I've never done bead work. Looks great and agree the possibilities are endless. TFS 💜
You are welcome
I’ve never used beads in my crochet. But I have so many ideas now!! Thank so much for sharing.
🤶💚🤶💚
Yeah!!! They are soooo much fun
If you use a bead needle it goes alot faster. Super pretty!!
Oooh good idea…
The beading needles have a long slot that you could put any size yarn in. I used to make lots of jewelry. That's how I know about the needles.❤️🙂❤️
That would pretty wall art. In form of a Christmas tree. I used to beading and crochet bead work with wire. Thanks for sharing!!! Have a great day!!!
Yes! It would be awesome on the wall! Oooh with wire! Sounds so fun
Very nice! Love the beads
Thanks Glenda
Wow kim that is absolutely gorgeous
Thanks Lisa
Pretty!!
Thanks Mary
Oh! I've never seen that yarn at my Dollar Tree. Love it!
I wish there was a recycle type craft store in my area.
Egore- there are some online.
Make and mend
Thistle creative reuse
Are just 2
Very pretty. Haven't seen that yarn at my store. I've done beaded crochet twice. Made cowls for me and my mom using Vanna's choice glamor and seed beads.
Oooh sounds delicate and lovely
That would be pretty on the Christmas tree.
I agree quilty

That was good info! Thank you!
You are most welcome
That is very cool. I have croched with beads before. I did it on shawls. I made the mistake of using the wrong size beads with my yarn. Needless to say it does not work. I think I will try it again using my 2 or 3 weight yarn see if they work. I did use the same method loading them on. I have a ton of beads so now I am inspired to try it again. I think it would also be fun to use that type of yarn and beads on the brim of a beanie hat. I remember using a different lighter weight yarn which did not match very well then tried crocheting the matching yarn over that to hide it. Where there is a will there is a way lol. It is a lot of work though so I have not done it in years. Time to try again Since I have a lot of beads.
Yes Marion! I also have a decent bead stash! I have been doing beading since jr high!! I can’t wait to see what you create
Thank you for sharing. I have not put bead on my crochet, but a goal for next year
It)’s so fun Delphine
I haven’t ever seen that yarn at our Dollar trees and I haven’t ever used beads in crochet because I didn’t know how you put them on. So I think you put them all on the yarn you are using and then you just kept pushing them down your working yarn as you keep using yarn and then you place the beads as needed? Thanks for showing this and I loved how yours turned out!! Much Love and blessings ❤️
You are welcome Karen!
Funny, from your thumbnail I thought you did a Christmas tree! 😂 like you weaved the strand back and forth onto something for wall art!
Can you show how to put beans on as you go instead of preloading. I can’t imagine how you would add beads as you crochet.
Lol!!! That is a great idea!!! It does look like a wall 🌲! I can for sure do another cid on adding beads as you go.
Like your hat! Will you be doing a tutorial on it? What yarn did you use, it is pretty!
Sharon - it is a pattern / tutorial by Days crochet
oooo where is the recycling place. I live in Massachusetts
The one in RI is no longer open. However Make & Mend in somerville is awesome! They also have an online store you can check out! I am also in Massachusetts
The end result is very pretty, but you totally lost me with this tutorial. It would have been nice to see how you got started adding the beads. Also, for demonstration purposes, a smooth yarn would have shown the stitches better. Were the translucent beads you used glass or plastic? Your said something about Czech glass. We’re you referring to these beads? I’m a beginner so I guess everything has to be spelled out for me..
Broella- these are plastic “pony bead” type. I had said to not spend a ton of 💰💰on fancy glass beads. I can do another with smooth yarn for sure. Thanks so much for the helpful feedback
