- hiii guys!! (๑-ᴗ-๑) today's video is extra special because I will be dyeing my dark brown hair RED at home omg. If you are interested in the product I used, it is the manic panic semi-permanent dye in the shade Vampire Red (no bleach/peroxide needed).

@@emilyjames3110 I used vampire red on my hair and I have dark brown hair! It showed up really well in the sun and was subtle in indoor lighting.
You've convinced me. I've been going back and forth between manic panic or artic fox. I dyed my hair without bleaching in a burgundy color, my hair is naturally black but under the sun, it does have brown undertones. So the end result was a very subtle amount of color under the sun.

i know it’s too late now but hair dyes differently if it’s been dyed in the past, so actually if you used a stronger developer, your natural hair would be made lighter when dyeing anyways
Mine turned out very similar and I'm so happy with it omg
I also used Manic Panic just a strand cuz I wanted to see how it would look on my hair but it's staining a lot! It keeps bleeding too
Can some pls help me! I want to dye my hair cherry red but I have brown hair with bleached highlights, should I dye my hair fully brown before adding the red color so it will all be an even color or will the brown and red mix and the red won’t show up?

i just did a strand of my hair with the vampire red to make sure it was actually red and not a hot pink type of tint. I washed it off after like 40 minutes and the strand of hair is like a really dark hot pink… is it because i didn’t put enough?? My hair is more brown and lighter than hers, with some red reflects naturally. Can someone please help a girl out ?😅
hellooo! so im planning to do this exact same thing with the exact products- do i need to mix the manic panic and jazzing or should i just do the manic panic? im going for a more subtle look…first time dying hair so im doing semi permanent cuz im nervous
from my own experience just manic panic with conditioner should suffice...

@@ch3ezp00fs5 I know the feeling :( I would first try manic panic with conditioner on a little part of hair and then see how that goes and If you're happy ... cause it can get expensive (I dont know if you have long/short hair) and if it doesn't work, then talk with someone at the hair salon... they can put some hydro. peroxide and then it will lighten it up a bit to see the red...

It faded completely after about one month!! But it really depends on whether or not you have bleached your hair in the past or plan to bleach it before dying it. With bleach it will stain for a loooot longer. Hope that helps!
