Can anyone recommend some novels that are similar to the Fantastic Four, in the sense that it blends elements and themes of family, action/adventure, exploration, and sci-fi together? Please recommend novels/books not comic books or graphic novels.
I love Cassandra Nova as a villain. I miss having villains who are psychotic, dangerous, pure evil, sadistic, and actually villains, not irredeemable sympathetic anti heroes. I will admit that she was underused as a villain and they told about her but never showed her past
I bet you really liked green goblin coming back for no way home, I loved it so much. I love sympathetic villains too but they shouldn't be as common. Straight up evil baddies are the way to go
@@SuperSaiyen64 we dont have much variety in synpathethic/redeemable villains, just ones that didnt do anything “that bad” according to society alot of the time so thats why they get redeemed
Worst villain since iron man 2. Generic bad guy, no back story, awful predictable channeling of something to destroy the world. It was like every bad superhero villain ever.
She was face fingering EVERYBODY! But I think Paradox got the best finger bang of everyone. It was great. Just so much happening I'm gonna have to watch it at least 2 more x to get a full idea of what it contains. So awesome. Especially big hair, one handed wolverine from the future. Deep cut 😅 In numerous ways! 😂
Yeah. I was happy to see it. It reminded me how good the Fox movies were. Yes! They had failures. So has the MCU, IMHO. Still, they walked so MCU could run.
The assault on Cassandra Nova's lair scene was everything you wanted in a fight scene showcasing their powers. Massive respect towards the stunt team, choreography, camera work, sfx team & director for that.
My theory is that Cassandra was supposed to be the next villain in the Fox X-Men movies before Dark Phoenix bombed, which even though she explained her backstory in the film, could explain why they decided to choose her out of any main villain for this film.
The overall vibe of the movie was fun, but I wish there was more plot to the movie instead of just "the universe is dying and I need to travel the multiverse to save it." I was expecting it to be that Deadpool is sent on a mission to assassinate someone and he needs Wolverine's help for some reason. Then there would probably be chases, twists, and complex interarching plot lines. But still a fun movie.
Spoilers I can’t believe we got to see Wesley Snipes return as Blade before we got to see Mahershala Ali play the character once. And no, talking off-screen in Eternals doesn’t count.
And literally right after this film came out Marvel announced BLADE would be their next R Rated film. So with Westley's line, is he just joking about all the production setbacks, or is he saying he's just going to step up and be Blade as long as they make Blade films?
The most "Oh shit.... yeaaaa!!!" moment for me was when Deadpool thinks Chris Evans is about to say "Avengers Assemble" but he ends up saying "Flame On!!" And BTW, the 2 fighting Deadpool Corps (especially inside the bus) gave me full The Boys vibe... Pretty new to my movie theatre experience. Overall, a banging good movie!! Me likey...
When Deadpool and Wolverine were in the Mad Max desert, you can see a Secret Wars comic. So, I think Deadpool and Wolverine will be in Avengers: Secret Wars and will play a pretty big part.
It definitely became one of my new favorite MCU movies, worthy to be part of the "movie so entertaining I can watch it over and over and I wont get bored" list
Did you know that Deadpool actually described himself as looking like Ryan Reynolds? I’m not sure what issue, but it was in a comic in the early 2000s. Along with that, when ladypool was first unmasked, the artist that drew here took inspiration from Blake Lively, as they were fans of Gossip Girl! So they are quite literally Deadpool and Ladypool
The movie was 10/10 in my opinion, and that’s even when the story was weak😅 it was fan galore and the music!! Oh my god! The soundtrack for this movie and its fights rivals with GotG soundtrack for me. So much of it was in Wade’s words Smashturbation 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🔥🔥
