People debate about who’s right and who’s wrong “Rumples doing his best she should be patient it’s hard for him” “Rumple keeps hurting her, she’s had enough, she shouldn’t have to deal with that” I find it difficult to side with either of them at times, there’s their character arc, balancing each other out The role of the dark one doesn’t just make you a practitioner of dark magic You are the host of a dark entity, it doesn’t control your actions but it has a great influence, it give you some fucked up ideas and twists them to make them sound good, even if you know they’re not And the magic itself is highly addictive which is why he became the dark one again He’s an addict with voices in his head Best real life analogy would be a drug addict who’s also fucking schizophrenic, Belle is not just his wife she’s his moral compass, she’s the perfect blend of therapist and sponsor, he needs her but she gives up on him entirely too often, and even flat out ignores some of the good that he’s actually done But then again rumple can’t be sided with either He kicks the addiction several times but keeps on coming back, he deceives Belle countless times, he hurts other people, he relies on Belle to be his moral compass but practically never follows her home It’s not until the very end of season 6 that belle and rumple have a true relationship, the ship has taken its voyage and it was a stormy one
That's so beautiful... As you said he is the dark one, and from what i've seen in the show, especially when Emma turned dark, is that what really can drive you away from holding to the dark side is a child! Rumple turned to his best when he found Bae, he even sacrificed himself and killed his own father to save them, then Bae died and he went all dark again, and to save Gideon he fought the darkness, and killed his own mother and saved them again, and once he had his son back, he became the man Belle dreamed of... so yes Belle is his compass, but his sons are his ever North!
Well he did not do anything wrong this time it was his mom so as long as you believe it will happen it just gonna be slow and take a while they should end this series quickly belle rumple and son go live in world without magic don't give a shit about everyone else lol
Still after all the stuff he put her through I wouldn't believe him about anything! #brokenpromises and that all sounds like it'll happen if they don't put Gideon in jail.

He lied about the Dagger yes, but after having been kept controlled, locked in a cage and abused/mistreated for a year because of the power it had over him it makes sense. She shouldn't have made conditions when Zelena had been stopped. Yes he tried to hurt (or should I say chose to leave it be) the town in season 4a but he was trying to free himself from the one thing that had traumatized him the most, and to keep his powers to protect those he loves (Belle and Henry). He didn't care about the Town because they abandoned him to rot in Zelena's custody. She used his Dagger to control him multiple times which is abusive. Yes, he took the Power back in season 5 but he didn't owe her anything, she had left him. In season 5b and 6a she kept trying to force her way onto him. She didn't listen and kept making irrational decisions that put both herself and the baby at risk. First insisting to force Rumple to turn his Dark magic into Light. Impossible and a waste of time. Your baby is at stake, and you're fighting a God. She decided to decline Hades offer to let Rumple send Gaston into the River of Souls even though it would save their child 🤦🏻♀. Of course Rumple didn't kept his promise and directly went after Gaston. It's the perfect opportunity to save your child why decline such a deal? And then she accused Rumple of making her do it to Gaston even though it was entirely her fault by intervening and thus still condemning their baby to Hades. And worst she put herself into a sleeping curse (it is very hypocritical of her btw since she was the one who insisted they shouldn't use Dark Magic), thus endangering both herself and the baby. Do you imagine a new born being sent to the Flame Room? And don't get me started on all her stupid drama in season 6a when she is the one who orchestrated (unknowingly) their son's kidnapping by abandoning him just to spite to Rumple who wanted nothing else but the child happiness. And she never admitted it was her fault or even apologized. I am sorry while I loved Belle from season 1 to season 3, this Belle is too stupid and hypocritical for me to like or sympathize with. More importantly her hero obsession annoys me the most.
@@SchultzDorinda i agree with you on a lot of points...tho i wish to point out that no one abandoned him to zelena's custody...they tried to break him free, but ultimately it proved pointless without the dagger, which they couldn't get from zelena cuz zelena always had it on her person. as for her nonsense in 6a, rumple did try to use th sheers of destiny to sever gideon from his fate AND the evil queen framed him for dosing her tea with a potion that speeds up pregnancies...so belle had every reason to send gideon away...she didn't know it was the evil queen not rumple.
@@matthewwhite4564 if Belle hadn't ran away from Rumple because of a dream of a child not grown enough in her belly to have a brain yet, maybe he wouldn't have felt the need to use the Shears of Destiny. Running away from Rumple with his baby no less, is highly triggering. As for season 3b I agree with you, although I can't help but notice that they do not care about him, they only went to him because they needed his help. Everytime Rumple needs help they just leave him be, it is why I cannot blame him for not caring about them in return.
