Goku biting his opponent is a running gag of the real show. there are several opponents he has faced that he has ended up biting. Even Whis, a being who is in a constant state of Ultra Instinct (a sort of state of being where you fight and dodge without any actual thought), a being many many many many MANY times more powerful than Goku, whom, as far as i know, Goku has never even been able to touch in all the time hes trained with him, managed to get a bite in on him, simple just because Whis did not anticipate Goku would actually bite someone in combat.

Vegeta’s death speech was far more dramatic in the original series and Goku’s 20X Kaioken Kamehameha is definitely a top ten attack in DBZ. Both scenes are worth checking out at another time. Another great reaction and it only gets better.

The contrast between Goku and Vegeta is shown well in the abridged series. Vegeta: You'd be dead and I'd be laughing Goku: Gives Vegeta a proper burial and calls him his best buddy
This episode's interactions are probably some of my favorite of the entire series. Goku and Freeza are just playing off of each other perfectly - the tyrant who has been in control this entire time now utterly unable to deal with the idiotic man-child who absolutely no-sells his menacing aura.
Two notes: • The scores listed at 7:39 are their power levels at this point in the series, in order of Frieza, Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan, and Ginyu (poor Krillin is not listed, though imo I would put him above Ginyu at this point). Frieza, Goku, Piccolo, and Ginyu's are officially stated (the former two in a guidebook, the latter two in the series proper). Gohan's is an estimated number _and_ is only while he is calm; which explains why it is so low. Vegeta's, though, is kind of weird. He is put below Piccolo, but it was shown that he could react to Frieza's fourth form attacks when Piccolo couldn't. With how Ki and power works in Dragon Ball, this should naturally make his power level higher - possibly by a lot. A more accurate guess thrown around by fans is 2 million, which is perfectly between Goku and Piccolo's power levels. • The combination attack done by Goku at 11:15 is a mix of a barrage in Kaioken *x20* (this isn't stated in the abridged, but it is in the actual series. This is the highest the Kaioken multiplier has gone up to by this point, and it is the highest by a _wide_ margin) followed by a Kaioken amped Kamehameha. The combo (yes, the _entire_ combo) is usually pretty simply called the "Kaioken x20 Kamehameha" by both the games and fans. I'm putting attention on that scene because it is my favorite moment in the entire Goku vs Frieza fight. After taking the hit in the actual series, Frieza panics for a bit because _it is the first time he had ever felt pain in his fourth form._
(In the german dub) = "Our fathers..our mothers, brothers and sisters were enslaved by him, forced to do his bidding and then he wiped us out because he feared us....The more the Saiyajins fight the stronger they become. In the original, Frieza does acknowledge that Goku is different from anyone that stood against him. So I love how TFS took it a step further with Frieza being thrown off by everything Goku says and does.
Not sure of anyone else has mentioned it (yet), but the scoreboard shown at 7:42 is actually the respective power levels of the top 6 characters in the series (so far); 50% power Frieza (Full power is at 120 million), Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Gohan and Ginyu. It’s funny to think back to the start of the series, and how someone with a power level of 1,500 managed to kick around Piccolo and Goku at the same time ^^
In canon, when Goku hit Frieza with the Kaio Ken x 20/Kamehameha, Frieza threw a tantrum because it actually caused him pain. It was the first time Frieza had ever had anything close to a challenge. Of course, a few moments later, Frieza flexed his power and showed Goku that he was still horrendously outmatched.
Nice to see how you've been genuinely enjoying yourselves more and more each episode. Looking forward to this season's finale and the hilarity that is season 3! 😊
The show has really hit its stride and done a great job showcasing the characters so that we care about them. Because we had no bias coming in with anyone, it’s all based on their dbza personalities 😊🤗
The "pinball" score names were the strongest people of the Namek saga, and their score was their power levels. Like GOK was Goku, with a max power level of sixty million (using a twenty times Kaioken). Frieza maxed out, at this point, at one hundred and twenty million.
Imagine this too, Frieza has never trained a day in his life. As powerful as he is it seems it's just his innate ability and he's never had to actually work for his strength or faced an opponent that actually measures up to him. I can't remember if he mentions having to ever use his final form in the actual series but at this time in the story this is probably the first time he's facing anyone in a serious fight that can even withstand one of his attacks, let alone keep up with him and hold him off. We only know of a few members of his species and most of those (outside of one in DB Super) are all within his family so it's up in the air if his race is just that powerful or if his family bloodline has something special about it.
