    I don’t know why I watch this show after 10EST because I can’t go to sleep until 1am! Jeez the nurses and doctors are so good and that is across the spectrum. It’s the systems the governments put into place that makes it bad.

      this is the version of the ER, NO ONE is turned away from the ER for lack of money, ask half the illegal population that uses it for bumps and bruises as well as more serious illness and injury. @@nancykennon310

    The jockey whizzes me straight back five years to when n I went to a and E with pain which they spotted was sepsis which quickly turned to septic shock. I wasn’t bleeding, so the four nurses at each corner were squeezing fluid into me. I was NEVER afraid. I was just in awe that this crowd of people were working there arses off to save my life and they didn’t even know who I was. I completely trusted them and despite them warning my sisters to do a middle of the night 5 hour round trip to get my daughter to come because they thought I wouldn’t make it, here I am.
    They saved me. Incredible people and yet I’d pass them in the street and not know.

      So pleased you survived. Sepsis frightens me. I suffer from chest infections usually once a month I have to go into hospital for antibiotics by drip and always afraid I could get sepsis

      @@Jackie-jz4gr oh you poor thing. One thing I remember from that crazy time was the horrible effort it took just to keep breathing as my lungs filled with fluid. It was the worst feeling and the reason in the end why I was put into a coma, so I know how awful the experience you suffer regularly feels.
      I wish you luck with your health

    In 2016 we hosted an exchange student from China. Unfortunately, 3 days after her 18th birthday she was attacked with an machete by a mentally unstable man. She had a 1inch laceration just a few inches from her spin. She was rushed to ED where they cleaned and dressed the area. Her parents were insistent that she return home to China but she refused. I am a nurse; so I kept the area clean and dry until she healed. We still keep in touch. She is proud of herself and her battle scar.

    11/11/98 I was ejected out the back window into a ditch; when my seat collapsed. I was 12 weeks pregnant with my daughter. I was able to get out of the ditch on my own accord. I was the passenger, and my husband was the driver. We were taken to my parents house by a good Samaritan. 911 was called and we were transported to the ED. I was told I might keep the pregnancy, but there was nothing they could do to ensure I wouldn't miscarry. She is now 24 years old and her name is Faith. God is GREAT!!!

    Why is every case a car crash

    • @maggiematthews3517
      @maggiematthews3517 4 місяці тому +2

      Just coincidence for this episode I think, although there was the case of the jockey - that didn't involve a vehicle. We do see plenty of other things in the series though, falls, burns, stabs etc. so yes, just coincidence that most in this episode are crash injuries.
