There is one thing I don't get... You don't apply new adhesive to the battery and the glass. Why not? Should it not be glued back?

Looks so easy when you have the correct tools. My method of yelling and hitting things doesn't seem to work so well.

But is the adhesive still holding the front panel properly once you've loosened it up during the teardown?

John McClane idk why she didn't mention it for any of the parts but anything that had adhesive on it needs fresh adhesive applied to it for the re assembly.
