This video just hit my feed5 days after the upload date, I just turned post notifications ‘on’ I’ve been enjoying the Supra content and I’m glad you’re pumping out more stuff that we fvck with dude. Excited to see the next video about the Supra.
Love your videos. I have an 88 myself that I'm currently building out for NA-T. I can confirm, these cars feel like a never ending process; there's always something else you want/need to do. My wallet hates me lol
@@mainstreambuilds For real! I'm a year into my build now and it's still in pieces. Motor is done, just finishing body work/paint and electrical. Hope to be done by spring car show season here in Indiana.
@GodlikeGTZ It's a nice little feature. Ive heard it's not necessary in some cases, but my cam and crank sensors sync together to help with ignition on the ecumaster.
wait you have a youtube!? lol wow I am blind I've been following your Supraluver page for a little while now and talked to you a few times about the 7m-ge-T build. definitely gonna catch up on your channel. good stuff man!
Had one and wish I hadn’t gotten rid of it. After I fixed a ton of wiring and replaced almost everything worn out, it turned out to be a really good car. Great GT but not really a nimble carver. Part of me actually thinks it is a better looking car than the Mark IV.
@pitt42075 oh man! I almost sold mine and so glad I held onto it! They are great cars with a little bit of work. I might have to agree with you as far as looking a little better than a Mark IV.
Sick stuff man I dig the car. My brothers mk3 I am helping him with is kicking my butt. Parts are hard to find for these cars I may have to do a CPR kit to see if it's the issues his has.
Very nice build! I have an 87 7mgte ecumasters classic, hx35 with 3" mandrel pipe and screamer pipe, walbro255, port matched head and oversized titanium valves, bored 20 over block. I run about 18psi self tuned, Tein FlexZ springs, Electric Steering column conversion from a 13 Scion xB (no more power steering fluid). I have trouble with the MLS headgasket keeping sealed. I've heard some run an oem headgasket with ARP head studs and actually have better luck with sealing. Can anyone confirm this in my range of boost. I currently seep boost into the cooling system and have to purge cooling system after a drive. And if I get roudy with it, it'll blow out a freeze plug or whatever else is the weak point, lol.
@panicmech that sounds like an amazing build! Id love to see more on it. I would also like to do that electric power steering conversion too! As far as the headgasket, I haven't heard about the stock gasket working. I've been running the cometic gasket for a while now with no issues. I ran an HKS metal gasket and that one started leaking and gave me major issues. I wonder if someone else on here can confirm the stock gasket with headstuds. That would be pretty cool!
@Dynamic.velocity Hey thanks for checking out the channel! I actually have a handful of videos on my channel where I go over various parts on the car to accommodate the turbo and the supporting mods. Unfortunately I don't have a full motor build as this was done several years ago before starting my channel.
Let’s go!!👌 a shop opportunity!! Sheeeess!!
@@wilsonbarbosa4668 keeping the fingers crossed it all works out!
@@mainstreambuilds yes brother!! 🙏🤞🤞

@Ringlandz90 hey! Thanks for following the channel. Haha yeah the struggle is real with these cars but you just can't help but spend more money.

@@mainstreambuilds Actually, IIRC, i was told to use a cometic, but not MLS?.. my memory sucks.
@panicmech I have the cometic MLS on my car and havent had one issue. I think they have different material gaskets too
You turned a 7MGE to a turbo? Do you have a build video on how you did that? I use to have 2 MK3's back in the day and would love to get in another.

How did you make your window trim look so good?
@carlwebber3214 when I got my windshield replaced a few years back safelite auto glass replaced the trim and did a fantastic job!