9:37 - “The Cameo characters all had the door left open for their return.” 😂😂😂 Did we watch the same movie!!! They all wanted their ending! X-23, Blade, Gambit, and Elektra we’re all losing their battles, being stabbed to death, and dying honorably when Alliath came in and ate everyone there! This was to end the Fox Marvel universe and give an honorable ending to those characters (Except Johnny, who Deadpool did NOT get killed. Johnny said to quote him!)! The only characters this left an opening for are Hugh’s Wolverine and Deadpool and his cast. 😊
The only thing that could have made this movie perfect would have been a cameo of Spiderman. To someone my age this was a perfect conclusion of the FOX comic universe.
7:35 - SPOILERS: That is NOT Vinny Jones, who played Juggernaut in X:Men: The Last Stsnd. Deadpool even points this out by saying, “You are like the Third Juggernaut We’ve had!” This was referring to Vinny Jones, who wouldn’t come back and complained about his costume being uncomfortable, and “the actor” who voiced the CGI Juggernaut in Deadpool 2 (Ryan Reynolds😊)! Aaron W. Reed (Dude in Free Guy) played this Juggernaut. 😊
Robert Downey Jr was so good as Iron Man, Arris said "Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool is up there with the likes of Tony Stark as Iron Man or Chris Evans as Captain America".
Marvel pulled off the best Wolverine. Fox could have never. They made him actually have abilities other than healing and claws. He actually have super human strength lol and that fighting style is way better too he looks trained as he should
I loved that this movie was a love letter to 20th Century Fox and its characters like it said that Marvel Studios ans Disney will honor and take care of these beloved characters they made unto the big screen and that 20th Century fox won't be forgotten. That being said.. is Wolverine vs Predator a possibility? 😅
So does that mean the podcast is finally coming back? If so will it be coming back more frequently? Seems like every time it comes back it then disappears
I was happy to see Gambit on the big screen. Big fan and thought Channing Tatum did a great job. The only thing I didn't like was you could tell he couldn't move his neck. He walked so stiff. And I always feel Gambit would of been a lot tall and thinner. But I was happy to see him on the big screen. Going to see the movie again tomorrow
only problems was how the heck pyro beat the human torch (who can go supernova) and blade not having a bigger part everything else was executed perfectly
Saw this movie on thursday here in sweden and all i can say with the comic knowledge i havee.. 10 of 10 deadpool points. and if you havent seen the movie yet, i strongly recommend you do.
I know we’re ALL feeling the Marvel exhaustion. The Infinity Saga will always be legendary, while the Multiverse Saga….has certainly left us wanting at several points….but event movies like this continue to and will ALWAYS bring me back….If for every 10 “The Marvels” or “Thor Love and Thunder”’s we get just ONE of these movies? I am on fucking board. 🙏🙏🙏
Why was it when Nova was moving through Logan’s memories it was mostly about the verse of Logan and fox past Wolverine over this universe Wolverine memories of how his team fied
What the hell man?!?! You say, No Spoilers, then three minutes in, you show Wolverine with his cowl on?! That's a huge, fun moment in the movie that comes as a surprise when it happens, but you say "Screw ya'll, I'll take the trust you had for me when I said no spoilers, and smash it into the ground." Not cool at all man.
I havent seen it and am in no rush to see it, will definitely see once released on digital.... but you sold me on Blade and lost me on Gambit (smh, why? Tylor was right there)...
A moment of silence for those who never got the chance to see Hugh Jackman finally wear a comic accurate Wolverine suit alongside a fully accurate Deadpool