In Dragon Ball fighting was like a game to Goku, even when he takes it serious he still finds it fun and exciting. While the dub in DBZ would often try to make Goku into Superman *including altering lines of dialogue like having Vegeta say Bardok was a scientist, which is not in the original or supported by anything else* and Goku giving speeches about truth and justice when he really just wants a good fight and to be pushed to become stronger. Dragon Ball Super restored that aspect and is more faithful to the original...granted Goku's thirst for battle can be...problematic.
I remember vegeta was actually pierced through the heart but his pride kept him alive long enough to cry and plead to goku to kill frieza with his sayian hands. While burying him, goku explains he wasnt raised in planet Vegeta, so he doesnt understand the sayian pride stuff, however he understands vegeta's grief, so he asks vegeta's corpse to give him a bit of that sayian pride in order to take revenge for his race. Like, goku in some way finally accepts that he is a Sayian raised on earth, and a sayian will defeat frieza and take revenge for the sayians, the nameks, and the countless races frieza has ended
In December, you should react to TeamFourStar's DBCember lists. They're basically the DBZ Abridged crew listing some of their favorite aspects of the franchise (iconic moments, movies, villains, video games, fights, techniques, transformations, and arcs) in a Top 24 or Top 12 format, they're a ton of fun, and they'd help you guys learn a bit more about the series.
Appreciate the suggestion. But we want to avoid spoilers so will be something we check out once we wrap the series 😅 even if it’s not December when we watch them 🤗
Vegeta's death is actually really sad. He begs Goku to forsake his mercy, because Freeza has none he'd offer; he'd eventually find Earth and destroy it. He pleads for Goku to remember he's a saiyan and that Freeza killed all of them minus a select few. The Saiyans did everything Freeza asked of them and more, but he killed them anyways out of paranoia that one would eventually become strong enough to challenge him. He actually cries and as much as he has done many terrible things, he's not even close to as vile as Freeza. Goku does hear his pleas and does honor to at least defeat Freeza, mayhaps in the hopes Freeza will be humbled and know that someone stronger than him is in fact out there and that there may be more. Edit: Dunno if anyone mentioned it but the pinballs scores were the character's current power levels.
I love how emotionally invested you both are even though this is a parody. I think you both should absolutely check out the real series once you finish DBZA, since DBZA doesn't cover the final arc of Z, and then you should go back and watch original Dragon Ball and then Super.
Late to the comments this time around, but I am here. This is where we finally get to see Goku going all out with the best showing of Kaioken until it makes a return in Dragon Ball Super years and years later. Goku is using Kaioken x10 through most of this fight, but that instance where he fires the Kamehameha is a Kaioken x20 boost. Kaioken x4 used to completely bench Goku against Vegeta in Season 1, and here he is utilizing the form *twenty* times over and he's still in the fight. I did hop into the Patreon to see where you guys are at, and knowing you are at the end of Season 2, I wanna ask before it's too late: where is History of Trunks on your viewing schedule? Some people insist on watching it at the start of Season 3, but that causes certain scenes to have less impact, so it would be better to view it... I think somewhere in the 40's? Can't remember where exactly, but it's like halfway through the season. Going to go straight to the leaderboard update as I don't have anything to really add to this particular episode. Had a good time, though! Goku's Kaioken x10 is the power he is running most of the fight, x20 being the Kamehameha blast at the end. Frieza's been holding back this whole time though and now he is going more serious, so his strength is much higher. Goku can match it, but... Only briefly. Look at those five digits. Vegeta wasn't kidding when he said power levels are bullshit. Somehow they get even more insane before the fight is over. Frieza (Final Form): 40,000 Raditz Goku (Kaioken x20): 40,000 Raditz Goku (Kaioken x10): 20,000 Raditz Goku: 2000 Raditz Vegeta: 1666.6 Raditz Frieza (3rd Form): 1413.3 Raditz Piccolo (Fuse with Nail): 833.3 Raditz Frieza (2nd Form): 706.6 Raditz Gohan (Enraged): 666.6 Raditz Frieza: 353 Raditz Gohan: 166.6 Raditz Captain Ginyu: 80 Raditz Krillin: 50 Raditz Recoome: 30 Raditz Jeice: 29.3 Raditz Burter: 28 Raditz Nail: 28 Raditz The Great Zambino: 20 Raditz Piccolo: 18.6 Raditz Captain Ginyu (Goku's Body): 15.3 Raditz Dodoria: 14.6 Raditz Cui: 12 Raditz Guldo: 6.6 Raditz Appule: 4 Raditz Namekian Warriors: 2 Raditz Dende: 0.01 Raditz
So when Frieza puts ASS on his high score the scores are actually the power levels of the characters. With 6. Ginyu - 120,000 5. Gohan - 200,000 4. Vegeta - 250,000 3. Piccolo - 1,000,000 2. Goku - 3,000,000 And of course 1. Frieza aka Ass - 60,000,000.
