Found these settings to be rewarding today while wading (6.6g 10k and 12.1g 14k). I live in Cayman so we have white sand and coral rocks. Silencer 2, full tones, bottle caps 0, sensitivity 95, SALT SENS 1! 24khz, iron volume 10, REACTIVITY 0! audio response 6. Run tracking and accept magnetic, 9" coil...running salt sensitivity at 1 eliminates the little falses caused by the sand ripples. I can even run 40khz underwater. Happy hunting.
9" coil will run 40khz pretty stable. Ive always heard of higher frequencies in salt water blinding the detector...true?

@@Marc-bp4dv you have a clean sand with no trash, here need to used bottle cap at 3 and magnetic denied with the 9 coil or found a lot of garbage
My arch nemesis on these beaches is Aluminum Standing Seam Roof. Pieces as big as my leg down to my fingernail. It's not pleasant
