- I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Oh no he is going to drain the Everglades! This is definitely on my watch list. :)
😄
Clever.
All with his rake:)
@@donallmccrudden4812 And his high boots. 😂
@@MikeStallings2023 oh yeah, them too, can't forget the high boots and high viz:)
Welcome to FL! Gonna be 90 in a couple of days!
Spanish moss is a bromeliad. From U of FL: Contrary to popular belief, Spanish moss is not a parasite. It's actually an epiphyte, meaning it gets all of its nutrients from the air and rainwater. Spanish moss does not need to be removed from your trees. It actually has an important role in Florida's ecology.
Many animals use Spanish moss for protection, taking cover in the thick masses. Insects love to hide out in the moss, too. Spanish moss is also a significant component of the nests of several species of birds, including the parula warbler and the Baltimore oriole.
Happy Birthday from Delaware
The thing to know about Spanish moss is to avoid it because ticks and chiggers make it their homes.
moss also kills trees when so much is in it it is beautiful
@@sandman4384specifically because it can block out all of the light! Its crazy!
Thank you! 🏞 The "wink" sound-effect for the turtle... love it. 🔸 That's called Spanish moss. It's all over Louisiana, too.
This Oilfield Yankees first time seeing a Louisiana trees low-hanging Spanish Moss, seriously asked my crew if the Water actually got that high, not knowing what it was !
First time seeing; this Oilfield Yankee from Pittsburgh, asked crew if the Louisiana Spanish Moss that was low hanging in trees near Gulfs coastline related to how high the water had risen !

Post 10 out here draining the swamp! Post 10 for president '24!
Trump will drain the swamp
It’s always a joy following you and your lady friend. Thank you for bringing us along. Wishing yall a safe and happy journey!
@48:23 That fish is a Florida Gar fish. They say it is a prehistoric fish, some get as big as 10 feet long and weigh as much as 300 pounds. I’m happy that you are having a great time in my neck of the woods. 😄🐊
Such an amazing and awesome fish! Too many call them ugly lol I believe they are beautiful creatures!
Oooh a new video. Post 10 .. know this.. I have very much enjoyed your company. I travel around with you and share your adventures. Last night I spent the evening watching you track a moose.. and I've never felt happier . You bring many people joy and I hope you know that. I'm glad your childhood involved everything but technology .. we need more people like you in the world. Take care.
Just sad, the amount of turtles on the road, thx for helping them, Post.
Hello Post 10. That is a soft shell turtle and they have a very long neck and can reach to it's very back to bite and will not let go. Be careful picking them up. A lot of people in Ga. and FL. eat those things😜lol. They are painters. I encountered one in the corn field on the west side of Ga in the others banks of Cairo. I've got pics of his paw prints and is way bigger than my fist.Enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe where ever you go and do and pray God's protection over you. God bless🥰
I love soft shelled turtle fried up. Tastes like chicken with a slight fishy flavor.
Thank you for taking us along on your adventure,, Ive seen parts of America I'll never see in my life,
The spider at 25:10 is a spiny orb weaver. Super cool looking spider that's not dangerous to humans. Nice to see Post10 exploring SoFL.
Wow - anyone unfamiliar with said spider should google it. Never seen anything like that before (West Coast resident).
Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery. I enjoyed the tour.
You're a true friend to humanity.
As a native spanish speaker, I'm very grateful to you that on each sign you showed the english text and the spanish translation. Learned a lot of new words in english today!
1st Big turtle was a soft shell turtle & it was laying eggs,
I think that was a Florida box turtle, thanks for stopping and seeing him or her safely off the road! Sandy Fielding identified the second turtle
You look happy Post 😊, I'm glad you're getting to spend some quality time with your fiancee.
So delighted that you got to see the part of the world I love. Forty years ago, we used to have panthers and bears come thru the yard. One bear loved to fish at the end of our bulkhead. Way back then we only had 1 neighbor. Thanks so much, Post.