One thing I like from the show is the fact that everyone on king kai's planet is like it's ok goku isn't even using the kaioken yet and King Kai is like you fucking morons he's been doing it the whole time. It really showed how powerful Freeza was during this fight and I wish TFS coulda worked it in somehow still they did an amazing job.
I would strongly encourage you to try and watch Vegeta's death scene in the official dub. Preferably the Kai version, because it's got the best voice acting. It's a genuinely emotional moment, that really humanized Vegeta's character. In the official version, Goku was using the kaio-ken all through the fight, just in such small, momentary bursts that his body could handle it (the other fighters remark on it wondering why he isn't using it; only King Kai was astute enough to realize he had been using it all along, bursting in and out of it so quickly it wasn't visible). He was having to use the kaio-ken x10 just to keep up with Frieza. The kamihamiha he fires that Frieza blocks with one hand was using the kaio-ken x20, which is the most Goku could handle at this point. So Goku x20 is basically only equal to half Frieza's power (which is all Frieza's using right now).
ya should accept vegeta's death its dragon ball, death is more of an inconvenience than a tragedy or ending as picollo said "wish me back and that wishes Kami back, then you can use those dragonballs to wish these morons back"
Yep it's not just in Abridged that Frieza is like that That is actually why a lot of people like Frieza He is so sadistic and so egotistical... he very often likes causing horror to all his enemies before he kills them

😂 love that you’ve actually tried it 😋
I think DBZA Goku's stupidity confusing his enemies is his REAL special ability!
I’m hoping you guys will continue releasing these every few days because DBZA is hilarious
Every Sunday and Wednesday 🥳🥳
Your reactions to these episodes are just so good, cannot wait to see how to you react to the rest of the movies as well, they're most excellent.
Glad you’ve been enjoying the reactions as much as we have been enjoying this series 😀🥳
The "pinball" score names were the strongest people of the Namek saga, and their score was their power levels. Like GOK was Goku, with a max power level of sixty million (using a twenty times Kaioken). Frieza maxed out, at this point, at one hundred and twenty million.
Loved when y’all reacted to Luetin09 warhammer40k stuff but this.. THIS is way better. Love watching this w y’all.
To be honest I always die when vageta said “oh god your the last remaining saiyan
How she glared at Frieza at 2:36
If you guys haven't checked it out yet... Team Four Star's "Hellsing Ultimate" Abridged is friggin 🔥🔥🔥🤣
Ah General Mountain. He made quite the impact.
Frieza’s mind being broken by Goku’s utter stupidity is just hilarious. Frieza is deserving every bit of suffering he’s getting! 😈
"I refuse to believe that he's dead so there's no way"
He lacks critical information
That makes us want to cheer even more for Goku against Freezer. For Vegeta! 🥲💪
The scene in the main show where Vegeta dies is one of the saddest moments in the show.
In December, you should react to TeamFourStar's DBCember lists. They're basically the DBZ Abridged crew listing some of their favorite aspects of the franchise (iconic moments, movies, villains, video games, fights, techniques, transformations, and arcs) in a Top 24 or Top 12 format, they're a ton of fun, and they'd help you guys learn a bit more about the series.
while like the abridged series they expect you to know stuff about the show, they are very informative nonetheless
They *do* have a lot of spoilers though. Maybe for next year...or if they manage to blast through the rest early :P
i honestly wouldnt reccommend watching anything that might spoil later parts of DBZA, just my opinion
@@myrkrormr well to give benefit of the doubt i think the OP meant after they finish the show proper
if its not this year theres always the next
Appreciate the suggestion. But we want to avoid spoilers so will be something we check out once we wrap the series 😅 even if it’s not December when we watch them 🤗
11:20 Honestly they somehow managed to make the most intense kamehameha in all of Dragonball
(This just an opinion)
You both are going to love the last episode of season 2. ^_^
Goku: Grabs Frieza's tail and spins him
Frieza: Throws up
Krillin: Huh what's that? (vomit hits krillin)
Krillin: Grooooooooooooooooooooooosssss!!!!!
Owned count: 27
7:40 psst. Those are their power levels in that situation, but don't tell anyone.
Vegeta 😭
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Indeed, he deserves the gun salute
I love how emotionally invested you both are even though this is a parody. I think you both should absolutely check out the real series once you finish DBZA, since DBZA doesn't cover the final arc of Z, and then you should go back and watch original Dragon Ball and then Super.
