Oh my gosh this is a really great way to make the flying geese would never thought about that so excited to move on and try this I have made them before a couple different ways so thanks for the video awesome thank you
Thank you! I have avoided making flying geese for a decade because I am bad at the method where you sew smaller squares to opposing corners. I had forgotten about the half square method. Thanks in general. Your generosity at demonstrating ways to make various quilts is priceless.
Well, I’ve started. Found out my expensive MODA layer Cake isn’t so square but I’m giving it a go! The first few had to be pinned and ironed, trimmed. 😂I got them from a youtube buying store and bought a charm pack and a bit of yardage as well but you give such great directions and I can move as slow or as fast as I need to. I love the way you teach, no pressure. My iPad can be stopped and started as many times as I need! 🎉
Ooh I love how this turned out! Beautifully simple. I have a layer cake that would look amazing with this pattern. And it will be a birthday gift in December so I have time 😮💨
I like this idea - quick and little waste. Simple layout that doesn't get confusing. I like the simple quilting design too. Another good one! Thank you so much.

Nice because even a beginner can do that❤️
Even me, I think! 😂 Thank you, Moonkin, for a great beginner friendly pattern! 🥳
Another great quilt!

I have always felt intimidated by the flying geese, but you made it look doable! Flying geese here I come! 🤭🤭🤭
Starting one today! Perfection! Thank you! 🫶🧡💙

I love flying geese! My only change would be to spray starch before doing any cutting to help keep the bias edges under control better.
I starch a lot but not with 10” or smaller precuts as it shrinks 1/2” on one side. Sew Becca has a video explaining this.
@@dianesozio7035 maybe it’ll end up a bit smaller but I’m fine with that.

Also since they get trimmed down, it may work out fine👍😍
Wonderful pattern. Thank you for your great ideas.
Love the simplicity of this quilt! I will definitely make this one soon. Thank you
wow, how easy is this , and beautiful too, thanks for another awesome pattern
You're welcome 😊
Love!! ❤❤❤
Love it
I can do this!❤😂
Maybe this would cure my serious aversion to HST's!
I used to hate them. Now I just maked them slightly bigger and square them to size. It was worth the extra time, and my quilt came out beautifully.
El mejor tutorial de gansos voladores 👏👏👏👍
Gracias por estar 😊🤗
Thank you! 💜
Another GREAT quilt. Thank you.
Thanks for another useful pattern. No waste is a bonus!
This looks like a nice, quick quilt for a gift or donation. Thank you.
Simple and easy! My granddaughter really wants me to make this one for her - but larger 😅
