I find it interesting how you don't talk about the HUGE influence Kane had from the pulp novels chronicling the exploits of "The Shadow"; "The Case of the Criminal Syndicate", after all, IS pretty much ripped from one of the Shadow's stories, and the Bat-Man was meant to be a kiddier version of the Shadow, not to mention the crossover they had in the 1970's, which led to him taking on Grayson as an apprentice shortly thereafter.

That sounds like a pretty nice start to Batman. Nice work remembering all that and possibly all the research you had to do. I never knew Bob Kane had some influence on the Burton Batman movie and makes the Batman and Bruce Wayne in it, make more sense.

fun facts were that Bruce was visiting Gordon in the case of the chemical syndicate because this was originally classified as earth 2 batman who had police training which is partially the reason for batman using a gun until batman #1 1940 . this was explained in the earth 2 universe as part of Julie Madison getting an acting job in new York and Bruce wanting to have Gordon find him a desk job at the NYPD.

Can you do a lore/explanation video on the events surrounding new 52 nightwing? I haven't been able to get to my comic book store lately and from what I've seen online, nightwing might be dying or something its really Confusing. Having read those early issues, there's only about one or two things you got wrong. For example, Batman wasn't trapped in a burning building, he was just shot (which to him both murdering a guy and switching suits and Batman actually having to explain to his doc how he got shot.) He also didn't have a flashback, the origin was a story put in the beginning of the issue. But that doesn't really matter, seeing as to how this video is years old.
Went to Gamestop today, Got arkham origins, and it was used, when i got home i opened it and this skin DLC with the deathstroke Dlc.

The only thing that I can think of that could explain the purple gloves, is that they could just be rubber gloves for crime scenes. I used to be military police and we always carried rubber gloves that looked just like those, so that we wouldn't have our prints or contaminate certain areas. Also for blood born pathogens, as well. Since he's a detective, but doesn't want people knowing who he is, then it makes sense I suppose.

Just went back and read Detective Comics #27. It was actually pretty good (if you take into account the year it was made). Makes you appreciate the character a lot more as you can see just how many times he's changed. I feel like I need to read more of the old comics.
Anyone know where I can read them online? I don't want to go buying things almost 100 years old. :P

It isn't really something shocking that it was only 10 cents. In middle school, you learned that when inflation occurs the wages increase. This isn't really making you richer because everything else is becoming more expensive. So back then the wages were also lower which meant the prices weren't cheap at all.