Agreed! Great villain just under used in the movie. But she was so OP, Wolverine and DP had no chance in a real fight
Worst villain since iron man 2. Generic bad guy, no back story, awful predictable channeling of something to destroy the world. It was like every bad superhero villain ever.

Loved how this was like a thank you and goodbye to Fox. I was really surprised and that credits "clip & song" was perfect
Yeah. I was happy to see it. It reminded me how good the Fox movies were. Yes! They had failures. So has the MCU, IMHO. Still, they walked so MCU could run.
Electra being okay with her Daredevil being dead crack me up 😂😂😂
That end credit scene was the sauce 👌 🙌 I didn't know he had that much of a potty mouth in him . Well done sir 😂😂
It wasn’t him tho. It was someone else😉
you could see hulk's face in the reflection of the claws
"Tony Stark as Ironman and Chris Evans as Captain America".. Well, RDJ is the embodiment of Tony, so no lies there.
I know I was gonna say 😂😂😂😂😂
A legit Freudian slip that solidifies why RDJ is so iconic in that role
When he made that slip up I knew my people, sci-fi/comic book geeks, were gonna run to their keyboards to correct him! 😂
Not anymore he isn’t ;)
I saw this after they just announced RDJ as Dr. Doom
The assault on Cassandra Nova's lair scene was everything you wanted in a fight scene showcasing their powers. Massive respect towards the stunt team, choreography, camera work, sfx team & director for that.
I like that they made Cassandra a kinda playful villain. The finger ability actually worked and looked horrible to go through.
My theory is that Cassandra was supposed to be the next villain in the Fox X-Men movies before Dark Phoenix bombed, which even though she explained her backstory in the film, could explain why they decided to choose her out of any main villain for this film.
love it when human torch sh*t on Cassandra after end credit😂
2:02 RDJ was so perfect for Tony Stark, he literally called RDJ as Tony Stark
Saw it love It can't wait for the super duper uncut version
Channing Tatum was great but anytime he spoke all I could think about was “I am Jeff” 😂
EXACTLYYYY BROOOOO
Same.
Lil correction he said "My name's jeff"
The overall vibe of the movie was fun, but I wish there was more plot to the movie instead of just "the universe is dying and I need to travel the multiverse to save it." Spoilers
I can’t believe we got to see Wesley Snipes return as Blade before we got to see Mahershala Ali play the character once. And no, talking off-screen in Eternals doesn’t count.
“There will only ever be ONE Blade.”
Of all the cameos that one made me say whoa out loud
And literally right after this film came out Marvel announced BLADE would be their next R Rated film. So with Westley's line, is he just joking about all the production setbacks, or is he saying he's just going to step up and be Blade as long as they make Blade films?
The theatre in which I saw it all collectively cheered. It was like seeing Charlie Cox's cameo in No Way Home. Amazing
@@kaineshigaraki5253a freaking badass 4th wall break, loved it.
You brought up DogPool but didn't even mention NicePool 😂😂
His last scene had me in stitches 😂😂
@@jeffhardysoul 😂😂😂
I can't wait to see this!
I haven't been to a movie theater since IT two.
Thank you for this breakdown!! I'm about to watch it myself.. 10.45am Singapore time
this movie was 100% fan service and I'm all here for it.
This version of Wolverine was the best we have ever had on screen. What a time to be alive.
The most "Oh shit.... yeaaaa!!!" moment for me was when Deadpool thinks Chris Evans is about to say "Avengers Assemble" but he ends up saying "Flame On!!"
And BTW, the 2 fighting Deadpool Corps (especially inside the bus) gave me full The Boys vibe... Pretty new to my movie theatre experience.
Overall, a banging good movie!! Me likey...
Fun fact. The Welsh Deadpool was played Paul Mullion. The star play for Wrexham
Wrexham represent!! Nice catcj
Tony Stark would definitely be the best Iron Man. RDJ was the best we can get in reality lol.
When Deadpool and Wolverine were in the Mad Max desert, you can see a Secret Wars comic. So, I think Deadpool and Wolverine will be in Avengers: Secret Wars and will play a pretty big part.
I remember variant comics starting out of film riot. It's crazy that it's now my absolute go to
It was kool that they brought back x23 as well
The beginning credits part was by far my favorite scene
When wolverine putted on his yellow mask and suit my inner nerd came and jumping up and down and he got to use his crawls that was awesome
watched it this morning pretty good movie all around
It definitely became one of my new favorite MCU movies, worthy to be part of the "movie so entertaining I can watch it over and over and I wont get bored" list
Oo mate its been years since i saw ur videos.good to be back.
This movie actually made me excited for the MCU again, something I havent really felt for years now
Did you know that Deadpool actually described himself as looking like Ryan Reynolds? I’m not sure what issue, but it was in a comic in the early 2000s. Along with that, when ladypool was first unmasked, the artist that drew here took inspiration from Blake Lively, as they were fans of Gossip Girl!

