For some of us around the globe, the 'near PNP' SKU (i.e. fully assembled, no receiver, no VTX) is a lifesaver, as getting any model aircraft with radio onboard (or even unattached but in the same package), through import clearance is a bureaucracy nightmare at best, or simply impossible. Hats off to BetaFPV and Speedybee (and possibly other manufacturers) for offering these SKUs.
What whould be a better alternative for indoor flying with naked gopro? If this one is to powerfull/fast Would limiting its power and rates maybe the right way to go with this one?
Yes I think applying something like a 75% throttle limit would help with indoor use. Another option would be to use props with less attack angle. After all is said and done though, I think a lot of practice using it indoors focusing on throttle control will be the biggest factor for success.
Thanks for watching! Yes it's a bit unique, and there are good and bad things about it. After fixing the CG and relying on the GoPro SD card access over the O3 Air Unit SD card access, I think it will serve me well.
Thanks for the compliment! I have to buy all the DJI drones I review and make videos for, and I was a bit strapped for cash in 2023. Maybe I can do some content about upcoming drones soon, but I need to buy them first.
Iam having the same Center of Gravity problem on mi cinelog 35v2, it's too much front heavy also with the go pro bones. any idea yo round this problem? Thanks
If you have a 3D printer, you can print this which scoots the GoPro backward a bit. I don't recall if I had to resize it for the v2 or not. www.thingiverse.com/thing:5590153/files Mixed with a repositioned battery, you should get good COG with the Cinelog 35 v2. If not, you can always remove the XT60 plug from the frame and run it out the back so that the battery can be positioned even further back.
How do you seem to get such good range? I’ve got the Pavo25 V2 also with the 03 using the DJI controller but when I get like 50 yards away I start getting the yellow distortion on my goggles 2? Can I use a better antenna with my 03 air unit? Thanks and great video.
That's odd. Are you using 50Mbps transmission bitrate, and is your OSD working to indicate that the full transmission power is unlocked from Temperature Control mode when you arm? I was using the v2 goggles with stock antenna.
Check out the new Pavo25 v2: bit.ly/491GQR6

Great review Ed . I’m actually thinking on getting it 👊🏻👍🏻
Sweet! No quad is perfect, and I think I can make this one work pretty well for my needs.

thanks for the review, 👏👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for stopping by after all this time!
Thanks for your review, I think I should skip v2 because the black on each side if I take a slow speed indoor flight…
What a terrible design😅
Could a walksnail moonlight fit ??
Yes I think so!
Ed Ricker, the name I hear so much. Nicely orchestrated review ✌🏻
Rock on! Thanks!!
Is the usbc absolutely impossible to get to?
Yeah pretty much without removing the screws of the frame and disassembling it a bit.
Interesting that they don't sell it with a vtx. I like this form factor though.
Nice and thorough review, Ed.

Hi sir why didn't you make a mini 4 pro video, your way of talking about drones is crazy ,

I will check that out. Thanks for the information.
The quad is in a state of low power video mode when disarmed to prevent it from getting too hot. Make sure it goes into fulll power when you arm it.
WoW! who let the bat out of its cave....lol. posting only one video per year now. Good to see you again
Haha yes I'm still here! Thanks for watching