WOW ! I never expected to see you here while it's warm enough for lots of skeeters. They get really bad later, but they never go completely away in Florida especially the glades. I've enjoyed your videos for multiple years now. TYVM
The stuff draping out of the trees is Spanish Moss, which is a flowering plant - not a moss or lichen. It spreads by wind blowing its seeds from place to place.
Welcome to Florida. So glad you came to visit us. Looking forward to watching your show.
Thanks for sharing the adventures. You certainly are getting your money's worth out of your truck. Would love a video with your review of it now that you've been putting those miles on it and in all sorts of conditions. It looks like it does you well.
Thanks for posting, have a great night.
You were wielding that stick about like Harry Potter 🕸️🕸️🕸️🕷️
Thank you Post 10 for another great video and thank you for sharing your adventures
Very cool to get a closer view of this area since I live on the other side of the globe!
Post your videos never disappoint, thank you for sharing your adventures! Stay safe and always be awesome 😎
I just came back from the keys on a trip nice to hear you enjoyed it as well
best hour investment watching this in a long time :D great video
What a beautiful park. Watching this video makes me want to go and visit!
Love the way post details the world he sees.
You were 30 minutes from me. Glad to came to my state.
I didn’t know turtles 🐢 could jump like that 😂! You should’ve brought your fishing rod 🎣. I’m sure you both had a wonderful time together. ❤ from Maryland
The "Long Pointy Fish" looks like a Alligator Gar. If you can, check out Ocala National forest, Many crystal clear spring fed rivers and lakes.
I hope you had/having an awesome time!
The man is prepared with boots
Wow post 10, you brought back some awesome memories as we lived in Naples Florida and we explored and camped in the Everglades. I hope you take rout 41 and stop along the way. Thanks for the video, the mosquitos are unreal at night as we use to call them B29s. Have fun and be safe.
Thank you so much for the awesome videos of you trips. I can’t travel much so I travel through you. Thanks for the great content. ❤️❤️
Really cool to watch and see how much you appreciate and respect nature all the way down to the flies on the ground on the trails! Thanks for taking us along
Post10 have been NE to down south!!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO POST10 😊
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video, thanks for sharing your Everglades trip! 🐿🐢🦫🐸
❤ i really enjoyed this video.. can't wait for the next one x
Very interesting, I’ve never been to the Florida area before. Thanks for showing us around there. It was very close to actually being there.
Can’t wait to watch this one.
@51:09 these plants, we call in Florida, are airplants
Thanks for taking us with you post
Thanks Post 👊🏻👍🏻Appreciate you my friend 🙏🏻
Post10 always has the best videos.
While here in FL, do not put your paws in the water without checking for moccasins, gators, etc. Pretty much everything here will bite, especially those soft shell snapping turtles. We have seriously nasty spiders also, the spider you saw with spikes are crab spiders not dangerous but the spines hurt.
Have fun
58:45 that circle cut in the left of the railing for that massive tree is really cool, shows how old the boardwalk is
this was so cool! thanks
The big trees are Hammock Oaks. Huge.
Yes ! That video was interesting 👍👍 Thanks for taking us along !!
I visited Florida and the Northern Everglades this January from Canada and it was a great time. So cool to see a lot more of the wildlife there in this video!
the soft shell turtle at 5:10 is digging a hole to lay eggs, not pooping
OMG! I have been a subscriber forever. Finally you are visiting my State! Welcome and have fun!
Hanging on the tree branches is "Grandpa's Beard," aka, Spanish Moss. Don't touch it unless you want to meet chiggers, spiders, and various other creepy crawlies up close and personally.
The steady cam was awesome while you were offroading, so smooth!
I’m from western Pa. And visited the Everglades, a few years ago.
We took an airboat ride which was awesome. It truly is a beautiful, unique place.
Watch your channel, it’s nice to follow you in another part of the country.
Cool video. Love the Everglades
I visited back in the 80s.
Quite the change from Canadada,🙂 Great Video as always!!🦫🦫
You're a true Horsefighter!❤
"And if you look in camera #2, you can see the allegator sneak up on me from behind as I'm distracted with this clogged drain."
I can now say I've been to the everglades, thanks great video.
