I’m sat in a hedge, watching this with a hw97k waiting for rabbits

Thank you for the video..11.72 pounds for 500 in Canada. In 22 there one of the most accurate out of my 97..at 15.7 flbs.. But there is always a flyer... Now using HN FTT in 22 at 5.54 just as accurate no flyers. But much harder to find over here.

I also have a problem remembering which pellet I zeroed which rifle with from session to session, so I put a sticky table on the scope lens cover, with the pellet type written on it. Sometimes a larger cross drawn in marker pen works well as an aiming mark, just put the cross hairs on it. Sometimes if you shoot at a dot, and hit just off it, you start to chase the pellet hole, and end up with a larger group because of it. Also, try putting your forward hand between the rifle and the bag. HW's usually do well with H&N FTT.

I do find that once the aim point has been shot it's harder and harder to concentrate and aim at it accurately anymore.
The camera probably cuts it off, I have got my hand supporting the fore end. It's something I want to experiment with and prove as the best grip compared to too tight of a grip, too loose and unsupported

Exactly, for some fun no need to be spending a fortune if they are consistent and accurate

Don't know about cheap, These crosman premier are about £15 a tin in .22, That's only £3 cheaper than a tin of JSB's, I've been using H&N Excite hammers for a while and they are very impressive for the price, Got 5x250 .22 for £29 from uttings, Not to bad.

Nice shooting Keith, little tip here, when using splatterburst targets use a marker pen and put a tiny black dot in the centre, as others say aim small miss small 👍👍👍

I know I've got a few things to experiment with for sure and this helps a lot

Aim small miss small mate the dot of the tip of the marker not a dot of .25 or .30 cal sometimes u have to bring the mag up slightly but so long as its defined u can see it better on white card aswell as a clearer sight scopes a hawke vantage I think I've found though I own a few the reticle stadia on a hawke are quite thick aswell so it's task 😂ceossman premier domed or the ultra mag we're the pellet 20 year ago I used to have a hw77k loved the rws superdomes 3 shots touching all time keep going the most popular challenge is the what does it like to shoot cheers for the video 👍👍

I like the Superdomes and Superfields in the springers, cheap, clean and accurate.
It's certainly a challenge when the mil dots are larger than the aim point 😆

The real secret of the crosman hollow point is in 22 caliber. Most crosman 22 are visibly crooked and have miss centered tips. The dimple evens out everything and straightens the flight.. for the same price.

Funny how some pellet designs work better in one calibre or the other??

@keith6930 it's more that all other crosman 22 are rubbish. 177 gets away with imperfections more easily.

If you can get them try the domed ultra magnums instead of the hollow points, they seem to be way more consistent through my Diana 48.

I think I have some normal domed that will get a go as be nice to see how much the hollow point head affects the group sizes

Looks like good grouping for a springer. I see a lot of pcp's that don't look any better. Do you think that sub 12 is more accurate than fac?

      Thanks,
Not sure TBH? I know velocities can affect the stability of projectiles and ultimately accuracy?

    aim small

I agree and something I'm hopefully going to try and prove next time out