One of the best episodes, glad you had fun watching it. :D
And now you've seen the Kaioken ×10 (or 20 depending on the dub). Most powerful version of the technique up to this point.
Eggman vs Wily Death Battle.
Frieza (Final Form): 40,000 Raditz
Goku (Kaioken x20): 40,000 Raditz
Goku (Kaioken x10): 20,000 Raditz
Goku: 2000 Raditz
Vegeta: 1666.6 Raditz
Frieza (3rd Form): 1413.3 Raditz
Piccolo (Fuse with Nail): 833.3 Raditz
Frieza (2nd Form): 706.6 Raditz
Gohan (Enraged): 666.6 Raditz
Frieza: 353 Raditz
Gohan: 166.6 Raditz
Captain Ginyu: 80 Raditz
Krillin: 50 Raditz
Recoome: 30 Raditz
Jeice: 29.3 Raditz
Burter: 28 Raditz
Nail: 28 Raditz
The Great Zambino: 20 Raditz
Piccolo: 18.6 Raditz
Captain Ginyu (Goku's Body): 15.3 Raditz
Dodoria: 14.6 Raditz
Cui: 12 Raditz
Guldo: 6.6 Raditz
Appule: 4 Raditz
Namekian Warriors: 2 Raditz
Dende: 0.01 Raditz
Now Vegeta and Nappa can hang out. *FOREVER*
😂 some good dark humor there
Goku number one move bitting tails 😂
So when Frieza puts ASS on his high score the scores are actually the power levels of the characters.
With
6. Ginyu - 120,000
5. Gohan - 200,000
4. Vegeta - 250,000
3. Piccolo - 1,000,000
2. Goku - 3,000,000
And of course
1. Frieza aka Ass - 60,000,000.
Frieza crazy op 🤯
Her face at that intro broke my damn heart
🤗 those were some well read lines. We really felt the pain in Vegetas dying voice 😭😱
Can't wait until you guys get to the android saga
ya should accept vegeta's death
its dragon ball, death is more of an inconvenience than a tragedy or ending
as picollo said "wish me back and that wishes Kami back, then you can use those dragonballs to wish these morons back"
🤗
Yep it's not just in Abridged that Frieza is like that
That is actually why a lot of people like Frieza
He is so sadistic and so egotistical... he very often likes causing horror to all his enemies before he kills them
Such a good villain 😈
Its called Vegeta's Final words
"I will not accept Vegeta's dead!"
Guys guys, Goku died in episode TWO.
This was another classic hilarious episode
Tbh that grave is too good for Vegeta😂
Cold blooded 😝
I have to budget, so i can't support on Patreon yet, but gosh dang, do I want to. I really wanna just pull ahead and see your reactions.
That said, question: I know this was uploaded with others on the first of this month, but how long before it reaches Patreon do you pre-record?
When you guys finish DBZ Abridged. You should definitely watch HFIL By Devil Artemis. But I suggest only after you finish Dbz abridged
Thanks for the recommendation! 🙂
Don’t worry about Vegeta. Do you really think death is going to keep him down? In this series? Just wait a bit.
I BEG YOU ... please watch the normal version of the part where vegeta dies. It's one of my favourite moments in the anime and it pulls at your heartstrings
No seriously Kaiowhat. Lmfao!
Freeza is a threat to your vitality
Goku is a threat to your sanity
So what you're saying is, Goku is an eldritch horror from beyond the stars.
Goku is Cthulhu.
Haha, well said 😊
"Hey mon!"
Frieza and thanos would be unstoppable
Don't worry. Death is solved always by dragon balls-
Episode 29 is gold!
This Friday you guys should do sauron vs lich king
Also, dont forget dbz abridged kai for the frieza saga!
Hey one of my favorite couples of the world, here I am bothering you guys again, this time not to whine about my life(thankfully), but to make a suggestion, you guys should react to a video called "The Best of Berserk Outtakes", apparentely its the REAL OUTTAKES from the ORIGINAL voice actors of the english dub from the 97's anime version of Berserk(not 100% sure, but 95% sure at least haha) and it is HILARIOUS, its only about 9 minutes long, and you don't need to know the full story of Berserk to have a blast watching it(actually its better if you don't know, else some scenes can get pretty dark :x)
Well, thats it from me for today, love you both, gonna watch you guys reacting to the masterpiece that is TFS' DBZA
BOOGGITTY BOOGGITTY BOO I'M VOID i'm out!
Thanks so much for the suggestion for some berserk stuff to check out 🙂
6:41
This is dragon ball surely no one will be dead for long, right? .... right?
They wouldn't kill off their best character would they?
Tune in next week to Dragon ball Z to find out!