Just got out of the theater and all I have to say is, LETS. FUCKING. GO.
With the edition of Disney plus and THIS movie giving us more X-Men content... marvel has made me a Fan again 🇦🇺🇨🇦💛♥️
Did anyone else notice Deadpool’s interview with happy was 1 week before Infinity war.
I've just seen the Deadpool and Wolverine movie and I freaking love it ❤if there was ever a movie to save the marvel movies this is it ❤😊👏👍

Well, X-23 also.
Really cool to see a movie review video from this channel again.
Drop that Ultimate History of Deadpool video.
The "skate uphill" line sent me through the roof ❤❤❤❤❤
The only thing that could have made this movie perfect would have been a cameo of Spiderman. To someone my age this was a perfect conclusion of the FOX comic universe.
I liked the Marvel fox montage for the end credits.
Can you do a history of Sabretooth, Pyro, and / or Avalanche please 🙏?
I got a GL New Guardians #1 signed by Tyler Kirkham from Detroit Fan Fair. The man is a legend.
They did cast Tomy Stark to be Ironman perfectly 👌
It's everything we ever wanted and was delivered. Props to you Deadpool. You save the MCU for all of us.
I just watched Mission Impossible Fallout the day before as well.

I hope Batman will have white eyes on his cowl in the DCU , much like Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine.

Tony stark as Ironman is just perfect
IT WAS FANTASTIC !
I was hoping the end maybe would’ve done the “Deadpool Kill The Marvel Universe” to reboot the MCU but still overall a good movie
The Calvarine.! U know why they did that 😏
2:02 love how he said perfect casting is up there with Tony Stark as Iron Man and Chris Evans as Captain America 😁

I'm burned out on Superhero movies but I liked this movie a lot. It was fun. I even bought the Babypool popcorn holder at the theater.
I honestly thought the 3rd act is gonna lead to the incursions, considering we are heading for Secret Wars
With all the issues in the next blade movie, will there be a chance they make Wesley the new and only blade?
I want to see Nick Fury ( Samuel Jackson) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) meet in the MCU
How are you able to get away with posting screen grabs of bootlegged copies of this movie? I've seen this on Heavy Spoilers and Grace Randolph too.
Wait- Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, I thought he was Dr. Doom
Awesome movie seen it twice already
Same really wished a bigger tie with greater MCU. "I'm marvel jesus" was a let down
Ngl i liked the byrne suit more than the suit we got for the majority of the movie😂
only problems was how the heck pyro beat the human torch (who can go supernova) and blade not having a bigger part everything else was executed perfectly
Crazy how this wasn't even rated 18 in the UK , it got a 15 rating
I loved this movie so much. I saw it twice already and will see it again next week. It just hit everything it needed to hit for me.
Wolverine is awesome 😎
I loved this movie It was a dream come true

Wait.....What are the copyright issues going on with the hulk?
Young bucks the greatest casting was the first and second Batman , from Keaton ton jack to Michelle to Devito , it was way before its time
I’m surprised Legion didn’t show up

it wasn't vinnie jones as juggernaut, original costume from x-men 3
watched the movie I give it a awesome/10 movie was super fun and the wolverines cameos so freaking sick
Why was it when Nova was moving through Logan’s memories it was mostly about the verse of Logan and fox past Wolverine over this universe Wolverine memories of how his team fied
Vinnie Jones was the OG Juggernaut
They should just take advantage of the hype now, and get the Old Man Logan movie made and put it out.

I enjoyed it and would easily give it a 90 but I think this time, the critics score of 80 made sense.
I've been saying that forever pls give batman the white eyes that they have pls it works
