Everything the Devastator says is spoken with such strong emotions of hate and rage. It really shows when he says lines like “YOU WON’T HURT ME AGAIN!” Everything the Devastator says is powerful.
Lets be honest, Superman could squash Batman instantly if he really wanted to. Doomsday virus with kryptonite breath is a pretty effective weapon though. Well done Batman.

That's a big hint to Jason Todd getting killed by the crowbar. Perhaps that Batman is someone who was driven insane by Jason Todd dying or some twisted version of that scenario. I just strongly feel it has something to do with Jason Todd. Maybe instead of Jason being captured, it was Batman and his mind broke into this Joker version. Idk, but I can't wait to see what the origin actually is

Theoretically this particular batman isnt straight evil. He was betrayed by his friend and had to kill him to save the world. It even said he was so affected by the fact that he couldve saved them but couldnt. So hes more vengeful than evil althoigh hes still insane lol