The first turtle looks like a Florida Box Turtle, the second, third, fourth one’s are Florida Softshell Turtle, the fifth was a Chicken Turtle.
That was a Florida Box Turtle at 2:40
Surprised you don’t have box turtles back at home? We have them on Long Island
Those large soft shell turtles were. “Common snapping “turtles. Be careful!!
Loved your video. You look at life as I do. You respect life, enjoy it, & help when you can. You enjoy everything!
Your beaver videos are great also. Great content & commentary! Keep them coming & I’ll keep watching!❤
Thanks for moving the turtles! So many get run over sadly, so do panthers. They get hit by cars which is sad because there's not many panthers left.
That waa pretty cool. Thanks for letting us tag along Post.
Everglades. Wow.
This is the area I grew up in. So cool to see you there! Spiny orb weavers are awesome!
Thank you for this video. I lived in FL for 10 yrs and I miss it. That 2nd turtle is a leather back. There are some spiders in FL that their webs are so strong you can hardly break them...that little stick you had wouldn't have done anything. lol The river you saw, they're called canals in Fl...dug out all over the state to help with flooding/water control.
51:13 those are bromeliads. Those particular ones are Tillandsia utriculata, native to the state. 52:03 - Tillandsia fasciculata. Thanks for the tour!
I enjoyed this video, I want to see more like this in Florida, thanks for this post❤👍😎🍮
New vid! Cool, thanks, stay awesome
I'm from the deep south, I love your videos and I just gotta ask how was the heat & humidity down here? Bet you weren't used to it at all.
Not as bad as I expected
@@post.10 Haha well it's good you came in spring and not summer. I don't know how you can tolerate NE winters, anything below 60F/15C is cold to me!
A front (probably our last of the season) had just moved through so he timed the visit perfectly!
Welcome to Florida! Fun to see you discovering everything. A lot of people have helped identify some of the wildlife already, I wanted to point out that the burned areas are often deliberately done by forestry workers. Wildfire is part of the natural cycle in Florida, and it's essential for the health of the ecosystem. A lot of our native pine species can't compete their life cycle without fire. It might not be the prettiest to look at, but it's a sign of a healthy forest!
Also I'm now dreaming of a Post 10 / FishingGarrett crossover video.
WTF! You were just up in northern (Communada). Quite jumping around! 😛
Love the videos
What type of cameras do you use
Kinda wild seeing a video from Northern Ontario and a video from Florida on the same day.
I like to travel with you. Seeing all this great nature, not a documentary, really better than that!
that's an awesome place. enjoy the trip!
Great stuff keep it up.
Post10-have boots, will go off road! 😂
So glad you took us on this trip, but all those spiders I'm glad I was sat at home 😂😂😂😂 great video ❤
Almost forgot Post ,! welcome to the south😁🥰🥰
Love the yellow Crocs!
Crocs in croc land✌
Nice weather
I love your vids😊
6:12 that is called "Spanish Moss" and you will see it all over the Southeastern states (that is where I have seen it)
I miss living in Florida at times. The nature is awesome and of course the beautiful beaches and lots of entertainment. Now I live in Arkansas and it's completely different.
This is good ole fashioned wholesome fun, what UA-cam was meant to be, Thanks Post!!
Thanks Post 10 for this awesome trail video.😉👍 Lots of beautiful nature to see and discovering cool spots, and lots of turtles crossing the road😂
0:18 Turkey vulture flying top right👍
Not sure how far into florida your going, but give gatorland a try, and don't miss the show :-)
I did give fried alligator a try. It tasted like fish and had the texture of chicken in my opinion. And I also tried gator jerky but couldn't find 100% it had cow. And pig mixed in with it, but it was mostly
@@post.10 Its an alligator sactuary, there's hundreds there and you can feed them
@@post.10 Yes post 10 -- gator is beach chicken!
Stop for 🐢🤗it had cool markings .
Spider, spiny orb weaver. One of my favorite.
Hope you stop at the Okefenokee in Waycross, Georgia. The park there has a really interesting canoe ride with a guide.
Greetings from the UK!
