I can vouch for this specific monitor, it’s actual night and day going from 144 to 240. but really guys not the time to take a sponsorship then immediately say it’s the best
I have the XL2546K. It's good and I like it, but it's very expensive for a TN 240hz 24 inch monitor (600€ when I bought it). For everyone it isn't worth it. Only issues I've had is that the DisplayPort somehow just stops working. I've had a replacement in the past and then it worked for a while, but now again the DisplayPort broke. I didn't want to send it to the support since they said that they are not sure if the repair will fit in the warranty or if I'd need to pay for it, so I just decided to use HDMI instead. Good monitor anyways.
Have two monitores, the 1440p one is many years old and never had a problem. Maybe you abusing your cables to much idk
Most Pros do not use Dyac as it causes eyestrain and input lag.
It causes eyestrain (it really depends from one person to another, there are people that can play with DyAc+ easily for like 12 hours and won't have any problems) but no input lag and most pros actually use it
What about oled?
DyAC+ adds latency. Its objectively terrible. The MSI MPG 271QRX QD-LED 360hz 27" is significantly less latency and better colors and contrast than anything Zowie makes. Don't confuse sponsorships and free gear with good.
Every big gaming monitor company uses this feature today (other name but same tech) but yes, zowies version works the best, when it comes to "normal" displays. On the other hand the image quality and colors are awefull on this old fashined TN panels. I have two zowie monitores, so i know, what i am talking about.
I terms of eSports performance, only the new OLED displays are better, even with lower refresh rate. Their image is by far the clearest and best colorwise.
I had the previous 240hz and it failed outside of warranty. Zowie dont care.
Bought one a few years back and it's great. Doesn't have the dyac thing but still good.

Zowie still holds the spot in esport world because of how they look to the players, they don't care about color accuracy, they care about performance; that's why they still uses TN panels, but the function outweighted the forms

I have a 240hz Alienware display and I'm really happy about it. I play CS with FPS colours option and dark stabilizer with gsync off. It's been over a year and I can definitely see my improvement specially with flicks and peakings.
We wonder if that one gaming monitor from a company that sponsored this video is any good at all?
The viewsonic Xg2431have a better motion blur reduction and is cheaper

No other monitor technology beats motion blur in comparison to BenQ Dyac, most monitors have overshoot issues when analysed under a good camera or dorsn't add significant impact like Dyac

You can get the same monitor the MSI MAG251RX for 200$ less and it's an IPS 240hz with the same technology as Dyac which is basically backlight strobing. Zowie selling selling those TNs for way too much money
Sadly the DyAc feature works better than any other version from other brands. Now you can ask yourself, if this slight difference makes up for the way lower quality panel in terms of image quality and colors xd
Zowie needs to make an OLED soon or they'll be left behind like they were when they were slow to adopt wireless.
Define soon cause oleds current gen of monitors are already there minus a few issues. Needs work but it also needs to come down in price.

in terms of visual clarity, to beat dyac+ you pretty much need to get one of those ULMB2 monitors that literally cost twice as much as the Zowie ones. Yes you'll get way better color accuracy and a better experience for movies/casual games, but you're paying literally double to get that. Literally all Nvidia achieved was making zowie monitors seem like a good value proposition compared to what they used to be
@@schiedinator8074 for the price, nothing is better. Zowie has the best monitors for fast esports games. Only this fancy new OLED panels, which cost +1000€ are better. Better colors, image and less blurring. But still zowie is pretty expensive and you need to ask yourself, if you really need the best of the best or maybe u dont play on such a level to even feel the difference. This doesnt mean you have to be a pro player but for a normal casual gamer, its just not worth it. The image is really bad in comparison to IPS panels and you really notice this. Every video, every other game, every picture looks bad. Only buy zowie if you really want to play on your highest possible level eithout spending +1k on a monitore.

Yeah no. Removing light bleeding from a panel will NOT! improve your recoil it wont even reduce ghosting (that has other causes!). You can argue that the 240 hz will help you in fast situations, yeah but are 240 hz worth it over 144 ? Not at these prices and not if you don't have a GPU that can actually work the screen.

Or you can just find a used Asus TUF VG259QM or VG259QM - check the firmware version to make sure it supported the hidden menu for 120 Overdrive settings and no 1080 monitor will come even close to the value you’re getting. No pixel overshoot no nothing.
How about just go to RTINGS monitor reviews, and see that Zowie scores badly on every front....

Oled isn’t quite there yet, it’s the first generation of oled monitors they still need some work. Plus they’re mighty expensive. Give like 2 maybe 3 years and we’ll start switching to oled on a massive scale
