothes and decor… I recommend Lidt Køb in Østerbro… great, great place. Now for clothes… I’ve GOT you. In city center there’s a handful of streets where there’s Episode and Wasteland… just kind of wander up and down the street where the Living Room is on the corner/ same street as Wasteland and you’ll find SO much good stuff. Happy shopping! Copenhagen is so lovely! 🇩🇰☺️
Love this! Sorry if this was already said, but you might try a voltage converter for the lil lamp! You might be able to take it down a notch and use it easier/prevent a house fire. :~)
paige! i love everything you guys found! i would really love to see how you’d style a console table or entry way table or cradenza. including like what you’d put on the wall behind it. i have a cradenza in front of a classic just vertical line board and batten wall and am really struggling with how to decorate it and am trying to avoid going to target ha. would love some kind of mirror on the wall. anyways would love to see some sort of styling video for these types of areas! 🤍
Love this! ♥️ For the beads you could find a bead shop that will do the work or you seem pretty crafty 😉a few options: grab 20ish gauge half hard wire, make a loop and string then another loop, then attach that bib piece to whatever chain you want or grab chain that's finer and attach the clasp loops after slipping the beads on. admittedly both options make it more permanent than a swap out style but you could cut the chain, swap beads and it would only require a new clamp each time which is very inexpensive and takes a minute or so, reuse everything else 👌 or slip the beads onto fine gauge hoops/earring wires. Def use those beautiful vintage beads!! ♥️♥️♥️
Obsessed with the tiny mushroom lamp. Just put a tiny fire extinguisher next to it. Also.. love the tiny furniture. I am completely into miniature things. Like I'm a nut about it.
Try a tiny LED bulb in your mushroom night light. Keep on thrifting…..trust me, your taste will evolve😉. Danish design is a keeper. And the etchings and individual hooks….score!
You can just thrift an other salt/pepper shake for cheap and take the "plug" out of there and use it for the wooden one ;) just make sure in advance which size will fit :)
You two are great together, I loved seeing all your finds. Copenhagen is my hometown, although I no longer live there. I’d love it if you’d show bits of it, and I’m also kind of curious to see more of where you’re staying. I hope you enjoy your travels, make sure to check out Tivoli gardens.
Prices please! Also, some tips, Fanette Antiques Store (in the 15th,) is amazing...tiny, cramped, charming proprietor (opened by her mom, now she runs it) and amazing treasures. Also, Place d'Aligre has a junky market that no one goes too so you find great things for great prices!
It's exciting to see all the things you found here in Europe! Should definitly come to Antwerp or Brussels here in Belgium for some good finds 😁 its very underrated so a lot of the international thrifters don't come here, so often the best stuff is available still for really cheap!
Can't you just change the bulb of the tiny lamp to an led so it doesn't get hot? Love how in sync you are stylewise, wish I had a partner in crime for my hunting sessions.
this is giving me ideas of what to thrift during my stay in france next week ! Also, could you make a guide on BEDS ??? currently really struggling to find one that is practical, idek what to look for in style
LOVE that red and green plate, I think it's my favorite along with the art, British fabric designer cottage house vibes also you don't sound tipsy, you sound high lol
OMG this stuff is so good! I love the candle stick holder 🕯 You should do a video on souvenirs. My mom just came back from Niagara Falls & brought back this tacky mug that is just covered in different fonts saying Niagara Falls. Just ugly souvenirs & what souvenirs would be better to bring back.
Whoa! I thought you were sitting down with Parker Posey, who had dyed her hair blonde and aged backwards. They could be siblings or mother and daughter (I don't know how old Parker or your friend Kate are). Anyway, fun video. Give Kate the coat hook for her birthday or Christmas or something! Oh, and take the teeny tiny yellow lamp to an electrician who will re-wire it for you. It's too good to just not plug in. Or create a fire with. Also - one last thing - Kate's bottomless salt shaker. Get a chunk of cork from maybe a hobby store or something and carve it to fit in the bottom. Et voila! I envy your ability to buy whatever you like at this youthful stage in your life. I have acquired everything I should have acquired by now and anything else is superfluous and extraneous.
Love the vibe of this video! Thank you both. Random question, does Kate ever get that she’s looks so much like Kahlen Rondot from ANTM? Even the voice is so similar, I swear I did a double-take.

Love the wooden lamp and the one you got for your Mom. Your friend could always use a wine cork to stopper the pepper shaker.
Yes - this is how some of my vintage ones are plugged up. The original cork probably got old and shrunk or shrivelled up and fell out.
This was the weirdest, funniest, and most enjoyable thrift haul. Thank you, Paige and Kate, for the tipsy shenanigans.

Love that little mirror from Copenhagen. Gien Pottery is at least 200yrs old in the Loire Valley of France

You can use wine cork as a bottom for the salt shaker and cut it smaller as needed.
Yaaassss, love a nice chatty chill video ☺️
This could've been 2 hours long and i would've loved watching it just as much. More of these please!
That sofa is to dieeeee for

Just came from France and my last stop was Bordeaux. Vintage hunting there was soooooo good!!!! And Bordeaux is so gorgeous.
it’s so sweet that you guys care sm about what the other one thinks… reminds me of my friends ♥️

everything was cheap! I think the most expensive item I purchased was that $200 wood lamp but everything else was under $50!
wow that’s amazing! I did some research and the gorgeous mirror you bought sells for $600++ on 1st dibs and other sites! Such a good find!!
Cork would work for the pepper shaker

welcome back Paige!! :)
how do you use the lamps back in America? Aren’t they different voltages/outlets?
Almost sure the mirror is a Hans-Agne Jacobsson!! Never seen it in that specific shape though. Very good purchase🥲😍
Ironic, as I watched I had to move because of the sun too. Loved this video 👌🏻
